President Trump's masterly counter-move against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was not only an expert power play against the Speaker's bid to take the television set away from him at the State of the Union, it drew attention to something that doesn't get much attention, the fact that she's got some Imelda Marcos-style spending habits in state-financed travel.
According to the Daily Caller, citing Judicial Watch:
Pelosi’s trip to Italy and Ukraine from July 30 to Aug. 6, 2015, cost the Air Force $184,587.81, according to documents released Saturday under a 2015 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit by Judicial Watch. Her delegation was made up of nine other members of Congress, including Democratic Reps. Anna Eshoo of California and Marcia Fudge of Ohio.
Four family members, including Pelosi’s husband Paul Pelosi, were on the trip. The delegation dined at restaurants including James Beard American Restaurant in Milan, where a five-course meal cost up to $190, according to Fine Dining Lovers. The lawmakers also toured the Vatican and met up with Italian dignitaries, including President Sergio Mattarella and then-Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, according to their itinerary.
It gets worse. According to Judicial Watch itself:
Beginning in 2009, after the media failed to follow up on concerns raised about Nancy Pelosi’s use of luxury Air Force jets to travel between her congressional district and DC, Judicial Watch’s Freedom of Information act requests exposed her abuse of this travel perk. Judicial Watch uncovered that Pelosi’s military travel cost the United States Air Force $2,100,744.59 over one two-year period — $101,429.14 of which was for in-flight expenses, including food and alcohol.
The black “activists”, emotionally emboldened by witnessing children in red MAGA hats, directed their verbal abuse on the assembling group of kids. Some of their sentiments included:

Threatening injury to a man on a hoverboard

Despite the hateful rhetoric directed at them, the boys are now being held to higher standards than the adults that are indisputably provoking them, and they behaved admirably. While they misread the atmosphere when the Native American group approach them as being friendly and continued to dance and call out their High School’s prideful chants, they quickly realized the awkwardness of the situation when the Native American elder singled out one of the MAGA-hat wearing teens and put himself inches from the young man’s face beating a drum.
The crime the mainstream media is claiming occurred? The teen assaulted the man with his smile.
Hours of footage, from the livestream of one of the black Israelites and cell phone footage from bystanders show that the boys came, assembled as instructed to await their buses, and left without any of the cruel mocking they have been accused of (unless you consider popular Fortnite dances cruel mockery). Their entire presence is recorded nonstop and never is “Build the Wall” heard despite the media quoting it as if true.
Philips, the Native American, lied intentionally to slander these young boys and to seem himself the victim when it was he that approached and entered the personal space of the child until the teen left. He used the momentum of attention to preach a political stance saying that indigenous people existed for “millennia” on this land with no walls. Representative Adam Schiff took to Twitter to spread this “wisdom”, but in respect to accurate history, a simple google search can find photos of hundreds of ancient ruins of border walls built by Native Americans that are still standing.

