Botox pumping parties...
Every year or so I read a story about someone who had a bad reaction to Botox lip injections where they have puffed up lips that required surgery to correct. The one I saw this week was similar, but the woman was lucky and quickly received medical treatment. It took months for the Botox to dissipate and the swelling to go down. She was one of the lucky ones. Not so lucky was a woman who starred in a TV realty series. Her upper lip puffed up but I haven't seen any followup stories to see if the swelling went down. As far as I know the disfigurement was permanent.
She appears to be the 'poster child' for Botox injections gone wrong.

I don't remember ever seeing a person and saying, "gee, that person really needs someone to inject their lips with Clostridium botulinum toxin."
I hope whoever did that to her was sued.
The source of the Botox. Is it low grade, beyond shelf life?
Who administered the injections. A licensed dermatologist or was it a beautician at the local salon, or worse someone pretending to be a nurse or medical professional?
One story I read said the injection hit an artery on one of the women and spread through tissue in the area.
in my opinion you do this sort of thing "all care no responsibility"
you Americans seem obsessed with blaming someone else for your own stupidity
Joan Rivers and Phyllis Dyler come to mind.
