RE: Why do I attract older men?

Hi samxixam

Are you going out with this 35 year old guy at the moment??

RE: Is it snowing where you are?

Was snowing here earlier, but just freezing fog now..

RE: A Constructive post, I hope

Its just jealousy, KMD.

Something there is far too much of on these forums, IMO..

Glad you have found your man..!thumbs up thumbs up

RE: Agony Aunt Candy!!!!

Just to say, like the new pic, CandyShopthumbs up

RE: A Modern Day Fairytale...........in Ireland

Ah, found it, V..

Amazing, and I echo all the previous sentiments..

Enjoy your time in Cork, I will have a word with Her Upstairs and try and stop the snow for you!!

laugh

And what you said about life's priorities - yep, puts things in perspective a tad..

thumbs up

RE: Young guys into older women

There's a huge amount of "The Older Woman Syndrome" here..Amazes me!!

I get alot of 20-somethings contacting me,and I just dont reply.

Most of them make it clear that they are just into the Me and Mrs Jones thing, and are harmless enough.

It doesnt offend me, just dont take it forward!!

RE: Pictures In Profiles

Mixed views on this really..If I see someone without a photo, I do wonder exactly who they are - its just a natural reaction, I think..confused

I personally dont care if my neighbours know Im on a dating site; there's nowhere near the same stigma attached to it as there was a few year ago..

I do understand though, why people who live in small towns and villages are reluctant to post a photo..

Personal choice, I guess..

RE: reasons for pullling profile martin 212

All the luck in the world, Martin.

I always enjoyed your words, and you were always the gentleman.

Best of luck, my friend..thumbs up

RE: Should we have National Snow Days?

Theres just been a discussion on this on a lunchtime tv show Ive just been watching.

The Fors were saying, yep, whats wrong with a bit of fun in the snow and taking a day off. The Againsts were saying it was just an excuse for being lazy, and they should just get on with it..confused

The whole transport system collapsed in the UK yesterday purely because of a bit of snow..laugh

Crazy!! If all the people in Scandinavia took a day off every time there was snow, they would never go to work!!

Think its fun tho, and its just started snowing here in West Cork..yay rolling on the floor laughing

RE: age....

I agree totally, Vinny. And I did actually say this about Mr W earlier. Its easy to spot someone swearing in a nasty way, rather than in a joke way, like Mr W does. He's sound

thumbs up

RE: age....

And, by the way, Partiro, when I asked you this question, I asked it nicely, with no digs or slurs or anything. It was a simple question. Why you decided to put the nasty bit in about soap boxes, is beyond me. I wasnt not getting at you, I was asking for something to be explained. scold I dont care what you think of me, Partiro. All I wanted was an answer to my question. You could have just given it, rather than add a childish dig. scold

RE: age....

Typo - meant to say "do NOT comment on the language"

RE: age....

Pity you left it until the middle of the night to reply, rather than reply after you had posted on the Ears thread, when more people were around to see your answer...confused

Whether you agree with someone's comments or not, they still have the right to comment, whatever's country's forum it is. Just because you do comment on language, doesnt make it the same for everyone else.

But thanks, so much, for clarifying.

Regards

RE: Are there Really any Good Guys Left on this Planet??

Oh, that fence must be soooo uncomfortable to sit too long on!!!laugh

RE: Are there Really any Good Guys Left on this Planet??

I dont think expectations are set too high, no.

I think people need to get off their soap boxes, accept their failings, (because we all have them), get over their hurts from the past, deal with their prejudices, and get on with their lives..

Otherwise, stop bleedin whinging, and get outa here...!

RE: Are there Really any Good Guys Left on this Planet??

And

What?!

RE: Are there Really any Good Guys Left on this Planet??

What?!

RE: Are there Really any Good Guys Left on this Planet??

Yep. People thrive on misery, and slagging other people off, my friend..

Dont stop posting, I find you one of the few on here that talk sense..

RE: Are there Really any Good Guys Left on this Planet??

You reckon you could handle me??laugh

RE: what was the nicest thing that happend to you today?

The best thing to happen to me today was that I did a much longer workout that I have ever done before, and was still alive!!

Sportmen/Sportswomen - Who Do You Admire the Most??

Cool..!

I want a season ticket!!

Cant beat the era of Damon Hill and Michael Schumaker, tho.

RE: Holidays -- comin up to that time of the year again...

Dont think there are many people left that can actually afford a holiday!!

Sportmen/Sportswomen - Who Do You Admire the Most??

Have you met Lewis Hamilton, then?

Sportmen/Sportswomen - Who Do You Admire the Most??

Thats true enough.

Amazing to see..thumbs up Admire them immensely..

With able bodied athletes, tho, there are no limits to what they can do. They are constantly being asked to go the extra mile.. Swimmers who train 14 hours a day, runners who run 20 miles every morning...Wow

Every time I watch the olympics, I feel humble..and very unfit!!! laugh

Sportmen/Sportswomen - Who Do You Admire the Most??

Im interested in all sport, as I find it amazing how these people train constantly, and focus.

Trying to get my head around Hurling and Gaelic Football, but they look like killer sports to me. How anyone comes off the pitch without 10 broken bones, I really dont know..confused

Sportmen/Sportswomen - Who Do You Admire the Most??

Each to their own, Vinny, each to their own...thumbs up laugh

I have to say, I admire extreme prowess in ANY sport, actually. Takes alot of will power and concentration; more than I would ever have.

Sportmen/Sportswomen - Who Do You Admire the Most??

Ive often wondered what exactly IS the point of golf??confused

Load of guys (and gals) ambling around a field, trying to putt into a hole...

Hmmmm...laugh

Sportmen/Sportswomen - Who Do You Admire the Most??

I also admire the jocky, Bob Champion, from years ago, who struggled with cancer, and still became a world class jockey..

Sportmen/Sportswomen - Who Do You Admire the Most??

After spending my Sunday morning oggling Raffa Nadal, I have to say I think he is grrrrrrreat!! kiss kiss

Its not just his looks though, its his will power on court and his ability to play the game so beautifully...doh

What sports person does it for you, and why? Who do you really admire, and why?
