LVNV murderer.....

No using his name as he would like us all to do so. Every one is scrambling to find explanatory dirt on this crumb, focusing on Mental Health. Dead ends all around---substance abuse, family, trauma, recent loss, and so on. But lots of folks can present with high functioning lifestyles, while resentment/confusion simmer deep down. Two common sources of this predominate. Of course, some can have undiagnosed (even not yet categorized) genetic or environmental syndromes, which may have few physical or functional signs, and well hidden behavioral/emotional issues. Then there are those who experienced severe early childhood mistreatment. In both cases, there is the issue of resilience, whereby some so afflicted carry on with only minor challenges. And intelligence, which can provide enormous chances at apparent daily adaptability. The numbers of such potential time bombs isn't known, but few make it into the MH system for identification and diagnosis/help. And the best shrinks could spend hours with such types, and be clueless. But in the right hands, detailed neuropsychological testing can help. The squeaky wheel, people. Aa.

Undiagnosed illneses......

Millions world wide---tens of thousands in the EU and USA alone. After extensive medical and laboratory investigations, having seen many competent nurses and physicians, including those from complementary/alternative traditions, the health profession is clueless as to what plagues these unfortunate folks. Closest we come is to group them into some sort of possibly post infectious or environmental toxicity syndromes, with strong inflammatory, auto immune and possibly epigenetic causes. These are the achey and painy depressed low energy types, those every practitioner dreads having in their surgery. Usually what ails them doesn't kill them, but merely simmers on for years. Often they get turfed to Psychiatrists, typically the hairdressers of medicine. But not always so. Aa.

I hope everyone is safe now

The storm has passed, The real story tho is on our streets. Today between 11 am and 7 pm. I helped out the outreach program with Inner City Helping Homeless Our job for the day was to drive the route and speak to the homeless and advise them of a great initiative at Brother Kevin's on bow st. We did one half of the city and spoke to over 100 people ranging in age. They all thanked us for the information more than half the people came for food and shelter. but the really sad news is this, from talking to the homeless today most of them told us that they feel safer on the streets, The streets are better then the hostels one said. So, on a day that our government was advising people to stay behind closed doors and stay safe, there were over 200 people in the city Dublin that did not have doors they had doorways and if was not for the great work done by. Brother Kevin Cllr Christy Burke and all the volunteers and Inner City Helping Homeless that would have been the only alternative for most of these people a doorway

Man Flu- Its Real

I have had severe man flu for a couple of days, I was relieved to have actually woken up today.
My will is up to date and the house keys have been left at the coffee bar for my next of kin or thieves.

Its apparently worse than labour pain, I am so weak I find changing the TV channels a hard task, its taken me 3 hours to make soup and find a warm enough blanket, I hope I live through until tomorrow, I may have some interesting near death experiences to share with you all...........provided I survive.

What do the men here do to ensure survival?

Why dont women understand the life threatening agony on man flu?

Epigenetics as in traumata....

First it was suck it up. Move on. Get over it. Then slowly we learned that if not addressed properly, unresolved issues as sequellae to trauma (war, rape, child abuse, etc.) have a way of ruining lives, in those less resilient unfortunates, as mentioned in my previous rants here. Now we are seeing that trauma for some can alter the genome epigenetically. So the offspring of Holocaust survivors (where early work was done) have altered stress biochemistry, and process trauma differently from control populations. Shouldn't surprise anyone. Aa.

Vitamin B17 (Laetrile)

Vitamin B17 (Laetrile) which is found mostly in Apricot fruit seeds can eliminate Cancer due to the compound "Hydrogen Cyanide" that's toxic to the cancer cells. This is why the FDA had it banned from the United States as well as the natural organic herb Cannabis Oil.. #StayHealthy According to the National Cancer Society, Laetrile is staggeringly lethal, and even makes cancer tumors grow larger. The US government has madeB17 downright illegal, so why are many naturalists saying apricot seeds, which are naturally full of vitamin B17, are extremely effective at curing cancer?

DO NOT EAT THOSE BABY CARROTS IN BAGS, EVER!

DO NOT EAT THOSE BABY CARROTS IN BAGS, EVER!
Did You Know?: The small cocktail (baby) carrots you buy in plastic bags are made using the larger crooked or deformed carrots which are put through a machine which cuts and shapes them into cocktail carrots.
Once the carrots are cut and shaped into cocktail carrots, they are dipped in a solution of water and chlorine in order to preserve them. This is the very same chlorine used in pools. Since they do not have their skin or natural protective covering, they give them a pretty hefty dose. You will notice that once you keep these carrots in your refrigerator for a few days, a white coating will form on them. This is the chlorine resurfacing. Chlorine is a very well-known carcinogen, which causes cancer. Stick with carrots the way they grow in nature. They are a little more work to slice, but it’s worth it to avoid dosing yourself with chemicals.
