Back to work...
I got a call yesterday from the owner of the company who offered me a sales position. He had a 'start back' meeting and wanted me to attend. The county enacted the phase one and many non-essential businesses are back in operation. It's masks, hand cleaner, shoe covers and alcohol wipes for us and be extra careful of where we go and what we do as all our actions now are viewed with a different eye. Getting in and out of condo security may change now that everyone will be wearing masks. One (masked) woman came to the showroom looking to renovate 2 bathrooms and I'll see her on Friday. Another appointment was also scheduled for me on Friday.
Extended vacation is over... it's back to work!

I wish you the very best of luck. If you do as told, I think all will be well. You will feel a bit odd for a while but I am sure you will slip back in to the routine.
I did enjoy the time off and didn't feel imprisoned from the stay-home order, mostly because I had some money in savings and didn't feel the stress like other folks with kids, car payments and a heavy mortgage.
I never want to work in sales (especially on commission only).
I could not sell a dog, if my life depended on it.
Well, the job will keep you busy and keep you off CS.
Are you willing to wager on that?
For some reason I thought that you retired.
Honestly, I had NO intentions of retiring but, I made a promise to make a change by age 70. We were working weekends for months to renovate my Miami house and my job responsibilities at the cabinet shop were getting bigger with no room for advancement or financial compensation. The house sold much quicker than I expected and I saw a window to coast for several months, travel and basically take a much needed break.
Travel plans got put on hold with no change in site.
News got out that I was 'available' so I accepted the offer.
Yes Fay, I retired.
One friend living 40 miles North of me in a gated community of single family houses reported of 187 homes, there were 4 cases and one of them died. No other details.
you don't really know the answer to that question.
Yesterday, I saw a worker with spray equipment going down the corridor in the condo behind me. He was applying a light spray on the walkway. That's a first.
I did not stopped working since this crises started. Left shoes outside and the outer clothings. And maintain the distancing.. You will get used. You will be fine. Everything will be, automatic.. Good Luck
This is an Ageist country. Being just coming up to 69th Birthday means I am too old to work part time or any time.
