A loser In which does not gain.
A loser sad and insaine.
Wishes for love but only gets pain.
Heart torn and burned to a crisp.
I only have a dieing wish.
To feel would be great but not the same.
I have tar and hate that runs through my vien.
Until the end a failure condemmed. People will pay their awful dedt.
One the whole world will regret.
Push a man to fail so, soon he will let them know.

A Native American elder once described his own inner struggles in this manner: Inside of me there are two dogs. One of the dogs is mean and evil. The other dog is good. The mean dog fights the good dog all the time." When asked which dog wins, he reflected for a moment and replied, 'The one I feed the most'.

maybe alot of you wonders why how I can smile so often! Well if you all knew half of my life you'd wonder why I still smile! I didn't for a long time, then one day I decided it's not worth livin in the past. I chose to rise above it an let it go. . . . to allow the real me to be. It's been a cobblestone road here. . .yes. Whats important is how I walk ahead, as it creates my future. :) these same thoughts are yours:) an i'm sharing some good one's to help you get off the cobblestone. . . . .

It seems longer,
time spent without you.
It seems empty,
my life without you
Your smile and laugh,
an imprint on my soul.
What is life without a goal,
like a bird without wings.
My heart yearns and sings,
for the presence your life brings.

I'm darkness,
I'm crying with sunrise
Every day.
My tears
Fill your hopeless dreams
With blind faith.
I would be happiness
But I'm dying in your heart
Every day.
My death
Fills your fast life
With purpose.
I would be stairs,
As high as you could fall down
Every day.
My height
Forces you to get up,
To get your way.
I'm your mind,
And being so poor I teach you
Every day.
My spirit
Fills your thoughts
With sense to be human

I have never been especially impressed by the heroics of people who are convinced they are about to change the world. I am more awed by those who struggle to make one small difference after another.

For The Name Of A Simple Poet
If my simple poetry is to be accepted by my peers
it must be soon, for surely my life's extinction nears.
It is not from melancholy or self sorrow that I speak,
more simply though that time and death's truth will peak.
Making me breathless once too often in my nightly sleep,
when the restless reaper reminds us our fate cannot keep.
As well they knew, those who have written in the past
writing in their genius writings, earth life must be cast.
But what of me? I cannot see past the quickening hour,
I pray, for I fear my thoughts, that I am not sickly sour.
I spoke of fate before, perhaps that is the answer sought
that we cannot alter that in which we are fatally caught.
Is death the ultimate consciousness for our ultimate sin
of discovering thought, sidestepping natural evolution?
Should I meekly, without resolve, accept the deafness
to my thoughts, of which my uneducated words express?
Am I to be discovered, cleverly, in a hundred years or so
when the cycle turns and my poetry takes on a stylish glow?
I of the great Celtic races of the north cannot lay me down
without a fight, yet I ask not to be given poetry's top crown.
In my exasperation I ask my peers to simply accept that
time I fear runs out for me to be named simply, a poet!

Hold fast to dreams,
For if dreams slip away
Life becomes work not play.
Hold fast to dreams,
For when dreams are left in the dark
Life becomes a burden and a treacherous
Journey, which we must embark.
Dreams are your sails
And life is your boat
Secure them tightly
And stay afloat.

A winter wind walks briskly passed
My open eyes and cold, lonely hands
Bringing with it these frozen tears
Of the angels
And these silenced years
Many times have come to pass
Growing up has gone by so fast
And these eyes have seen horrors and joy
Love and honesty in their greatest glory
Friends come and go
But family is forever
And all the seas and shallow waters
Can't keep me forever
My heart burns for the comfort of home
And the girl I call my friend
Her eyes hold my heart
In the palm of their hand
The snow comes now
Freezing time in all it's wonder
And i stand speechless on the sidewalk
And realize just like the snow
Life is beautiful
And is falling all around me
