RE: BIG BOYS RUN THEIR OWN BATHS

The DVD version may have a Parental Advisory on it similar to the one for the "Wonder Showzen" series, about how it may you ill, that you are a bad parent if you allow any child to see any of it, and that it is recommended for immature adult audiences only, containing disgusting language and situations....%D

RE: BIG BOYS RUN THEIR OWN BATHS

Well, actually, it makes me wonder why there are no inflatable mermaids for the baths...look at all the inflatable "adult-toys" advertisements in many magazines; most of which are very obviously for males, so why no mermaids, or would they be "mer-laids"? There are the sheep, camels, cows and apes/gorillas...and nothing for women's bath toys except the inflatable idiot "Ken"...very unfair!Right ? %D

RE: BIG BOYS RUN THEIR OWN BATHS

Inflatable sheep with garter belts for the bath again...water sports are fine but this is ridiculous....%D

RE: where are the decent ladies

I'd much rather seek out the "indecent" ones, as "decent", to me implies women who are staid, stodgy, without humour and always wear a scowl or frown on their faces, considers someone who laughs in public as "indecent", looks on men in general as either amoral or immoral, if not both, and thinks the Lumberjack Song from Monty Python is disgusting...last but least, that they are "old" mentally way before their time; ie. their outlooks on Life are like sour grapes; give me the "indecent" females, please! Down with decency! %D

RE: Favourite Quotes.....

On Life: "We're all in this alone." Lily Tomlin

RE: Would you date a Muslim?

Hello oceans; One of the so called "great threats" to those "powers that be" was the beginnings of co-operation between Malcom X's Black Muslims, Martin Luther King's anti-Vietnam views and George Lincoln Rockwell's group ; that they all had the same common enemy. Over a relatively short time, they all died by assassination. Then we have the anti-Vietnam stance along with the Civil Rights views of Bobby Kennedy...They all had quite a bit in common despite their public images....
With a smile, I must say, to me, you fit the "profile" of someone whose computer is in on a desk over at Langley... where my father used to work for many years...Has it changed much...%D
My family used to live just above Chevy Chase Circle, many, many years ago...on Kirk St. if I remember... Ciao!

RE: Does this seem odd to anyone out there?...

See the new documentary "Towers Of Deception" DVD which is included in book of that title by Barrie Zwicker. It has shots of the "third collapse" and many more "odd timing" events way ahead of happening...including when Busch was really told of the attack and how the flubs were covered up. Also the documentary DVD"The Truth and Lies of 9-11 by Mike Ruppard, who was the first to yell cover-up!
www,copvcia.com/ They are devasting.

RE: Some Banner Ads.....

Love it! Well put. Have you ever thought of writing scripts for a Woody Allen movie?? Mel Brooks??
Trying to mix the metaphysical fantasy, cash strapped world of ideals with that of the hard cash world of reality is the proverbial mixing of apples and oranges...ummm, actually, now with "genetically modified" world being created in labs for your consumption, maybe it'll be soon possible to create "genetically modified humans that act and feel as though they were rich, but really aren't and they won't know any better...another take-off on Frankenstein: " I've done it! It's alive and it thinks that its rich!" Hey Mel Brooks, are you out there!?

RE: canadain war policy

Just a note: Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden have on separate web sites officially called for Canadian targets to be hit. That was 2 wks ago...shortly after, the huge fires at the gasoline processing plant in Ontario; not saying that they are related, just "noticeable" time wise. Targets to of course, include all gas, oil industries, basically anything related to destabilize the economy and trade with the US....I keep hearing part of a commercials song about..."you asked for it...To..yo..ta..or is it ...AL...Qa...eda...I wonder if any coffins returning from Kandahar will be draped with a Flag from Imperial ESSO... what a shame to have changed from Peace-keepers to War-Makers at worst, or Yankee lap-dogs at best...

RE: School of Hard Knocks

TabooN, you have graduated from your own SoHK's program with honours; no need to repeat the courses.
Taking the roads least traveled usually leaves you along the side somewhere as a "hit & run victim", or lost on a dead end. If you manage to make it back to the main highways of Life. Remember your mistakes, but know that on any new road, you'll make new mistakes and new bad choices. Expect the worse and if it doesn't happen, it'll be a nice surprise. It's mostly hit an' miss despite all your plans. Guardian Angels, go AWOL, fall asleep, whatever; don't depend on any. Sum it all up by live and let die, but don't walk away when you are the only one who can help or least try....
And yes, money IS everything on this plane of existence. It buys or rents everything, everyone; be it material or emotional; take advantage of Sales....no refunds.

RE: Would you date a Muslim?

WOW!! Am I impressed! You actually know of this...what one out of thousand..but do find the book, and a small salt shaker... %D

RE: Would you date a Muslim?

Very good nwnstar! Humour, wit, intelligence and knowledge!
I chuckle at your fifth preference; you sound as if you would really appreciate the understated hilarious passages in the book The Sacred Mushroom And The Cross by John M. Allegro of England who did much of the translations of the Copper Scrolls. He is also the author of several other excellent books on / about religion, the Bibles, and social effects from religion.
Regarding your preference not being negotiable...the next time, after reading this book, you can chuckle over the ancient roots of the Mass performance and just what Al-HE-Lua-Ha really means from its ancient Sumerian roots! (Book includes appendices of all the ancient to modern languages used.) Don't laugh too hard!

