RE: Irish UFO,S

Yes, and we want reparations.

RE: Has anyone purchased tickets for Eurovison Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv?

I'm boycotting Israel.

In support of the people, The Bible says, were living there first; and still live there, unto this day...

As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day. Joshua 15:63

And the children of Benjamin did not drive out the Jebusites that inhabited Jerusalem; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Benjamin in Jerusalem unto this day. Judges 1:21

RE: Do you ever drink alone?

That's why I quit drinking, Mad Dog (Mogan David) 20/20, when I was 20.

Buying a bottle of that, is like buying a ticket to jail, with side order of black eye.

RE: Do you ever drink alone?

Never enough to get drunk; but I like drinking strong sweet mead (which I'm sipping now); apperidently, more than most of my friends... but, I don't appreciate Budweiser like they do.

RE: Has Anyone Had Their Sternum Cut open???

No wonder you were so grumpy back then.

I'm glad you made it.

Now... come to the light Conrad. You understand reasoning fallacies as well as everyone here.

Try using your knowledge for good; and avoid using red herrings and other reasoning fallacies, to obfuscate subjects you disagree with.

RE: Atheist's Algorithm

I don't perceive any oak trees.

They don't exist anywhere near Hawaii; and I vaguely remember seeing pictures of them.

In fact, after all the hurricanes and fires, I don't believe there's any oak trees left on earth.

So, maybe the nun was right; and you're not really perceiving a tree.

The God I perceive, exists in everything and we exist in him, before and after me; therefore, the God you're talking about, doesn't exist; and I'm not sure you exist either.

I have no evidence of your existence, except a screen, that I percieve in my brain, and could be according the The BBC's, "Do We Really Exist," only a computer program.

Since I'm seeing all evidence of your existence, on my phone... the BBC might be right...

The only reason I have for believing, you exist at all; is because, I'm being charitable; and trying to see, and believe, God is in you; and if that's true, this statement can't be right...

RE: Atheist's Algorithm

That's wrong.

All of these things existed before you and without you...
The quality of a tree can change according to the perceiver...

But you receive your perceptions from the same source as the rest of us; and since we can all be here after you're dead... you didn't create the tree.

It's common, to feel the creator living in us; and think that we're the creator: but, we're the creation. He exists in us; and we exist in him; but, he existed before and without us. We don't exist without him.

For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
Acts 17:28

RE: Unlike the disbarred bubba Clinton....

A red herring is something that misleads or distracts from a relevant or important issue. It may be either a logical fallacy *or a literary device that leads readers or audiences towards a false conclusion.* Wikipedia

RE: Unlike the disbarred bubba Clinton....

The last one I saw, was post #13.

RE: Atheist's Algorithm

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God,
so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Hebrews 11:3

RE: Unlike the disbarred bubba Clinton....

Thanks again for your emoti response Comrad.

I always appreciate knowing that you have a condescending attitude, but lack the ability to debate anything I say.

Red herring merchant.

RE: Who would you like to bath on the forums?

That's one way to clean her up, for your first date...

I'm just thanking God, that any woman who kisses Pedro, can't get to Hawaii the same day.

I don't do, clean up crew.

RE: Atheist's Algorithm

Thank you for explaining why I said...

Using the same standard of proof they'd demand to prove the existence of God, nobody can prove "atheists" exist.

RE: Unlike the disbarred bubba Clinton....

Trump's too stupid and immoral, to pass the bar exam.

He inherited his money, went bankrupt a bunch of times; and if he wasn't profiting so much from the Russians giving him loans and supporting him, and 304 members of the Electoral College appointing him president, after he lost the election: he'd die in poverty or prison.

RE: Atheist's Algorithm

Here's how stupid people who demand proof of God are...

There's no such thing as an "atheist."

Using the same standard of proof, they'd require to prove the existence of God...

Nobody can prove "atheists" exist.

RE: Is there a GOD???

Why wouldn't I be polite?

I was sure we'd agree on my main point, with a few questions; and the God who was here before us, isn't done revealing himself to you yet...

We're supposed to beat our swords into plowshares; and I'm a gardener, not out for blood.

