Doin' ok, Paws, except my favorite neighborhood bar went out of business. December 31st, in fact. Apparently they'd made a habit of forgetting to pay the rent.
Maybe you could find another place with less-lovely women? Or get a table instead, and chat up the waitress. Just an idea.
She's doing quite well, CB, thanks! Busy though. Unfortunately her slow season and mine do not coincide. Romance would be so much easier if real life didn't intrude, wouldn't it? (And if folk didn't go about getting their fingers and toes stuck in holes and bath taps.)
You gotta prioritize, and put yourself first. Do the things you enjoy, the things that make you feel good. Doesn't have to be much: a long hot soaking bath, relaxing and listening to your favorite album, cooking yourself a nice meal (or ordering in pizza), whatever makes you feel good....just do it! Go on, no one's watching, just go ahead! You deserve it!
