Apparently not...now instead of looking for a significant other...I should just opt for a tutor(or is that tooter?)! Thanks for the clarification. Still learning!
I just found that out today, by reading the other thread. I'd noticed I had not seen that pretty face on here in a while, but didn't know why...but glad to see ya back.
Hey Wendy, I may not have the answer to your question, but it may be that the guys you are meeting/interested in are not ready for the family type of relationship.
It has been my observation in the past years, that not many guys in the age group your looking in are really ready to settle down, or not ready to make that kind of commitment.
Don't get me wrong...I'm sure there are some that are ready...but not as many as you might would think. I feel as if a guy(most)is not as ready, till he gets to his late 20's to 30's years of age.
Most younger guys are mostly after what they can get from a woman...without commitment...so, that he may move on to the next one. Sorry to say...but that seem to be what I've been able to deduct.
This is only my opinion, having been there myself(as a young man). It seems as if the older they get, the more they start to look at a committed relationship more seriously.
Oh, and it's not just in Alabama...it is everywhere. I hope you do find what your looking for...someone that will think and care as much for you as well as your child. Sounds like the two of you deserve it. Here's wishing the best to you and yours. This has been Just My Opinion. God bless!
Not sure if your icon was because you had no idea what I am referring to. This is reference to ABC's soap title: All My Children! Sorry if I confused you.
On one hand we're still hoping for what we missed when we were younger, and still making that last effort to grab it!
On the other hand, we actually realize we're not that age group anymore...and with the(back of the mind)idea that our clock is running down...we(or I)are NOT actually what the other person is really looking for.
What with the younger looking for the older, and the older looking for the younger....that in itself makes looking for romance more like playing a game of "Dodge Ball".
Don't know about you Tater...but at 60 yrs of age...I love to live long enough to see at least 1(one)honest election win! But, I don't think I have THAT MUCH time left on my "Life Ticket"!
I'm with ya on your opinion...but he bought most all those votes with promises! Now it's time to pay-up....what ya wanna bet...he's going to come up short! I applaud your opinion.
Current screen name here(TheresMyFriend)is from my personality.
Screen name on other site(BigJohn10)ummm, well a lot of people over the years(20+ yrs) have asked about that one...I just tell them that numbers 1-9 were already taken!
Yep!! It was GREAT!! If you can imagine the warmth of her around you(while inside her), and contrasted with that, of the bitter cold against the rest of your skin! I is W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L!!