RE: Favorite board game to play

I was born into 3 generations of fortune tellers; and when I asked the Tarot cards, What spirit controls them...?

It scared me.

I only touched them once after that, for my Dad, who was trying to teach me more about them: and got the same cards for my Dad, that I got for myself...

My Dad quit using them after that reading, too.

RE: Is there a GOD???

Cool, "God existed before us."

We agree on that.

RE: Is there a GOD???

How do you get a living thing, without energy existing first?

RE: Favorite board game to play

Have you asked it, what spirit controls your hands, when you use it?

RE: Is there a GOD???

How do you get mass or matter, without energy?

I never said it was...

But you can't have mass or matter, without energy.

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Hebrews 11:3

RE: Favorite board game to play

A few other things I believe predate the flood, are mead; because it's almost exactly the same word all over the globe.

Lungis, or sarongs; because there's so many words for 4'×6' woven garments, in so many places...

And unsewn garments; because they're so highly valued in most religions on earth.

RE: Is there a GOD???

E=mc2

RE: Favorite board game to play

I love to study things that predate the great flood; and going by the many places that are isolated from each other, and the many different ways games are played on them: I believe 64 square board games qualify...

In ancient Greece and Rome, they played quinto, where the object is to isolate 5 pieces.

In Hawaii, we have konane, where you begin with the board full, and the first person unable to move, loses...

We also have chess, checkers, boards made in the ground and left on uninhabited islands without instructions, and checker board patterned artwork...

I bought a chess and checkers board, and enough for 32 pieces each, of black and white glass.

That's my favorite board game.

RE: Is there a GOD???

:)

RE: Is there a GOD???

Why?

RE: Is there a GOD???

Chris is Greek.

Nobody was talking about wise Kiwis.

RE: Is there a GOD???

Why?

RE: Is there a GOD???

From the guy who spends so much time bragging about Greek words, used in the English language...

So much for Greek wisdom...

RE: Is there a GOD???

I agree with your opinion of people who are dismissive of older religions, and their not being intelligent...

There's only one God.

The God of the Jews, visited the Gentiles first-

Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name. And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, -Acts 15:14,15

We can find prophecies of Jesus, in every religion...

That's why we celebrate Jesus ressurection on Easter.

That's why an Ethiopian priest told Moses to teach Israel laws...

When Jethro, the priest of Midian... Exodus 18:1

Hearken now unto my voice... And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt show them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do. -Exodus 18:19,20

That's why Buddah said, His teachings should only be good for about 500 years, about 500 years before Jesus was born; and why he said, He still hadn't found the truth, about 530 years before Jesus said this-

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

That's why Jesus was born of a virgin, to fulfill Vedic prophecies.

That's why so many cultures have flood legends.

And that's why Jesus never wore sewn garments...

As a sign to; Hindus, Buddhists, Ancient Chinese religions and mythology, Ancient Japanese religions and mythology, Muslim and pre-Muslim Arabic religions, Greek and Roman religions, all wear unsewn garments in their temple worship...

Our oldest gospel, is hidden in unsewn garments; and sewing obscures the message!

And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. Luke 2:12

Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout. John 19:23

And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, Matthew 27:59

As far as ancient religions being unintelligent, our oldest binary computer is woven cloth. There's many ways of encoding messages in cloth; and the first use of punch cards was for weaving.

Woven cloth predates the alphabet by, well... homo hidelbergensis had it.

Which is why women's work, made them the keepers of our history, religious traditions, and gave them the name, "Wise Women."

"According to Roberto Milán Bueno in Diseño Textil Nativo Boliviano the Spanish conquerors, suspecting that the woven designs contained hidden messages that could be transmitted between communities, forced the indigenous people to adopt the Spanish style of dress so that the woven vocabulary would be forgotten."

"Origin
Almost all mythologies and beliefs of the world contain images and symbols of weaving. The Primordial Great Weaver is the creator of the universe, weaving on his Loom of Life the fates of all that exists. All the goddessess of Fortune and Time are spinners and weavers. The Weaver is also the Cosmic Spider, who weaves the thread of life from his own substance, attaching to himself via umbilical cord all the world's people and intertwining them into the web of the world's designs.
