The ego looks for liberation from its unsatisfactory state, it knows something is missing but always looks in the wrong place. This is how most of us live our lives, searching for the next moment and reflecting on the past rarely living in the present moment. To be spiritual is to take control and deny the ego it's controlling power. We can then find the true self which is grounded in the present moment and will not pamper to the demands of an out of control ego, an affliction society has been suffering from for way too long. An awakening IS happening around the world and it cant be stopped.

The word God has become meaningless due to misuse over many thousands of years leading to absurd beliefs and egoic delusions. It has become a word that ironically is a hindrance in pointing you to the experience of God or the higher level of consciouness that is available to us all.