RE: If u

RE: Would you date a Muslim?

Excellent point about contacting any officials at a local mosque, but really, how many here would go to the "trouble" of doing so, what, maybe 2 out of 50...
If some people here regard Muslims as "the enemy", what happened to the age old dictum of "Know thy enemy"?? Learn about them, become familiar with all their aspects of life, learn about their different worlds and cultures, but learn what holds such diverse peoples together!!I was very fortunate in growing up in Paris, seeing the French Colonial troops parade on Bastille Day, Arabs from everywhere, mostly all Muslim. I was allowed to watch them get their camels and horses ready, watch the soldiers don their splendid and exotic uniforms, and eventually got to know some of them. In later years, service in the Legion put me around many very different tribes and peoples in Africa many of whom happened to be Muslim; many were "animists", many were of other beliefs. I thoroughly enjoyed my times with them and certainly found more of them that were devout and faithful than my own peoples, wherever I traveled.
In regards to the "Black Muslims", some members of my family had met Malcom X and others. They found him and the others delightful, and full of wit, to use one member's words. During the Hanafi Muslim takeover of the Mosque in Washington DC of March 1977, my oldest sister was there, working for it's director even though she was Roman Catholic. She worked for many of the Arabic Embassies there over many years. She, like me, liked "radicals". They are more "alive" one could say. At the takeover, I was home "on leave" from another war in southern Africa; I wasn't worried over her safety. I came up to DC, phoned the Hanafis at the mosque, had a chat, very cordial. The police etc. got very upset. About 10 minutes later, she was released. No big deal, I trusted their sense of honour, their belief in Allah. We wished them well.
The best man at my wedding was the PLO rep. in Toronto...he and I at different dates for different lengths of time, had volunteered to serve in Arafat's foreign commando unit.
Met many others , in many countries. I like Muslims as a general attitude and like a very famous Brit once said, "If I weren't a Roman Catholic, by God, I'd be a Muslim!" Yes, I can appreciate where he was coming from.

RE: Would you date a Muslim?

YEAHHHHHHHHH! Someone appreciates History at last!!! %D

RE: Would you date a Muslim?

After reading the posts, perhaps an opposite question should be asked: would you date a (fund-a) mental christian? Or would you simply Fund-a- Mental Christian, (ie. Bush, etc.)

RE: SPEAK YOUR MIND

Hey Rainbow! Hope all is well with you! I understand congratulations are in order as you received a nice job promotion! Good for you!
Moved back to Europe; re-activated citizenships, as most countries have changed the laws toback to the pre war years. Many Americans want out and are taking advantage of them; some , if you can prove a relative ad it , up to 4 generations ago, you may be elligible.
Better Health care, mostly free, much better free schools, etc. , better social safety nets, much better way of life, more secure, etc. Cheers!

RE: SPEAK YOUR MIND

oops, meant to say that Life is NOT lived in a cocoon....

RE: SPEAK YOUR MIND

And one other question...does it really matter...never mind, as I was typing, the answer came: yes it is important, especially for those with "contrary views" with "un-popular view"! We do not learn, we cannot reflect on ourselves and our own views with out those who are in disagreement, mildly or even violently for all that matters. Giving all the same "popular" views doesn't get anyone anywhere. Life is lived in a cocoon of similarity. We learn, we advance(if we want to) by diversity of views and opinions. Hell, if everyone has the same views, play the "Devil's Advocate" otherwise all becomes interminably boring , dull, and lifeless...we need total open-ness for real free-speech" to paraphrase Patric Henry, Give me free speech, diversity in opinion or we have tyranny of the mind.

RE: Do you wipe or spread.

Just to clarify a false impression on your part, I do not answer his posts, let alone read them; they do not interest me in the slightest. If I did, it would be germane to the topic, not to him directly as he does to others. There are several examples of this in various threads, I would find it distasteful to add to these.
I never mentioned any one's name, so if your impressions lean towards anyone in particular, be that as it may.

RE: Colonel Sanders....

LOL! Years ago, when I lived in Toronto, I saw what I thought was a small dog run across the Lakeshore road, it stopped and long enough to see that it was a "wharf rat" as my wife called it....yuk.

RE: Do you wipe or spread.

LOL!! If you had dared post this on the European Forum, you'd never hear the end of it from that old maid who thinks he owns it!! %D

RE: Colonel Sanders....

Au contraire, these fiends are not mindless idiots; anything but. ; if anything, perhaps total nihilists with a type of apocalyptic attitude for their fellow humans; they really don't care how many suffer and die, even of their own families and relatives as they too are consumers of the air, the foods that are being poisoned...in the end, who's lives are more important....the ones doing and causing all the various types of pollution or those who wish to preserve and help our planet and all its myriad of Lifeforms...
I know, you were being serious, it's just that perverse sense of monty python type humour that kicks in at most anytime...
(while on patrols in the Zambezi Valley, many of us found even shorts too hot and constraining, so we wore loincloths, still being careful of all the thorns that grew everywhere....%D

RE: First names

AHHHH... beautiful Marseilles, Cannes, St. Tropez and Juan-le pin(?) Nice memories of childhood and also Monaco and Monte Carlo..at the casinos, where my mother put me under tha roullette table til she was finished playing! While stationed at Aubagne with the Legion, had a chance to revisit, especially St. Tropez....that was really nice in the 60's especially when Brigitte Bardot was "holding court" there! %D
