I love sleeping outside in the fresh air...There's a beautiful hiking trail that I regularly went to in Ireland, and it has gorgeous views by day.
But get the right night in the falling stars month, August, and that's when it really comes into it's own.
You can see every star that's up there. It's like the sky is a diamond encrusted canopy..streaked through by the broad brush stroke of the milky way, the constellations and you can even hear the jet stream thundering along like its a train in the far far distance...and right beside you the gentle trickle of the stream fed by the mountain rain ..and if you're lucky you might find a piece of gold in the stream; which is probably why there's a very old neolithic fort in the fork of the stream..
That's where I'd love to sleep with my future partner....
This side of the Atlantic grit is used to provide grip on the roads when it's very icy...or the stuff you'd sweep off the driveway...definitely not edible
I actually cracked open an egg once and it literally was green (yoke and white)...a kind of transluscent green. Thinking it was a one off I opened another one...and same again. I was 15 at the time and I've never seen that another one since...weird huh?
I watched the video, fair play to him, we could certainly do with a lot more people like him (sorry,,,ye) . Glasgow here is a lovely city, it's full of gorgeous tree lined streets, but venture out of the better areas where residents do their bit and there's rubbish and litter everywhere, it's so bad it's jaw dropping.
