RE: Israel Under Attack

Good post.

Israel has been attacking Palestinians since Moses was alive.

RE: Never thought we'd see an armed attack on a NZ Mosque

Really?

That looks like everything else he said on here.

A cloned response, that could've come from any uneducated Trump supporters...

RE: Meanwhile In An Alternate Universe

I decided Obama should be shot for his "Red Line" fiasco; and started posting horrible things about him.

Trump asked Russia for help with his election on national television, promised to put Hillary in prison, make Mexico pay for a wall (without appointing an ambassador to Mexico), lost an election by 2.8 million votes, was appointed dictator over America by 304 people, and he curtsied to Arabian royalty while representing our nation.

...and I started wishing Obama was president again.

Oh wait! That happened in this universe. :(

RE: Why do people try to discredit others - knowing it's made up - stirring trouble?

Criticizing people and insulting them aren't the same thing at all; although they can both come at the same time.

Pointing out that somebody made a mistake, isn't the same as laughing at the way they look.

I welcome criticism of my spelling and grammar; because it's not very easy to notice the mistakes I make, due to my ignorance.

I'm only here to improve myself. It'd really help if someone with better writing skills criticizes every grammar mistake I make, especially my punctuation.

Pointing out that I'm butt ugly won't help at all. That's the difference between criticism and insults.

Do you have a prescription for appearing in public without a vail?

RE: Do you think – cannabis should be made legal in your country?

I started smoking cigarettes when I was seven. I quit when I was 15; because I decided, I don't do bunk drugs.

They don't get you high!

When I quit, they were 50 cents a pack; but even then, that added up to over $3,650 in 10 years.

RE: Grandson was a bad boy lying to his grandma...........funny none the less

My Grandpa was a lumberjack In the Pacific Northwest, at the turn of the last century. His long legs carried him swiftly everywhere he went; and more so, when he could walk up mountains.

As a boy, he'd take me walking; and I'd run to keep up with him.

I thought he'd live forever; but one day when he was 93, he asked me to walk slower...

I remember him telling me about our cousin-

"They gave him an Irish promotion. That is to say, he was demoted."

I hear his Irish accent just like he was alive and speaking to me, with him saying that, whenever I think of him.

Hearing John sing, The Old Man with an Irish accent: you were right.

It made me cry.

I'm about to try downloading it; because I like the way it helps me remember my Grandpa.

RE: Question for men – Do you prefer a woman with or without make-up?

I prefer women who look better without make up.

RE: Love at last ... I finally found an intelligent woman !!!

If you found an intelligent woman, why are you trying to talk to us?

Ohhh... Now I learning...

Why isn't she talking to you?

RE: Children - ages 0 to 12 - How do you treat them?

I started working when I was 4, selling my art work, door to door.

I got my first paycheck when I was 7, for helping my mom's bf In the restaurant where he was a chef.

By the time I was 8, I was working every weekend, cleaning yards for soda bottles and change.

I got blessed with an a**hole stepdad borrowing all my money, blowing it on alchohol and cigarettes, and refusing to pay me back; because, I ate...

...but, I only went to school so I could steal lunches from the other children; since I never got enough to eat at home...

If it wasn't for him and my mom teaching me, If you work hard and save all your money: someone else will spend every dime you earned getting drunk and beating you, while you starve...

I'd probably still have a job.

RE: Grandson was a bad boy lying to his grandma...........funny none the less

My Granpa's gone.
He moved on.

I'll never see him again: oh well.
People tell me, "Tears aren't for men;" but, they can go to hell.

I don't like to lie.
But, I knew he'd cry...

If he learned of the life that I lead.
Pickin' peyote, and smoking weed.

I'm not ashamed of my ways.
But for the rest of my days...

I'll wish he could understand.
Oh God, I loved that man.

RE: Do you think – cannabis should be made legal in your country?

By using the technique I posted above...

I was able to get a very potent indoor government strain that produces tiny plants, which normally only grow big enough to harvest 1/8 to 1/4 ounce per plant...

