Trump and Ryan Tout Unity for the House

Published from CNN and last edited at 10:45 Thursday

"Washington (CNN)Donald Trump and House Speaker Paul Ryan concluded their highly anticipated meeting Thursday amid signals that the Republican Party will work to piece itself together after a fractious primary.

"While we were honest about our few differences, we recognize that there are also many important areas of common ground," Trump and Ryan said in a joint statement. "We will be having additional discussions, but remain confident there's a great opportunity to unify our party and win this fall, and we are totally committed to working together to achieve that goal."

I have always thought after listening so much from Russ Libaugh, Sean Hannity and Fox Bill O'Reily that this will be the result of the shaking of the GOP house.

Lo and behold the most anticipated meeting resulted in a very positive goal and that is to unite everyone to spear head the success of ousting the rule of the current socialist administration that has put us in this political predicament.

I knew that this is the only direction they can embrace in order to define the future of this country as unanimously declared by all the original 17 candidates now with only Trump remains standing to achieve that goal.

I am confident the people will all decide to put a new president in the coming November and that is the formidable and and indomitable Mr. Trump.

Thank you all for your reads and comments, if any.bouquet

Needs of the American people as represented by the phenomenal and unparalleled support given to Trump is an indication that he embodies that need, he represents that frustration and anger that has long been in the fiber of the constituents. We, the voters, American citizens and members of the Republican party find the response of our clamor to be achieved only by him and I am very confident that he will continue to work on accomplishing such actions that benefits all of the American people. I am hopeful.bouquet

....one thing I know about trump he played life's game of poker just right the guy ain't no joker his pockets are bright......teddybear
You're just awesome Leony. That is all I can say. You should keep writing poetry, too, besides here. They are most enlightening..teddybear bouquet

Thanks Leony, I hope my instinct is leading me to the right direction..
There were so many speculations long before this initial meeting that the house is going to be dismantled. That the original cons of the house will burst out and then replaced by the angry mobs.

The truth is that the people has spoken and it is time the establishment has to face and create a new structure responsive to the current needs without undermining the very principles of what our founders have envisioned.teddybear
Since they obviously held the meeting behind closed doors as usual WE the public have no idea how it actually went we only heard the words of the ones involved.
I think just to be safe CC. After all this is a very explosive endeavor if they are not careful. Judge Janine said: If the house wouldn't honor Trump then a revolution will possibly ensue because it is the people that is being ignored if they continued to act livid like Romney did.bouquet
For who's safety? I'm sure it wasn't for us the public.
For all of the Americans is what I say CC. Of they didn't come up with a united effort to keep the house intact, there would be a sure sign of restlessness that can entice revolution. At least that is what Judge Janine said. And I feel it too, the only way the people can be represented per the overwhelming votes is that to support him and endorse him.

But there will be many a meeting, I am sure that will follow if only to iron out differences. I am okay with that. bouquet Hoping for unity.

CNN assured us that the motion went fine with Unity as the primary goal for right now.
Leony my dear friend, teary eyed you put on me
I can't believe how beautiful you are

As much as life is your core to discuss
and I am on politics no doubt
I know the two works hand in hand
the connection is to the core of our livesteddybear
quote/CNN assured us that the motion went fine with Unity as the primary goal for right now./quote

So let me understand this now because CNN said the above comment that it's got to be so?

And who owns the media?
Well CC, I am only expressing what is said by them but I am sure CNN do exercise credibility, at least to my expectations. Now are you implying that CNN is not telling the truth that the two did evoked unity as their goal?dunno

Why would they lie CC, that unity is not their goal? I don't understand.

I do expect them to behave for the sake of the GOP house, which is not to be any different as to whoever will get the nomination.
I am surfing the news and all of them are recapitulating what was talked about in the meeting. They all seem to agree that unity is the most core of what they initially established. I am all for that. Then start restructuring their goals for the accomplishment of what they envision. I would say that is a very positive beginning. For them to accept what the people is telling them to do. After all it is a house that is of the people in principles. Is it not?
Without unity there will be no strength and it will erode the motivation of those in the bubbles to go out and change direction. frustrated
Since you ask lindsy I was able to prove that the media here in Ohio lies but I don't have the time to continue to repeat myself about it.
Robert, wave I understand your position and believe me, I was in a bubble for so long.

