I can vaguely remember seeing a docu on this ... if my memory serves me right I beleive t least some of the cases could be scientifically explained ... something along the lines of the oils and fat in the body keep the fire to the one area ... one particular lady was suspected of having set herself aflame by falling asleep while she was smoking in her bed ...

A word of warning however amigo ... in real life or when you start communicating privately, people are not always the way they project themselves in the forum. I learned this at my expense!!! No harm done but a fair amount of time consumed discovering the mis-match between how "he" liked to project himself (who he thinks he is) and what he is really like (in my opinion)...

I've met one person from CS

I'm in UK currently and we met in France where I was flying to visit family over the Christmas hols. He drove 1600 km to meet me for coffee - Who says romance is dead? !! - then 1600 km back 10 days later after dropping me off at the airport for my flight back to UK.

I'm flying over next week to stay with him for a few weeks ...

I had "not looking" on mine after an "online" relationship that I felt was gonna work then realised it wouldn't .. so ended it ...

I decided to stay on the site because I liked the forums and the friends I had made here even though I felt that the chances of findind the sort of person that would be on a similar wave length BOTH on a spiritual and human level were pretty unlikely!!!

And I was wrong because in spite of the fact I wasn't looking (or may be because of it) through a frienship communication with someone, I discovered him to be just the sort of man I thought I would never find (and vice-versa)... We've already met and spent 10 wonderful days together and are spending a few weeks together again shortly till we make it more permmanent ...

Bringing my kids up to respect the fact I am a person as well as a mother. They're both grown up now and we have a wonderful relationship.

Being totally fluent in 3 languages and a very good teacher well liked by the students, till I decided to retire from teaching.

Feeling at peace with the decisions I have made in my life.