...to yield a over pound, from just one seed.

RE: Do you think – cannabis should be made legal in your country?

By staring plants on their sides, you can have 10 or more verticle branches showing in a few weeks.

I cut off the branches that point down, and turn them into clones...

Then cut off the little branches at the bottom of the branches that are pointing up, and clone them too...

Put root tone on all the places you cut branches off; and spiral the plant, so it fits into a planter that's big enough to bury all the places you put root tone on... planting the branches back down In the gound. By using lights with this technique, you can keep your plant from budding, until it has 100 tops.

I'm allowed to grow 7 plants. When the cops came to check my plants, one of em said, "No way brah!" "Dats not one plant;" and he started to pull it up.

I stopped him, and pointed to my trophy rack... a bunch of old root balls, with each one showing that all the branches I buried grew roots too, while still being attached to the original root...

I own, "Medical Marijuana Counseling of Hawaii."
Those words, with my phone number: and the words, "Increase your yield." are all that's on my business card.

I get $40 an hour for teaching people how to do this...

If you follow these instructions, you can easily get 10x's more harvest from every plant you have in the ground.

It can look like you're growing 100 plants; but they're all connected to the same root; and they all came from one seed...

...and every little branch you cut off of your original plant, which you can successfully clone, can yield the same amount.

RE: Do you think – cannabis should be made legal in your country?

I use $30 led, 12 volt truck running lights, from Wal Mart, to start my clones.

You can't grow buds with em; but, they work as good as the 110 watt fluorescent lights, that I used for starting plants before I moved off of the grid.

RE: Do you think – cannabis should be made legal in your country?

My friend got the first marijuana degree from the University of Hawaii.

She studied it so much, no teacher in Hawaii knew as much about it as she did; so she also wrote the curriculum.

She used it to treat her cancer. She was so far ahead of her time.

She had to move to Holland to stay out of prison, get her masters degree, and find someone who knew more about it than she did.

RE: Perhaps we need to keep an eye on India and Pakistan shooting down planes

I didn't make it up.

I read it in a library reference book, on comparative religions in 1983; and after all these years of me quoting it to Buddhists, you're the only one who voiced any opinion on It possibly not being true, or It might be misquoted...

Since I've personally bandied it about for more than half of my life without any questions from any Buddhists except you; and you say you've heard it before, and you didn't question my accuracy of what you heard from other people too...

...and since you can't say which one it is...

A. ...was it quoted wrong every time you read and heard it?

B. Or, is it not true at all?

I'm gonna have to point out, that you're position only proves, You don't know.

Vedic religions tie into Christianity in many ways. The virgin birth means more to people who believe you can earn the right to be born from a virgin: than it does in Judaism.

Jesus never wore sewn clothing, as a sign to the wise men from ""The East" that he dressed like them, in unsewn temple garments.

To figure out if it was really a quote from Buddah, it might help to take a closer look at what Jesus said and did; because it makes perfect sense to me.

It's what makes me go against many Christians who claim, Buddah is Satan: and it enables me to say, Buddah was a prophet of God.

If you can prove Buddah didn't say it, or that it was misquoted: I'll have to consider revising the opinion of him that I've been teaching people for over 30 years...

RE: St.Patrick's Day

Pagan Island is in the Pacific Ocean, a little bit north of Sai Pan.

RE: Which is better the better lifestyle for you?

It's hard to believe, I used to be a city boy! I can't go to the one gas station/store town 5 or 6 miles from my house now, without feeling worn out at the prospect of dealing with humans.

I live offgrid far in the country, on a dirt road where I often fall asleep, while I'm out starwatching, without any cars waking me up all night.

I keep a canoe in my yard; because I've paddled and sailed over 5,000 miles of rivers, the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic coast, and the great lakes.

If I get enough new neighbors who care about my lawn, that they raise the value and taxes on my land... I plan on selling it to them, and going back to sea.

