RE: Song That Tells Folks What You 'd Like To Do Tonight!

Ho! Dammits, it was Sam Cooke, "Another Saturday Night", forgot the year...

RE: Dedicate a song......

usual Friday: boring, bleak and blahhhhh..%)

RE: Dedicate a song......

For anyone who can use it: "Between the Sheets"
I've forgotten the woman singer's name and year...%)

RE: how important are looks?

I fuuly agree with phoenix's observation; you are an attractive woman and intelligent; maibe that is what scares off the obviously shallow males that have unfortunatky crossed your path; hang in there!
ps; I loved the Bayou country!! %)

RE: how important are looks?

Hey, I read that you have a hotel for vacations; will ther be a diminuative, slavish midget in a tuxedo to greet me if I come to your fantasy hotel? %)

RE: how important are looks?

Looks are on the outside only; to make any assumption that the exterior of a person reflects what
s on the inside is naive at best and downright dangerous at worst.
Oh sure, everyone likes to "show-off" their partner in public, but then what about in private? Looks do not imply intelligence; people's looks change with age, while the qualities of being "attractive"on the inside usually do not. Which is better, when in old age, sitting in your rocker, someone who can still carry on a good conversation, sharing the same interests as you, or some one with only faded looks with ever deepening wrinkles that just sits there with a vacant smile...looks are only skin deep. %)

RE: list of life

The list should be posted on all City Hall entrances %)

RE: chit chattin....its alllll GOOD!!

RE: Where are all the night owls?

RE: If your boy friend or girl friend, husband or wife is very faithful to you, will you be faithful?

Duuuuuhhhhhh, isn't that sworn to in the ,(if not all) marriage vows, supposedly the most sacred of oaths that we take in Life; that is One reason to know the other person, especially their character, before any vows are taken or entrusted to them to live up to....

RE: I have been single for 3 years i think I am ready

single for only 3 years and ready? Ready for what, another 3 years...believe me, it has nothing to do with whether you are ready or not, for either finding someone or another 3 years of being alone; it's just what comes...or doesn't

RE: the old fashioned date

DITTO!!

RE: What's Your Sign?

Of all the world's astrology systems that I've looked at, I've found , I prefer the Chinese; Dog.(woof..)

RE: How far away?

When a lot younger, "she" always was on the other side of town,; the other side of the State or country and out of the country; oh the distances I traveled to find that "someone special", "the one and only" etc.
In matters such as this, I learned very quickly to not put any bounderies on the possibilities or on yourself. Life; Love is an adventure of a lifetime, live it, love it and of course the "great unknown as Candy puts it can be scary; it's part of the adventure of Life;no more scarier than being alone and lonely, which ,to me, is far, far worse.
ps==Candy, what is "ne"...I sometimes find it hard to follow what you are saying...

RE: Location, Location

Rural isolation is a real problem; sometimes I think the datin sites have inadvertently made it worse by allowing one to find someone but then the distances, etc. are sometimes seemingly, impossible to overcome and that puts one into a "funk"; it is depressing; taking a bit from the strange matching procedures of ll187, perhaps each large cities should have, specialize in their own websites for their own geographic area; so many sqare miles circumference, that way it may make it much easier for people to meet. Just a dumb idea for cutting down the growing aloness and isolation of people..

RE: Comedians only!

why do men chase women they have no intention of marrying? duhhh for the same reason that dogs chase cars they have no intention of driving....
How was ol' Colonel Sanders a typical male?
All he cared 'bout were legs, breasts and thighs....

RE: Survival of the fittest, lol

Oh, PS if I'm dropped in, then I'm assuming that I'll have the parachutte and harness; they'll come in handy!
Never watched "Survivor"...no cable

RE: Survival of the fittest, lol

Amazon it is. 2 items:machette and snake bite kit; everything else the jungle supplies in abundance. No compass needed; climb to canopy for directions;Vines provide all ropes, strings, straps and water if needed.Trees provide material for foot wear and shelters; also a variety of weapons, like blow-guns, darts(mixed with snake venom) use machette on snake; Amazon has more deadly and poisnous snakes than Africa, from what I've seen; bows and arrows; (military issued jungle snake bite kits usually include some waterproof matches, otherwise find rocks to build fire or use woof spindle method, using dry leaves and twigs from canopy(closer to heat from sun; groundlevel, all wet constantly.) Bug repellants from plants and earth. Spent 2 wks going through it downriver learned a lot from the Indians, almost like the Pygmies in equatorial Africa and the Bushmen of the kalahari; fantastic people. Who would I take?? good question!! I haven't the foggiest notion ol'chap! Whom might you recomend! Any volunteers!? Hey! don't everyone run away! Come Bacccccccccccccck.....

RE: Survival of the fittest, lol

Are you setting us in a jungle with or without clothing including footwear like the SAS sometimes likes to do for their survival "graduation", do we "walk-in" or are we dropped-in? Give us some parameters Joan...lives are steak, er, I mean at stake here! %) :) (The SAS and some others never even tells you where or what jungle...Wheeeeeee...)

RE: True Friendships ? or Relationships ?

Oh how right you are Yellowcricket, anything is possible, though I'm not at all sure if there are reasons,; but I've met a few people on here, that IF I were indeed actually looking for that "someone special" I'd perhaps try to take it further. There are a lot of nice people here ,as well as those that do not seem to be; Life is a bowl of mixed nuts! %) Keep reaching in, ya never know what you'll find and always hope for the best...

RE: tell me the funniest joke you know!!

just amusing: a new drug on the market for women only; no prescription needed: Mirrorcillin--a 5cc dose enables a woman to walk past mirrors for up to 4 hours without pausing once!

RE: Are you a considerate guy and put the toilet seat down or could care less who falls in?
