Snow !!!! No !!!!! Go !!!!

New Jersey is getting it's first snow of the season. sigh

Well, it's coming down only in the northwest corner of NJ on the mountains.
But, it's too damn early for snow. mumbling
Nonetheless, it's supposed to get down to 28 F. tomorrow night in my area
and they are forecasting snow for my area mid-next week. Darn !

It seems it is that again that time of year afterall. Summer really is over. crying

I guess I will begin to pack for my annual migration south to escape winter.
However, I won't leave yet, more likely sometime after Thanksgiving,
depending upon weather and natural gemstone jewelry sales.
Either way, I don't want to miss out on our annual Thanksgiving feast
with about 35 other family members......and growing.
That's always a blast ! applause

It's still pretty hot in the afternoon with scattered showers and 15mph winds.
Considering what you have there... I'm not complaining at all!
Yeah I'm with Chat. Enjoy the family Thanksgiving, I would wait on that too.
Yep, JN. As one of the highest taxed states, should be plenty of moolah for snow clearance. Of course, with corrupt dems in charge, who knows? And many republican governor led states have fuel asssiance programs for the poor. NJ?
yay yay Snow, I love it. I lived in New Jersey 75 of my 77 years. I moved to North Carolina two years ago and I hate it. New Jersey will always be home love North Carolina heat and humidity in addition to a host other things make me wish I could move back to NJ but I can't.

I saw on the news this morning that NJ is cold and going to get much colder overnight. Wish I was there sigh

This is what I miss

V - There are some things I do not like about FL.
For instance, they allow smoking in bars. Yuck !
And yeah, all the shoot your guns off whenever possible crowd,
who solidly support Trump no matter what he says or does.
I often leave notes on their MAGA boasting pick-up trucks
" 'Thanks' a lot for THE worst president in US history moron." laugh

The stand your ground law has not directly affected me.... yet.

S - Just goes to show, that everyone has different tastes.
I miss that too......by being in Florida. wave laugh
Why not do what I do, migrate back & forth between 2 states ?
I miss out on the oppressive FL summers and the freezing NJ winters.
Snow? That is something you go see then go back home where it's 75 degrees.
The odd part, is that I used to love snow, when I was a child.
It would result in school closings and all day sledding. applause laugh
