There were 3 of us in a circle. My trivial argument was with Hank standing opposite to me. Hank was shorter and weaker than me and I knew I could subdue him in a short time without ourselves and anyone else getting seriously injured. The third party present, and furiously encouraging Hank to kill me, was my old enemy D!ck. D!ck and myself hated each other for no valid reason since Genisis chap 1.I swung at Hank and could see I hurt him with the punch. While all this was taking place D!ck was encouraging Hank to kill me in any way possible. So I took aim and punched Hank again and it was at this moment when D!ck placed a knife into Hanks hand and told him to kill me once and for all. Yes he stabbed me and before he could stab me again I pulled out my firearm and shot Hank between the eyes, I then aimed at D!ck. D!ck was pleading with me not to shoot him as it wasn't him that had stabbed me but Hank
Am I justified to shoot the supplier of the weapon that nearly killed me?
If D!ck hadn't supplied the knife I would not have been wounded and Hank would still be alive.
Who is the main culprit to this tragedy?
Well if I had shot D!ck, I would've been tried for murder and be found guilty as the law states I can only use my weapon if my life is threatened, which I did. So what will happen to the main instigator?
Not much. Civil case yes, in which he will probably say Hank asked him for the knife. My word against his.
Is this fair
Or would you just shoot him and hope that the court will have mercy on you?

two attackers of which you watched one arm the other as they accosted you. encouraging your death any way possible.
at this point, you would have now way of knowing if the other standing is still armed but you know your life is still in danger if it isn't stopped now.
should have taken out both. not sure if it's a growing up in the city thing or a military thing, sense of protection for my family thing. i would not have stopped at just one.
when you can acknowledge you're injured from an assault but no time to assess, instinct would have driven me to neutralize all threats then seek help.
the very first thing i would not do, is throw the first punch. it's self defense only if you had no other choice but physical confrontation and were attacked first. secondly, if there is any thing with a hint of getting out of control and stupid, it's time to go. maybe a better time and situation will have a better resolve.
even growing up in the city, as the defender, your grounds were much more solid. in the military, you follow orders, protecting your fellow brothers and sisters in combat as well as yourself. training is key towards fulfilling that goal the best you can.
at home, you have no place to run, you're already there. generally with family to protect as well. if some one invades, you have no idea what they have or will do. they've already forced entry or maybe refused to leave with other ideas of harm to you.
so? will you be up for manslaughter? aggravated assault? if you planned a confrontation with one and the other happened to be there, it just gets worse.
you are there knowing you're already armed. it doesn't bode well for any person in this situation if they have put themselves in such a scenario.

Dialogue would've could've worked.
And the more I'm reading the more Im convinced its a Proxy war. This is just my way of of proving something to MYSELF, as many wont see the comparisons.
