Here you admit to making a statement; but in your last post, you claimed that you only asked a question...
You began by agreeing with my interpretation of what you wrote, then you denied making a statement and claimed you only asked a question, now you claim you made a statement again...
When you're trying to convince me that you didn't say what you said, and said what you didn't say, then changing your mind when it suits you...
That's manipulation!
Even if we count your emoticon as a question mark, you didn't just ask a question.
In spite of the fact you tried to manipulate the facts, and claim that you only asked a question.
I clicked on your thread to say, I've changed a lot; but then I noticed what you said about our personality being established by the time we're 5...
I went from being a workaholic, to going over 4 and a 1/2 years without using any money at all.
I went from being a fast talking city boy, to being a quiet man who lives so far from a town, that I sometimes fall asleep in the middle of the road I live on while stargazing; and nobody ever woke me up from sleeping on my road.
But, as far as my basic personality: my Mom told me she knew when I was 5, I'd never be a 9-5er; and I'd never get married; and she was right.
In the movie, the defended a wide place in front of the pass.
The movie was just propaganda, designed to get young boys to sign up for a fight with Iraqis, Afghans, Iranians, and other Muslim nations that were once part of the Persian empire.
It made the Persians look like beasts, and glorified the dumbasses that were too stupid to protect themselves in the narrow pass.
I wonder how many of our children died in combat, from trying to act like a movie Spartan?
Well... the children of Israel carry a book, that glorifies Gentiles as being the first people God visited.
Look at how they prayed to Gentiles...
Moses prayed to the priest of Midian...
Numbers 10:31 And he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; forasmuch as thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou mayest be to us instead of eyes.
And the tribe of Joseph still couldn't find the entrance to Bethel (The House of God), until after Joshua died of old age, without praying to a Gentile.
But, just as Moses couldn't enter the promised land, Joshua couldn't enter Bethel.
Judges 1:24 And the spies saw a man come forth out of the city, and they said unto him, Shew us, we pray thee, the entrance into the city, and we will shew thee mercy.
So... as you can see, while you claim to not believe the book, you're giving answers to it that are wrong.
John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
John 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Jude 1:25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
Acts 3:13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.
1 John 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
Jesus is also the mighty God, and the everlasting Father.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
God purchased our souls with his own blood...
Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
All the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily in Jesus...
Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Psalms 19:1-3 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
That doesn't mean we never sin...
Mark 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
Luke 18:19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
Romans 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
