It's not good, missiles on the overdrive over Syria

Question is:

This war can possibly trigger an all out full blown WW3.

Seriously.

Sorry but peace is just thrown off way out in the far horizon.

I know. We should insulate this place with non political topics but I'm sure some are concerned as I am, what's coming next.

A third world war could happen.

I've had family members who served in several wars.
It looks imminent CC.

Our president asked all civilized nations to join in, for the purpose of ending this blood shed.

UK, just delivered a speech in favor of the attack.

Russia of course, as expected denounced the act.

Question is, what's next?
Yes, Nam. Gassing up these children just don't make sense.

@lindsy yesterday I saw a picture of a man holding two young babies in his arms who had been killed by the gas I was in disbelief to think of what did those babies to ever deserve that.

Don't have clue as to what's next.

I don't understand what message that Trump had/has sent to Syria or any other country for that matter.

It appears that we are back again invading other countries.

When will it ever end?
It struck me that The Don may have been a mite 'quick on the draw'...
shoot first & ask questions later.

YouTube Was Syrian chemical attack a white helmet false flag?

But...he claims he had the recon & intelligence proving from where the attacks were launched. dunno

Your girly president has betrayed all hope because he can't keep his emotions in check.. Is every American a wannabe hardman who crumbles at the first sign of distress? When pressure actually arrives they react defensively like the easily-threatened and insecure and go off and do some spastic "grr" and emotional. Whatever happened to manhood, endurance and stability of nature? Grace under pressure? Why o why is every American who think he's a man actually more like Eric Cartman? Yes I am exaggerating, but not even that much.
LJ / Nam, Trump was elected on his "USA isn't going to be worlds's policeman any more" promise, first atrocity what does he do dunno Becomes the CIA's puppet & launches an attack before there's any evidence of who launched the gas attack, Lets not forget we're still living with the American intelligence nugget " Iraq has weapons of mass destruction" doh For me this missile strike is a Clinton type move and the very reason so many of us non Americans supported Trump, disappointed.

Now the internet is full of stories on how the Syrian air force was able to use the airfield hours after the attack & that most of the missiles missed, if this is as Nam says "America is back" heaven help the world.
Ken, "It is silly to worry about it. The missile strike was just a warning message to China."

So now America uses a missile attack on a third party rather than sending an email, is your comment designed to instil confidence dunno if so it's not working professor
Obs, why don't you lecture your government. They're in cohorts.
I can see the logic of him given the advise per gassing up their people Ken. What was the intention, you think purely to entice this monstrous response?
I'm sure they got exactly what they expected.

Z, now I am sure there's an expiation worthy of what Trump is setting the world for.

I don't doubt Russia is ready for the next message.

But I'm curious, UK, approved so it must also know that Trump was right to launch them missiles.
Nam, I'd so want peace to prevail but if this act as Ken say, to teach China a lesson, I pray he'd learn.
Allan, intelligence report, we're not privileged to know. Protocol.
Agree,with you VS.wave
LJ, this is same UK government that "knew" the people of the UK would vote to stay in the EU, and Clinton would win the election, and the previous government that knew Saddam had weapons of mass destruction, governments only "know" what they're told by there intelligence service, which is probably as accurate as plucking stories off the net, all have there own agenda & can make a case to excuse anything, what we now appear to have is a US president with an itchy trigger finger uh oh
Zmountain, LoL I am reasonably confident China may deliver the email you wish delivered to NK.

Frankly all of the Nations named long ago by Regan as belonging to the Axis of evil should be paying attention this week.

The UN hearings of Russia's whining about the missile barrage will probably (in spite of Russia's objection) be public and available on TV and the web for those bored enough to watch it.
Hi J,
Elections are over, the man won, now all who voted him in should have a little faith in the guy they chose to operate the heavy machinery.. laugh Most of the times 'they' know things that we (the man in the street) don't know.wine
America you have a leader who will lead.war is not a good thing but some times you have to what you have to do.

there are evil people out there Assad is one of them. the message was sent ,you do not have a wussie in the white house.
Jen, I'm so anxious as to what China would do.

I'm sure Russia is challenged and ready to stomp.
Z, if there's a reason to doubt Trump's action as out of line, we will soon know about it.
I agree Luke and I am not in a hurry to judge.
String this war is going far too long. Ultimatum needed to end it, I'm sure is Trump's agenda.

I agree with point three maybe. but they are not going to tell us everything any way. Trump said he would not broadcast what he will do.
Altar, we can all learn there's no question about that.
But the agenda of our leaders is not to learn, rather to respond on such act.

I'm positive with all the options, Trump used what's best.
John, he just doesn't do as he pleases, I'm sure there's accountability from the war advisers and the Sec. Of State.

Including everyone responsible in the action.
no he does not do what he pleases, he military people to advise him and others.
Agree with you Jim.

My question really is, why didn't Obama do what was needed to be done to end it?
Very true John.

He speculates and investigates and gets the best option out of all the recommendations from the advisers.
Scotty I'm sure many of us want all these killings done once and for all.

Whatever Trump's intentions are. ..

I hope it works towards that end .
End of the day he is advised but given the final answer,........................
Mankind is on red alert Scotty.
Hello SR,

I would have liked to see Trump follow the proper protocol (such as getting approval to do such a move from the rest of the gov.) before doing what he did.

I wonder what sort of country we would have today if everyone of our Presidents just did what they wanted to do without proper approval. dunno

I know...that is way too boring, nothing like being careless.
Lindsy I am concerned too. The truth is, it is a long time [don't take this up the wrong way] but Wars are seen as a way of keeping population down [by some] and of course the spoils of war in this case ~ Oil.

Iran seems to be backing Asaad, as well as the Soviet Union [To a degree] but, the gas attack brought the appalling carnage to a head. It was Evil .

Yes, another world War is possible, but with weaponry now, who would survive ?
It is very sad, the Greed, Oil, Gold, other metals, Lithium mines. The main 8 or 9 families who really rule the world have alot to answer for. sad flower As 70% of the population are starving, have no clean water, sanitation, and the other small amount have all the wealth, all the oil, gold, and are still not content. sad flower
Johnny, I'm glad to see you.

I learned that in terms of war like this, it's imminent nature dictates the structure of the execution of order. He has observed and practice all the protocol or the libs would try him for impeachment.
Greed and power at its highest degree GG.

So gladto see and read you.

You've been missed.

Your scale and experience of life do leave me at awe and of course learn a lot from you.

I agree on all your points. Well said.

We just have to pray it's going to workas planned. To stop further escalating this blood shed.

teddybear
Lindsy I agree, we need prayer, I have started looking at the man in the mirror. What am I doing in my own life to keep peace going? To accept differences of opinion, to accept those who dislike me. It starts with outselves.
However, I know I have no power over the greed and avarice of the main families who rule the world, and the Heads of Govt. are only sock puppets, sad but true.

A change of conciousness would be a pure miracle. I pray for this, for the leaders, for us all. rose rose rose
Prayer it is GG. And lots of prayers. bouquet
