Oh honey I have had to turn on the air conditioner the last couple of days here. Everyone is in shorts and sandles.
Would take rain over this white stuff.
Very lucky to be in florida!

Viking thats freezing cold.
It was a very nice (for winter) sunny day here today with highs in the low 50's (F.)
I even hung laundry on a line outside today.
I've noticed an unusual number of robins still around.

We are supposed to get either rain or snow, or likely a mix on Saturday.
Probably won't be much accumulation. Back to you for sports. laugh
Sounds nice jim.thought u were off to florida?
Your storm is on it way down here to hit Thursday night. Still lots of snow in the local mountains and more snow to come. Went skiing AGAIN yesterday. Heard you ski too. Strap em on and make the best of it when the weather clears.thumbs up
Loh that is great that u are going skiing.i miss skiing but not being cold.
No. Not yet. Unfortunately, one of my softball coaches is dying of liver disease.
I volunteered to take over the team to ensure it doesn't fall apart.
So, I will TRY to get down there next month. But, it may be the first time
in many years, that I don't get down to FL.
Multiple people in FL are already e-mailing me, asking me where I am.
I have a league meeting again tomorrow night.
It was 85F in South Florida this afternoon and now (at midnight) 72F under clear skies.
Thats sad about your coach.hang in there.

BS, others.. Blog from winter, all?
But a bit on the ocean coast of Maine. Most, even southern folks from New England, think it's like the Arctic here. Actually, the Atlantic Ocean winds and currents do much to buffer the climate and weather. Delightfully sunny and warm extended summers (and gardening/sailing/hiking seasons), but never too hot for long. Eight glorious months each year. Winters actually mostly milder. Winter sports available inland at higher elevations. But some get away each winter for a bit. Portugal! Formerly Florida and the US SW, for us..

Hi Blue,
The entire weather community in South Africa has eyes on the mammoth #coldfront developing in the South Atlantic, this system, arriving Thursday, (today) promises to bring heavy rains and widespread snow to a great deal of SA and even #namibia if the system stays on track.
