Saying nothing
If you can't say something nice, say nothing at all.I grew up with that one. I grew up before the internet. If I had nothing to say, nice or not, I said nothing and watched mammoths and sabre-tooths roaming past the cave mouth. We nodded politely at each other. It was peaceful.
Then came computers, emails, texts, Facebook, skype, iphones and CS blogs. Saying something became the most important thing in the world.
I've got nothing to say. But I'm doing my bit, I'm saying it.

I was told to always speak the truth unless that meant hurting someone.
Learnt over the years it was better sometime to avoid awkward questions, as the person asking might not like my answer.
I love the song "when you say nothing at all"
Good old days.
I swear by looking shocked and saying hey, look, isn't that Roger Moore? Thought he was dead!
Usually works.
Out you come, Lucy. All friends here.
I know.
Nice to see you back
I can never keep up on blogs and forums. I shall not address my answers to anyone from now on. Some may seem apt. Some may seem odd. Some may be responses to the voices in my head.
Be Done By As You Did.
talking about Roger Moore. You do look like Sean Connery.
Someone should have that cough seen to.
Sit down, tell Uncle Chrome all.
I find not many people do ask, so I really try to keep my mouth shut.
I do find some things about the new technology awkward. Someone wanted to meet you, they had to pick up the courage and ask for you phone number (and your parents to hand it to you). These days, they can make contact via FB, other social sites and I just ask myself, how the HECK did you get the idea that I could be thrilled to hear from you? Why not talk to me face to face when you actually had the opportunity?
Good to see a handsome face around here btw.
You do make blogging fun