According to a brand new Rasmussen poll, President Trump’s approval numbers have now climbed back to 46%, near the highest of his presidency. And all the other polls have now reflected the bump: the NBC/WSJ poll over the weekend shows Trump at an all-time high of 45%. That poll also showed that just 53% of Republicans approved of Trump’s behavior at his meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Helsinki — but that didn’t matter much to their overall approval of him, which is nearly universal (88%).
What’s bolstering Trump’s high approval rating? The NBC/WSJ poll suggests that Trump’s economic record is his biggest asset: 50% of Americans like the way he’s handling the economy. 51% dislike the way he has handled Putin overall, 58% disapprove of his immigration policy, and 53% disapprove of his tariff policy.
But there’s something else that has happened, too: Trump’s approval rating has been remarkably stable since long before he was president. He began his presidency at nearly the same number he now occupies; during the election cycle, he hovered in the low-40s as well. News coverage simply doesn’t touch Trump, because everything is baked in. There’s nobody in America who doesn’t have a personal opinion or take on Trump. He’s become the political equivalent of the Super Bowl: the thing everybody watches and talks about.
And that means that new information doesn’t change the math.
What does change, however, is the impact Trump has on Congressional elections. Republicans aren’t nearly as priced-in as Trump. That means that when Trump does something unpopular, Congressional Republicans bear the brunt in the polls. So, for example, at the beginning of June, before the latest round of hubbub, Democrats led Republicans in the generic ballot by 3 points; now that number is 7.4%, according to RealClearPolitics.
That’s actually not unique to Trump. President Obama retained high approval ratings throughout his time in office, because everyone had an opinion about him. But his actions reflected far more on his Congressional Democrats than on Obama himself, which is why Democrats experienced heavy losses across the country. All of which suggests that some caution is in order before Republicans declare victory thanks to Trump’s solid approval ratings: the variability in our national polls no longer seems to apply to presidential approval ratings nearly as much as to Congressional approval ratings. That’s because we’ve now used the presidency as a proxy for all of our partisanship, and we seem to reserve our more nuanced political judgment for Congressional races, where the stakes of going out to vote are lower and seemingly less fraught.
An Illinois state Democratic lawmaker is facing increasing pressure to resign after she called for the deaths of a Republican lawmaker's family during a floor speech this week.
Democrat Rep. Stephanie Kifowit said she wanted to pump a "broth of Legionella" into Republican Rep. Peter Breen's water system so his wife and children would "be infected" and "ultimately die."
"I would like to make him a broth of Legionella and pump it into the water system of his loved ones so that they can be infected, they can be mistreated, they can sit and suffer by getting aspirin instead of being properly treated and ultimately die," Kifowit said in a fit of rage.
Kifowit's horrifying remark "came just before the Illinois House voted 71-36 to override Gov. Bruce Rauner’s amendatory veto of a bill to increase the cap the state pays in civil litigation cases from $100,000 to $2 million," The Chicago Sun-Times reported.
A few minutes after Kifowit's shocking statement, Republican Rep. Jeanne Ives came to Breen’s defense on the legislative floor.

NBC and other far-left outlets slammed President Donald Trump on Tuesday for being the first president since 2002 not to visit our troops around Christmastime. The "news" spread like wildfire online by the typical anti-Trump brigade.
But as has been the case so often with the mainstream media and Trump-haters (but I repeat myself), the report wasn't true.
President Trump not only called troops to wish them a Merry Christmas on Tuesday, he and First Lady Melania Trump took a secret trip to Iraq on Christmas Day so they could greet those serving our country in person.
"Trump's trip was shrouded in secrecy. Air Force One flew overnight from Washington, landing at an airbase west of Baghdad under the cover of darkness Wednesday evening," reported the Associated Press on Wednesday.
"President Trump and the First Lady traveled to Iraq late on Christmas night to visit with our troops and Senior Military leadership to thank them for their service, their success, and their sacrifice and to wish them a Merry Christmas," tweeted White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

A new poll reveals that very few Americans say that illegal immigration is not a problem.
A wide-ranging Economist/YouGov survey gauged the level of concern Americans have on the issue to find that only 7 percent of the overall public say illegal immigration is “not a problem”; 2 percent of Republicans, 7 percent of independents and even 12 percent of Democrats agree with the statement.
The philosophies of Locke and Blackstone, combined with the Magna Carta and the Bible, were what our Founders used to define the type of government they were creating... nothing has changed, except the gatekeepers of liberty and freedom.
We the People have become complacent and lazy over the last 160 years, to a point that by the early 1900's, the government inserted a slightly different agenda, and people started looking toward them for their liberties and freedoms. Liberty and Freedom comes from the Creator... they are natural, unalienable rights bestowed upon us at birth. Nobody gives them to you, you take them and make your life happen. Living responsible and self-reliant, while not infringing upon another's same rights, that's ALL there is to it.
A Progressively tyrannical government (that sounded amazing at first), started rescinding those natural rights, and when combined with that complacent citizenry; viola, we have what we have now, a co-dependent citizenry that accepts that the government allows them to carry a firearm to protect innocent lives. A government that has created over 300,000 statutes, the majority within those last 160 years, making it hard for any citizen to remain; “law-abiding”.
As we move forward into 2019, changes are taking place that creates more effective grassroots advocating. It's time We the People start looking to advocate for ourselves, so we can eliminate special interest groups doing it for us, behind a veil of secrecy! Time to study the founding documents, and ensure you know what they truly intended, instead of believing what the government tells you they intended. They have intentionally and successfully dumbed-down society, and force-fed them a watered down version of what the true intentions of our Founders were. For example:
