it's a form of saying "what's up" which in America and Canada means "What's happening?" While over here in the uk it generally means "what's wrong or what's the matter?"
We have the same kind of thing over here, but more often than not it's some poor deranged person running amok with a knife or any kind of weapon they can get their hands on. Fortunately most of them are unable to get a gun off their Mothers, which usually results in less carnage.
I was thinking along the same lines Monte, that's what I meant by a changing of the times. Society demands change at an ever faster rate, it happens so fast we hardly notice it any more.
Not sure, the change was so sudden, over a couple of years ago now can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe too many bannings for one reason or another, or maybe just a changing of the times...
You may be right, but given its more or less the same format same site I'm still not too sure why the forums and participants have changed so much and become so slow.
There was a time when the forums moved so fast it was difficult to keep up with them. Drama upon drama kept you riveted, like a soap opera there was always some altercation, dispute or dirt being dished somewhere. Of course there was always the community of cs where meets were arranged and people met up to balance it out, not to mention providing support for members who were feeling down or hurting. I'm not sure what caused the change but I know I miss the old days on here and the fun we used to have. Oh well, I guess all things must pass.

Try to make your mind your best friend instead of your worst enemy...
