I moved to a black neighborhood without any prejudice when I was 12.
My black stepdad beat me mercilessly, borrowed the money I earned cleaning yards for soda bottles (for whiskey, wine, beer, and cigarettes) and never paid it back. He molested my sister, cheated on my mom and beat her too.
On the school bus, it was, "Go to the back of the bus white boy," etc, etc.
By the time I left home, I was asking God if black people were the devil.
If it wasn't for the fact that the best friend I ever had in my life was black... I'd probably be prejudice against black people.
Living in a Mexican neighborhood wasn't much better; but at least once they jump you into the gang, you're "one of them."
In Hawaii, I spent a while being treated like a "haole." Now, I usually get called "uncle," or "brother."
Everybody has a reason to be prejudiced. Everybody has a reason to forgive...
Actually, even though I have blond hair and blue eyes... I don't like living around too many white people.
I live in the most diversely populated populated place I could find; and my best friends, are my friend's based on the content of their character.
2 pure breeds when bred together, are known as hybrids. Mules, ligers, and labradoodles are all hybrids. A third purebred dog mixed in with a hybrid labradoodle, is a mongrel. If you're black and German, your a hybrid. If you're Irish, Norweigen, and German like me... You're a mongrel.