I love living on uninhabited islands! I don't have any neighbors near me now; so it can feel like I'm on my own island for the time being.

If I sell my house, I was thinking Pagan Island sounds like a nice place to live.

RE: Perhaps we need to keep an eye on India and Pakistan shooting down planes

I repent.

I didn't quote that faithfully.

I added the word, "also."

mykingdomforanam:
On his deathbed, he also told his two closest chelas, He still hadn't found the truth..

RE: Perhaps we need to keep an eye on India and Pakistan shooting down planes

It's been years since I saw the book with that quote in it... but, I think I
quoted it verbatim.

RE: Perhaps we need to keep an eye on India and Pakistan shooting down planes

Buddah was a prophet.

Jesus is the Son of God.

Mohammed was an antichrist.

RE: i am the voice for the voiceless

Thanking God, I don't need you to speak for me.

RE: Perhaps we need to keep an eye on India and Pakistan shooting down planes

You left your home, to go to someone else's home and kill them, in exchange for money and position in society...

The very things Buddah ashewed; but you think you speak for Buddah, when you justify your sinful path.

You don't.

Buddah taught people how to live. He doesn't forgive sins.

Buddah said, His teachings would only be good for about 500 years. On his deathbed, he also told his two closest chelas, He still hadn't found the truth...

Buddah pointed the way to Jesus; and The Holy Ghost forbade the Apostles to preach the Word of God in Asia.

About 500 years after Buddah said those things...

Jesus came, saying, I am the way, the truth, and the life.

Choose life. You need to have your sins forgiven.

RE: Perhaps we need to keep an eye on India and Pakistan shooting down planes

I didn't read this stuff, until after you accused me of not being reasonable or logical...

I only knew the basics of Buddhist philosophy; but it was only logical to comprehend, the laws of Karma will leave people who kill people, and people who send people to kill people, going backwards and being reincarnated as beasts...

Even if Kubla Kahn appointed the Dahli Lama, neither of them are above karma; and you aren't either.

You call yourself a Buddhist; and Buddah has declared your fate in his eyes.

RE: Would You Rather Have A Shelter Dog Or Pedigree

The American Bulldog is like a Pitbull; but their accepted weight begins at 80 pounds, and they can weigh over 180 pounds.

That's what the Marines are using for their new mascot.

I read, Bite sleeves that could take bites from German Shepherds for a year... an American Bulldog can ruin with one bite, and bruise the arm that was inside of the sleeve.

Pit Bulls may have the strongest bite for dogs that weigh between 30-80 pounds; but there's really mean, hard biting dogs, in areas that used to be behind the iron curtain.

Dogs that were bred by natural selection. Flock guardians who didn't even get a collar, till they killed their first wolf. Dogs that were known for being able to take the stoutest Crusader off of his horse. Dogs that are effective protectors of their sheep, against bears. Dogs that thrive in environments that'd kill a Pit Bull. Dogs that can easily kill a man.

Dogs whose owners won't call them off, if you're walking near their farms; because they don't wanna ruin a good dog.

Ancient breeds of war dogs. Bigger, stronger, meaner, and healthier, than any dogs we have in the "West."

RE: Would You Rather Have A Shelter Dog Or Pedigree

A Pit Bull that comes with it's own training treat!

Pit Bulls are the smartest dogs on earth. Most dog breeds stopped being subjected to natural selection 100 years ago. Many breeds stopped being bred by natural selection 500 years ago.

To survive this long, Pit Bulls had to be smart enough to fight bulls, bears, lions, and they've even had to fight elephants!

Not only that; but any Pit Bull that bit a man while it was in the pit, was immediately killed; and their genes were kept out of the gene pool.

Many people think Border Collies are the smartest dog on earth. They're the most obedient breed; but Pit Bulls are more intelligent.

I used to breed Old Family Red nose Pit Bulls. The one that won a first place blue ribbon in obedience at an AKC event, against a Bouvier, a Malanois, and a Standard Poodle, wasn't even among the top 5 best Pit Bulls I bred.

