Sift

S I F T

Time to sift
Time to grow
Time to graduate
Time to let go

So much inside
That doesn’t sift through
Can’t poke the holes
So it goes away

These are feelings
You’ll always remember
These intense moments

It depends on you
If you want to let go
Still trying to reach out
And touch their hands

Such soft fingers
That float out in space
Longing the touch of
Something not tangible

The yearning to reach
Something greater than you
The agony, the sorrow
Of something you cannot change

The feelings flow out
Through the symbol of tears
Why did God give us
These tears that express

Feelings unlimited
Make you cry in excess
You can’t stop the tears
You can’t stop the stress

It’s so hard to let go
And so there you cling on
Letting feelings take over
Like an avalanche of snow

You can’t let it sift through
You can’t let it just flow
There’s no price to pay
To just letting it go

Faith

A Creed For Those Who Have Suffered
I asked God for strength, that I might achieve.
I was made weak, that I might learn to humbly obey...
I asked for health, that I might do greater things.
I was given infirmity, that I might do better things...
I asked for riches, that I might be happy.
I was given poverty, that I might be wise...
I asked for power, that I might have the praise of men.
I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God...
I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life.
I was given life, that I might enjoy all things...
I got nothing I asked for - but everything I had hoped for.
Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered.
I am, among men, most richly blessed!

~It's ok to be Wrong ~

crumbled to the floor I fell mind created livin hell, how'd it be wrong, i'm always right, it's not me who did it ur wrong cause i'm right, the problem with you's it's all black an white you know ur wrong cause i'm always right, seem's you've got issues never resolved i'm always right when ur involved, you twist it around an put it to me, i'm always right when we disagree, you spell it out to me so logically if it's not you, you think that it's me, right fighter's mind. . . . . do you agree? HE WALKS WITH ME

HE WALKS WITH ME
Give me the courage I believe in prayer
As I walk this valley that is dark and deep
I pray to the heavens to feel Gods touch
For he gave his life’s blood to save me from sins
My Lord my Jesus my one true friend
Oh the power the power of God up above
The power of God and the love of his son
Breaking the power that lives deep in side
Satin looks on oh how he tried
If I gave him my soul I knew I’d be lost
But God and his angles where always near by
To protect and guide me from all satin’s lies
Like the rush of the sea that Jesus walked in
His power I felt as I stumbled and fell
Then under the blood as I took Jesus’ hand
I surrendered my soul to the almighty above
I surrender to God I give him my praise
As satin is sent to the depth down below
I surrender my love my heart and my soul
For god will protect me wherever I go

"Falcon an the Falconer"

shadowed ground like a phoenix appears his falcon, companioned now six years, falcons sensed for a time now lesser bond, falconer unaware as he continues to seek falcons constant return, daily he tests falcon to see if he'll fly away..... three years ago his first falcon never came back. . . . he'd never got past that, he'd not seen yet falcon offered more loyalty than first, yet he continued daily tests of falcon's devotion to him, slowly falcon tired an took flight....
