RE: Mistletoe or wine?

Mistletoe gives you the opportunity to drink wine, with women you'd've never met without the mistletoe...

RE: Does God have your life story wrote down?

According to The Bible, we existed in God's book, before he made us. Psalms 139:18.

After scientists thought they proved how ridiculous and superstitious that sounds, with "the fossil record..."

The BBC put out a video on quantum physics, "Do We Really Exist?" In that video they claim, the odds are billions to one against us existing in physical bodies.

Then they espoused the theory that we only exist in a computer , as memory!

So, after many of us accept that it's not possible for us to exist in a book... They try to convince us that we only exist in a computer?

RE: What indoor games do you like to play? ;)

I scored a solid cork dart board for free! I thought they'd be popular enough in Ireland to make that list.

But what I really want is... the marbles I lost!

Those marbles we used for sling shot ammo cost big bucks now! and ya gotta buy enough for your friends to play now days too.

RE: What indoor games do you like to play? ;)

I've been exploring 64 square board games from around the world.

In Hawaii you begin with every square filled, and take turns removing them, till one gets stuck: it's called konane.

The Greeks and Romans played it, on an empty board. The object is to get 5 in a row.
It's called Quinto.

We all know Chess and Checkers.

Tic Tac Toe can be played on it.

It must have very old roots. Just about every culture has a form of it.
Most can be played with 64 squares.

Some use more than 64, Sudoko and Chinese Checkers are related to it.

The hardest part is finding people willing to try them all. At least I can always find a konane player in Hawaii; but, I never won yet.

RE: Christmas Songs, you don't like!!

Exactly! It's Christmas songs I don't like.

RE: were you taught predudice against any race or religion as a child?pick most revelant answer to you.

I was taught to be prejudice by black people
"Go to the back of the bus "white boy;" but I overcame their hate.

RE: Thin skinned Trump doesn't like criticism

Yep, that's why he's suiing voters.
He's tired of hearing about how he lost the election; and got picked by a rigged system.

RE: why wont women message me?

Because you look 16?

RE: Wanna Get Away?... Escape to Ireland

My family already escaped from Ireland, over the British royals; they're at least as bad as Trump.

RE: Wanna Get Away?... Escape to Ireland

There's way too many islands in the tropics, to live on one that requires wearing shoes.

RE: What is the legacy of POTUS Barack Hussein Obama?

He's less divisive than Trump, and nobody's accused him of raping a 13 year old girl.

RE: When is an age difference too much?

Would you rather meet her, fall in love with her, and see how ashamed she is of you everytime you look into her eyes?

RE: What is you favourite wine ?

Last year I made apple/ghost pepper mead with less honey.

It tastes like a dry white wine; and my neighbor loves it.

I really like the sweet pomegranate mead better; and it's stronger. ;)

RE: What is you favourite wine ?

I can't quote on this phone, or see anybody's name if it's not in a quote box.

For the guy who's interested... by adding so much honey to pomegranate juice... The alcohol content is so high, I was unable to measure it with the hydrometer; because the mix was so dense.

It's a very strong and sweet honey wine called, "mead."

It's written about in our most ancient literatrue... Persian cuniform, the Hindu Vedas, Eutruscian writings, Homer wrote about it.
They found Midas' castle with so many vessels of grape mead, they believe his legendary gold was mead; and mead is also in the Viking's Poetic Eddas.

The word is so old, it's almost exactly the same in every language.

I read so much about it; but never found it in a store: so I made it.

I think that some of the oldest mead was made with pomegranate juice.

There's lots of sites online with mead recipes. I recommend using one with more honey.

RE: can anyone see feelings?

What are the odds that somebody who can't see that other people have feelings, are hurting somebody's feelings.. and have no guilt or remorse?

RE: can anyone see feelings?

Isn't somebody who can't see that other people have feelings, the definition of a sociopath?

RE: the power of the tougue and words

Nice thread.

God created our universe with words.
God also created us in his image, and told us repeatedly how powerful our words are.

I can't think of any religion or philosophy that believes our words have no power.

They used to bust the teeth of witches, so they couldn't pronounce the words in the spells which were so important to their beliefs.

Dr. Emoto's done experiments with the effects of words on water crystals; and because our bodies contain about as much water as cooked rice... he did the same experiment with cooked rice.

You can find Dr. Emoto's rice experiment on YouTube, duplicated by people from all over the world.

RE: The people has spoken, Trump our new Leader, Part 2

The people have spoken.
Over 2 million more of US voted against Trump; and he's got lawsuits pending; because ( just like G.W.) he doesn't want US to know how many people have spoken against Republican president, since the Kennedy coup.

RE: What is you favourite wine ?

5 packs of yeast too.

RE: What is you favourite wine ?

I really like the last batch of mead I made.
2 gallons of honey
6 gallons of pomegranate juice.
14 vanilla beans
1/2 cup of lavender flowers
10 cardamom seeds

I put them in a carboy last June.
There was so much honey the hydrometer floated above the scale, up to the directions.
That means, there's no way to tell how strong it is.
The alcohol content is literally off the charts.

RE: The van Allen belt

Submarines?

RE: Would you date someone from a different race/religion/culture?

Another race or culture, no problem.
Nobody can choose what race or culture they're born into.
I won't date a woman who's a different religion...

RE: The van Allen belt

Very few boats sail in 25 mph winds... if the average breeze was just a few miles an hour faster, we wouldn't be flying or sailing.

RE: The van Allen belt

The distance between the sun and earth is pretty trippy too.
A little closer and our oceans would be boiling, a little farther and earth would be like Antarctica.

RE: Questions No One Can Answer

How come the 1st Amendment guarantees US the right to free speech...

But, the 14th Amendment says: "The The he validity of the public debt ... shall not be questioned?

RE: Questions No One Can Answer

How can you tell a country boy from a city boy?
By the way they cross the street.

RE: What is a mongrel ?

If homo sapiens are the first "real humans," well... The purest homo sapiens live in sub-Saharan Africa.

The rest of the world is mixed with neanderthals.

RE: What is a mongrel ?

An interesting result that comes from applying the words mongrels, and DNA to humans...
Homo sapiens are generally cconsde
