Theres just been a discussion on this on a lunchtime tv show Ive just been watching.
The Fors were saying, yep, whats wrong with a bit of fun in the snow and taking a day off. The Againsts were saying it was just an excuse for being lazy, and they should just get on with it..
The whole transport system collapsed in the UK yesterday purely because of a bit of snow..
Crazy!! If all the people in Scandinavia took a day off every time there was snow, they would never go to work!!
Think its fun tho, and its just started snowing here in West Cork..
I agree totally, Vinny. And I did actually say this about Mr W earlier. Its easy to spot someone swearing in a nasty way, rather than in a joke way, like Mr W does. He's sound
And, by the way, Partiro, when I asked you this question, I asked it nicely, with no digs or slurs or anything. It was a simple question. Why you decided to put the nasty bit in about soap boxes, is beyond me. I wasnt not getting at you, I was asking for something to be explained. I dont care what you think of me, Partiro. All I wanted was an answer to my question. You could have just given it, rather than add a childish dig.
Pity you left it until the middle of the night to reply, rather than reply after you had posted on the Ears thread, when more people were around to see your answer...
Whether you agree with someone's comments or not, they still have the right to comment, whatever's country's forum it is. Just because you do comment on language, doesnt make it the same for everyone else.
I think people need to get off their soap boxes, accept their failings, (because we all have them), get over their hurts from the past, deal with their prejudices, and get on with their lives..
Otherwise, stop bleedin whinging, and get outa here...!
With able bodied athletes, tho, there are no limits to what they can do. They are constantly being asked to go the extra mile.. Swimmers who train 14 hours a day, runners who run 20 miles every morning...Wow
Every time I watch the olympics, I feel humble..and very unfit!!!
Im interested in all sport, as I find it amazing how these people train constantly, and focus.
Trying to get my head around Hurling and Gaelic Football, but they look like killer sports to me. How anyone comes off the pitch without 10 broken bones, I really dont know..
RE: Why do I attract older men?
