RE: Those Whom Wish To Blessed With A Child One Day

Same thought as had our great-great-grandparents and our geat-grandparents and our grandparents and now I am already a grandmother soooooooo already done the thinking ... And lived passed it ...

Same with education, I saw similar extract from education seminars or journals highlighting "the state of education" as far back a mid 1800 ...

We always think we're re-inventing the wheel and thought processes, but we're not ...

RE: Men wake up aroused in the morning, yes, we can't help it .......

RE: For those of you who have actually met someone that you met on the internet....

You're also on your own!! grin

RE: The Power of the Flame

I light a candle during spiritual moments, meditation, healing sessions etc ...

Also for a more romatic atmosphere when I'm having a special meal with someone, or just chill out ... or in the batroom when I have a long bath (alone or not)

I believe everyone's light is within and it is possible (I believe I do) to tap into a higher devine source of light to achieve a sense of inner peace and balance - it's a healing source ...

You use different words to how I would say it but totally agree with: It speaks to us of the soul spark that is above and below, within and without, that which links us all together originating from the same source of thought consciousness. I call it Universal energy ... Many people I have met throughout my life have enlightened it, including my children ... I have recently met someone who I feel enlightens my life for different reasons, some of them of a spiritual dimension ...

Feel good ...

An image that someone posted earlier reminded me of such a time ...

It was during my last parent's evening at school before I retired from teaching ... A parent had been searching for me at the end of the evening (as they had not made an appointment), found me shook my hand warmly then saying !Ahhh! There you are, Pleased to meet you Mrs ....... Then added with a twinkle in their eye " Right now show me ... how do you walk on water? Because from my daughter has been telling me about you, you should be able to!! grin took me a few ticks to work out what it all meant, then I burst out laughing then It just brought tears to my eyes!!! crying blushing yay

Feel good ...

At different stages in our lives we meet different people ... sometimes something they share with us makes a lasting impression and OR is simply a beautiful compliment that makes us feel good about ourselves ...

Share with us one or more such instences and what was said ... teddybear

RE: WHERE`S EVERYBODY? You all got a life or what?...

That is simply awfull ... I'm so used to seeing cowns and sheep roaming free in large fields in France (where I was brought up in the countryside) and still nowadays when I visit, that I have difficulty getting used to the fact it's not the same evrywhere! doh

RE: For those of you who have actually met someone that you met on the internet....

You're such a charmer!! grin

You are absolutely right!! Whatever!

RE: For those of you who have actually met someone that you met on the internet....

RE: What do women really want in a man?

YEP!!

Probably didn't help yourself with your rant about being annoyed at her ... when you are the one who hurt her feelings and should have been annoyed at yourself ...

Human nature again ... if you be annoyed at the person you've hurt then no need to look at own behaviour ... sigh

RE: What do women really want in a man?

ok Stooie if you're ok with sharing a bit more of my wisdom here goes ...

Although ego is not supposed to be an important part of any healthy relationship, we're all human ... And egos and pride get bruised ...

If you (a guy) are in the process of getting your own ego stroked (publically) and boosting someone else's ego (a lady) in the process, and that lady happens to not be the one you are involved with - SOMEONE (the lady you are involved with) is going to get her feelings and pride hurt !!!!

Guys it's so simple!!!

If you are behaving towards a lady in a way that would make her think you are not involved with anyone, you have crossed the line of "just having fun" ... doh

IMHO

RE: Fill in the blanks......

If I could be a dolphin for the day I would swim the oceans.

If I was given a million euro but had to spend it in 1hour I
would donate half of it to Great Ormond St Hosp and half of it to my children.

I have only been in love a few time/s.

If I could have one chance to change something
it would be corruption.

There are not enough happy children in this world.

I think that the wealth of the EXTREMELY rich should pay the taxes of those on minimum wage. yay

RE: How often do you mop your kitchen floor?

When I was growing up my sister and me had to clean the whole house from top to bottom, including dusting chairs and every bit of furniture, scrubbing the bathroom including the walls, sweeping/vacuming all the floors and washing them etc ... TWICE A WEEK for a household of six people ... Had to do this come what may whatever else had been planned ... missed many outings because of it ...

Now I'm allergic to housework laugh ... I do it when and if I feel like it ... just because I can!! grin

RE: Spontaneous Combustion......

If you google "white phospherus" you'll find some amazing and controvertial info on it ... Including the use of it in military weapons and the investigations on the use of it by the US army!doh doh

RE: On the problem of freewill.

Diogenes ... Excellent! in agreement with most of your long post!! applause

For the last paragraph ... After discussing differences between a dictatorship and a monarchy, I used to get the kids at school to reflect on the meaning of "Your freedom ends where mine begins" . Do you think it means the same as " My freedom ends where yours beginnings" ...
