Well, when I was young we used to have lots of tropical fruit trees around. We often picked green mangoes, cut them up and ate them dipped in a mixture of curry powder and salt!!
My stepfather ate the weirdest combination of foods imaginable and used to make this awful soup called Fish Eye soup, which we all refused to touch. Eeeeek. Yours is odd but not totally weird...
I think he means bechamel sauce.... a white sauce - see recipe below...
Ingredients 5 tablespoons butter 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour 4 cups milk 2 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg Directions In a medium saucepan, heat the butter over medium-low heat until melted. Add the flour and stir until smooth. Over medium heat, cook until the mixture turns a light, golden sandy color, about 6 to 7 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat the milk in a separate pan until just about to boil. Add the hot milk to the butter mixture 1 cup at a time, whisking continuously until very smooth. Bring to a boil. Cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly, then remove from heat. Season with salt and nutmeg, and set aside until ready to use.
As most people agreed, it depends on the personalities of the couple in the relationship. Some people are happy together 24/7 and others need time apart to replenish their relationship. I go along with Kahlil Gibran's words in the prophet: "Let there be space in your togetherness". You are less likely that way to take each other for granted...
I go along with most others... It means there is food around! Don't read anything more into it - you don't want to become paranoid. Silly friend. You ought to catch a couple and put them in a cage then drop them off at her place!
On a lighter note... My mother (now deceased) used to say: "Life is for the birds. The stork brings you, you marry a Crowe (she did - 3rd husband's surname) and the dove's take you." At her memorial service (held at Dove's Funeral Parlour) I was listening to this really weird preacher guy talk crap about her in this fake American accent and her words popped into my head. I suddenly felt this terrible urge to giggle... Everyone thought I was sobbing quietly, but I wasn't. It was probably partly hysteria, but I could just imagine my mother having a good chuckle wherever she was!!!
Bottom line is, life's too short to live with fear! Embrace it, take risks, and live each day as if it were your last...
That is absolutely SICK. If there is ANYTHING that really gets me furious, it is picking on a helpless animal. It is outright bullying of the worst sort. If you know of anyone personally doing that, I would report it immediately to your local SPCA or animal cruelty centre.

Only just got on. Have you received lots of applications??? Are the CS gals lining up around the block?? You forgot to mention that you're a funny man! We all love your sense of humour!!!
That was the reason I joined, but must confess I am a little slack about using it regularly. I also believe certain things are for private consumption, not for the whole world to know....
I love romance, especially if it is spontaneous! I mean, like buying me flowers just for the hell of it, not to say sorry or because it's my birthday... that kinda thing. Making the effort to get some good wine, dim the lights or buy candles, and put on some fab music... I do it, so I like him to as well. To me romance is a way of showing you care!
Hmmm, my immediate thought was that we women are better at handling physical pain! Just thinking about the men and boys I have known... They just start getting a sniffle and it's the end of the world whereas we carry on regardless! I guess there's a good reason women were designed for childbirth!!! I guess it depends though. This is an excerpt from site listed below:
"The laboratory studies show rather convincingly that women have a lower pain threshold and pain tolerance than men. That has been fairly consistently shown in the experimental studies that have been done."