After 9 generations, I quit breeding Pit Bulls; because you need at least 5 or 6 dogs in your yard to be a serious breeder; but it's hard to have 5 or 6 Pit Bulls without one of them wanting to kill another one...

As far as a shelter pick, that'd be sterilized, and never be able to breed...

I've trained dogs that were motivated by praise, and food, and toys; but I never got to train a dog that was motivated by the love of another dog!

A Pit Bull who loved a little dog would be a blessing to just about anybody who was lucky enough to find them.

RE: Would You Rather Have A Shelter Dog Or Pedigree

This is true; but I'd rather raise one dog at a time.

As soon as you give into the dog that won't leave without it's friend, that dog is alpha over you.

Good luck extracting yourself from that situation. You'll probably need to seperate them for training anyway.

After you've got one trained, it's much easier to train a pack! The dog you trained does most of the work.

RE: Would You Rather Have A Shelter Dog Or Pedigree

Getting a dog for free, can easily cost you more than a pedigree dog.

My friend got two dogs from the shelter... the vet bills on one of them cost over $10,000!

I paid $1000 for pick of the litter from a batch of pedigree American Bulldogs. He lived for 14 years, and never needed a vet.

I paid $750 for a pedigree Labrador Retriever. She's 11 years old, and never needed a vet.
Because she's pure Lab, I was able to place her in a good home, as a service dog, to a senior citizen, when she got too old to keep up with me.

Because I bought two pedigree dogs, I was able to register their pups as American Bulladors, with the National Hybrid Registry.

The American Bulladors I found online started at $900, when I bought my dog in 2004.

I sold my pups for $500 a piece, and paid for both parents with their first batch.

With what was leftover, they helped pay for 14 years of feeding and worming my $1000 dog.

When you get a shelter dog, you can save $940; but you're not as likely to get a properly bred dog, that was bred from healthy parents, to be healthy and live long lives, free from vet bills.

It costs just as much to feed a cute shelter puppy with birth defects that'll keep you paying vet bills: as it does to feed my dogs, that haven't needed a vet in 3 generations.

Not only those things; but even though my 14 year old dog died, I have 9 dogs representing 3 generations, that all have at least 50% of his genes.

I can produce pups that look and act like my dead dog that cost me $1000 in 2004, with 60% of his genes, for the rest of my life.

Because all my dogs were born in my house, and they're raised with kittens, I know exactly how they'll behave when they see cats. I know exactly what they're afraid of, and what makes them aggressive.

I never get surprised by a dog that was trained to chase cats; or by a dog that's afraid of cars, or any of the other bad behaviors shelter dogs can have...

If you've got an extra $10,000 for vet bills, you want to show love to a sickly dog, and your willing to spend a few hundred hours training bad behaviors out of it, get a shelter pup for $60.

Or you can... pick a breed of good dogs, find a breeder who's breeding old dogs that are still healthy, pay $1000 for a puppy that grows into a dog that's the size you expected, with traits you can bank on; and save $9000.

RE: till I see you again, means...

I shoulda' known better than to trust autocorrect to spell Hawaiian words correctly...

Good Morning in Hawaiian, is: Aloha kakahiaka.

RE: till I see you again, means...

In Hawaiian, the word, "Aloha," comes from the words, "alo" and "ha."

Alo, means: present.

Ha, means: breath, God's breath and our breath.

When our breath is present in us, we feel love towards every living thing.

This is why "alo" and "ha" make up the word... "Aloha."

Aloha means: Hello, Goodbye, and I love you.

It has the same meaning for family and strangers.

Aloha kekakihaka, means, Good morning.

Aloha nui loa, means: Aloha big and long. In English, it could be translated as, I love you very much.

Aloha ke Akua, means: God is presence of breath; which is translated in the Hawaiian Bible as, God is love.

Aloha oe', means: We'll never see eachother again.
