Sometimes it becomes very confusing, even embarassing for men to the "gentlemanly thing" scenario at lunch 3 days ago: having lunch in a courtyard, a man came out of a bldg. as a woman approached the same door from outside holding a package...man exits, holds door for woman to enter, a very normal thing to do; she reaches out, opens door more and says loudly enough for us to hear,"I can open my own doors, thanks!"The man was stunned; his face "dropped" from a smile to shock. The woman dissapeared into the bldg. The man looked around, very embarassed...a woman near me said to him.."She must be one of those liberated types without any manners..."He just grined and raised his shoulders as he walked away with a red face....you never know...but, you still go ahead and do the "gentlemanly thing" regardless, the smile you may gat is always priceless from a lady...:)
I think that there would be, if their expectations weren't so low; married today, divorced tommorrow, looking for #2 the day after.....people have stronger commitments to their favourite brands of beer that their mates...sad...
This entire Forum; I've never seen it do deep in total banalities before....seems that many are barely getting by on their minimum daily requirements of intelligence in their quests for self confidence....an eventuality which will not eventuate.......:) All Hail The Banal!
Please do not get dismayed...there are a lot of women who feel the same as you do about marriage; otherwise a lot of them would not be here and would have given up a long time ago......hang in ther,"kid"...:)
LOL, very good!! :) But I wonder at the term "girls" as opposed to the trem "women".....some, many(?) could take those terms differently...some in a "negative" sense, others in an "endearing manner"; would any female object to being called a lady/ladies.....some are or can be very touchie about this; any thought from the Female sides on terminology? (just out of sheer curiousity...)
Bravo for you LovingLife! Keep posting and do not let all the negative reaction wear you down; go right ahead and upset this so called balance; more the merrier. Balances have that stale worn-out status-quo bully type air about it all; I loathe a "status quo" in anything; it's never productive; it inhibits people to grow, to remain "fluid" ;it forces people to become what most despise themselves to be which is "politically correct" otherwise you are worthless....I find that truly offensive and disgusting from every aspect. Keep your views as I do mine,so far I like yours; much more positive outlook on Life than those of embittered cynicalpeople who have let the miseries of Life poison their outlooks and opinions; if they want to yell you down just do as I have learned:refuse to have a battle of wits with unarmed people.....welcome to the asylum...:) have patience and keep a "twisted sense of humour" and you'll do fine....:)

Welcome to our asylum. there is always room for another. My congraqtulations and sympathies for having to raise 2 all on your own; I had to do the same; well, not had to; I loved it, all the good, all the frustrations, even the large pay cuts...they were, are more important, right..:)
The more women post about thse so called "men" the better and the more ridicule they get from all of you here the sooner they will leave....you do all of us a favour. Keep posting this info.for everyone!!
Actually this makes me wonder why we don't have the alternative to sending flowers to someone here; why not a bouquet of Poison Ivy to express a "non enamouring feeling/opinion", or a bundle of snakes; various snakes denoting levels/depths of opinions/emotions; could save a lot of out-right nastiness in print on the Forums or especially e-mails..which then incurs complaints....:)
I think that I'm with adj4u...the State of Confusion for many daze noe since leaving the State of Suspended Animation with brief trips to the State of Delirium, Trauma and Hysteria. All -in-all, quite a historic or is it hysterical trip...all right back to a state of Despair...:)
You are mixing 2 totally different systems...pay more attention to your Dragon sign; read up on Chinese Astrology; it is the oldest system still intact after more than 25oo years, and very accurate and based on more science unlike the mish-mash here in the West. Have fun, as the Dragon is the most powerful as well as volatile and a Golden Dragon is really special....
is that in preparation for rwading my new book "Silence, the Final Frontier: Where No Woman Has Gone Before." so you won't be distracted....:) and can concentrate....:)
Welcome to our asylum vtwhitetiger, hoe you packed a good sense of humour and lots of patience for the patients! :) Join in and hope you have fun!! (the rubber room is just down the hall------>)
Just make sure others,(friends, family, etc. ) know about it, when and where; make sure it is in public, out in the open..ie. sidewalk cafe, Art Gallery, Park etc. Good Luck!! :)
RE: Im Bored
Boredom is rage spread thin....where are my crackers...:/