But having said all your points, it is the very reason that we do need to look and scrutinize what this country needs.

You differ as to your agenda is well etched with the Democrats and if anything is needed to be emphasized even just for the brim of the failure of this system is on health care. You might not be affected because you belong to the elite but for the majority of those that can't afford the system will work to make this program eliminated.

Now I will count on my hopes that he wins. But for you to say that he won't win, we will all find out and it is not for very long.wave
CC it is okay for you to discontinue the proof of wanting to persuade the news not to lie. I am listening to the minds of very intelligent and persuasive people on the media with the likes of Janine Pirro, the honorable judge and it is important for them to emphasize the need to unite.

I couldn't be happier. It is our goal, the hard working Americans to achieve unity before anything else.

Thanks for your input just the same.bouquet
This post is about establishing unity as most needed in the GOP house, not whether Trump will win or not. However, as hopeful as I've always been, I put my dollar that he will.handshake
The Republican Party has been in shambles for quite a while, but nothing like it will be if Trump is elected as President. If I was a betting person, I would bet if Trump is President, we will be in war within 6 months, if so, I predict it will be the last and final war for our country. With all the countries who hate the U.S, primarily because of the atrocities committed by Bush and his henchmen on Muslim communities, and the attitude by Trump towards those people , they will unite, and do their best to blast us of this earth. Enjoy life if you can, I guess it will be a short one. Kaisich should be the one to represent the Republican Party, he is the only one of the original 17 who were running, that has any sense and is down to earth. confused doh scold frustrated
Stude, well noted on your opinion. The people spoke and this country is all about people and not anybody. I am one of those people and by God, my decision is well represented. Kasich is part of the old problem but I can see how he distance himself from accountability and that too, represents a concern.
And of course, I am enjoying life as we go through the wringer..You should too. But hope I still have...I will not stop from making myself heard..wine
Lind

I am sure Trump will be a great leader...lol...

You're ridiculously funny Lou. But your participation and opinion is highly appreciated..wave
first i gave up on religion. then i gave up on politics. now i am a better man. bouquet
Pria good for you. I am not going to suffer from not being a better person just by exercising my legal rights, and that is to participate on political issues and concerns. Religious, I am not, but I do opine the difference between what is being religious and not.

Thanks anyways.wave
The republicans have a lot of issues that really need to be resolved if they hope to beat the democrat's in the election. It can be done but some degree of bending and flexing will be required on all sides of the house.
Drago,

Sorry about my delay in acknowledging your response which I find to be the best in substance of all the responses I have read.

I feel exactly the same way and it is our obligation to convince those living in a bubble to get out and go exercise their right to fight back to have what we lost.

Neither do I put a solid hope but it is good enough for me to keep on participating for the accomplishment of what is promised us.

God Bless you Drago and all of us that is behind the man that can possibly achieve what we are hoping for.hug cheers
Thank you so much Track. I know you realize it is a very deep scar of distrust these people have caused us and yes a lot of remolding and restructuring needs to be done.

Thank you so much.bouquet
Well now, hopefully Trump will be elected. His rallies are massive, but nobody is there wearing a shirt with an elephant on it! Paul Ryan hates Trump, if you cant tell. Trump isn't gonna lose any votes if Ryan doesn't support him. Ryan is just another example of why our government is so bloated, wasteful, over reaching, and totally out of touch with its legal citizens and the principles which Our great country was founded upon.
How audacious you are to make such a remarkable denigrating comment. He is not to me, loud or aggressive without a cause. We have reached this moment in time where our political objectives are won by rhetoric without harm. On the other hand, you are so ignorant of the causes of his strength. All politicians possess and without hesitation to use, their eloquence in their campaign, and Trump is no exception. Who the hell are you that I have no history of politics? I taught and retired in the University teaching politics. How pompous can you be?

Before your uncalled comment, you must be so ignorant of the effect of the terrors done to this country? Are you even American?frustrated
Exactly snap on.

Thanks for your comment.cheering applause wave
And might I add, on the desiderata, this is ideal when life is at peace and this is not the moment to be passive about fighting and defending our rights. We are subject to astronomical maladies, or are you in denial of the reasons why all the Republicans are fighting the same fight?

When he wins, that is what I hope to be achieved. Life as conceived in this very beautiful write.

Or would you suppose that Obama has done a good job running the country? If that is your position, I have nothing more to say to you.
