At least half of my day is made up or moments of appreciation. Cleaned and tidied the kitchen after all the tiling and painting and it is lovely to feel the clean floor underneath my bare feet.

That's what I tried telling an ex when she caught me bathing in cold cold water.

But really, you're blog is correct. When we are ill with a fever or some bad or poor condition, we think to ourselves how good it would be to just be back to normal, breathe normal and just go about everyday life.
