Auntie D and Al

You may be casually acquainted with, or have an intimate relationship with 1 or both.

They seem at first to be nice and help you through your day in handling stress etc.

A casual visitor alone or often together.

But soon you become more dependent and start to not only want them ,but I'm fact need them.

I'm talking about antidepressants and alcohol

I piss clean but how many here can admit they can sigh

Interesting to know how many here are "clean"

Getting some surprising health answers.

It's no secret that I aren't the healthiest person in the world. I eat a lot of fatty foods, particularly burgers. I like to make big monsters, such as a triple bacon cheese burger, with a LOT of bacon, cheese and grease! I also eat other stuff as well, but the common denominator is fat. My family requested that I had my cholesterol tested, so I did.

I went to the doctor, at the end of last month but it was too late in the day to take a blood test. So I had to book my own appointment in a lab, to get it done and finally see how my health is.

I did get my blood pressure measured at my doctor, and it was normal. Nothing major to be worried about there, but I still had blood work to be done. Fast forward to the day before yesterday, where I had an appointment. A few minutes after my booked time, I was guided into a small room, with a chair. The technician asked me to sit down and get comfortable.

Usually, when you get blood drawn, the technician places a rubber band on your arm, in order to draw out the vein. Mine? Well, mine popped out without the need for the rubber band. In went the needle, and out came the blood. 5 minutes after I sat down, I was finished. I then went off to work, curious at what the test would show. Definitely high cholesterol and sugar.

The results came today, and they were surprising, to say the least.

Two of the parameters were below the norm - my vitamin D and my cholesterol.

I have severe vitamin D deficit, which makes sense, because I am not in the sun a lot. The surprising one was the cholesterol. I would have bet any money that my cholesterol was too high. Instead, it's too low, but only by a tiny margin.

Am I healthy? I don't know. I will phone my doctor tomorrow to ask her what she thinks of the results. I can, however, see that I am a lot healthier than the last time I took this kind of test, so that's a plus

Husband killed by Vaxx. Docs Don't want to acknowledge

Southern California 53-Year-Old’s Life Cut Short By Employers’ Virtue Signaling COVID Protocols: There’s A Price To Vaccine Heavy Handedness
....

After sleeping through the day and waking up at 5 pm, he was just happy he slept but woke up drenched in sweat. He was last heard around midnight speaking to his son. Terry went to bed on the couch soon after and when his alarm went off at 4:45 am, Mercedes heard it continue to ring. When the ambulance came, they concluded he had passed sometime around 3 am.

Mercedes wanted an autopsy. She was told it would take longer with COVID and Terry’s doctor happened to be on vacation. But she told the office, “Well, you have all his records of all the medication because he had high blood pressure. He took medication for it. So, it was fine. You know, he had just got the vaccine?” Yet nobody wanted to hear anything about it being related to COVID.

Mercedes found this to be a stark contrast to the times before the vaccine was fully rolled out. “Well, this is surprising, because I had a friend from work whose sister-in-law got into a car accident and they called it a COVID death. And he was fighting it because he was saying no, she died in a car accident, why would you call it a COVID death? So, I’m telling you that he had all these COVID symptoms, and he had taken the second vaccine, and he hasn’t felt well ever since. And yet you don’t want to hear anything about it being a COVID death, or anything related to the vaccine? While I was planning his funeral, they were trying to tell me that ‘if you want us to do more investigations, then we won’t release the death certificate.’”

“So how does this heart stop in the middle of the night? He didn’t sleep for three days and had all these horrible symptoms. It all started happening after his second shot. The doctor finally agreed to sign it off.”

“However, when I ended up getting the death certificate, it said that he had an infection and that the infection caused a heart attack. But there was nothing on COVID. I don’t understand why there is nothing about COVID on his death certificate at all.” It was almost like they are deliberately suppressing the truth.

Terry’s death is just starting to hit Mercedes. After 30 years of marriage and knowing Terry for 31, she hasn’t even had time to grieve. Mercedes doesn’t look forward to the holidays. Her 22-year-old son was very close to his dad, so mom is staying as strong as she can and is in counseling, which is helping her navigate the grief process.

Dayak onions

Dayak onions are not only used as a culinary delicacy, but also as traditional medicine for decades by the people of Indonesia. This is because the content of Dayak onions is abundant, so many believe that this type of onion provides benefits for the health of the body. So, what are the nutritional content and benefits of this red onion?

The nutritional content of Dayak onions

The name Dayak onion comes from the Dayak tribe native to the island of Borneo, which has long cultivated these tubers. Dayak onions have other names, such as diamond onions, sabrang onions, and tiwai onions, with the Latin name Eleutherine palmifolia (L.) Merr or Eleutherine bulbosa Mill.

Its appearance is not much different from ordinary shallots, except that the size of the bulbs of sabrang onions is smaller, the color is more bright red, and the surface of the skin is smoother.

In addition to being useful as a spice, the use of Dayak onions is included as a traditional medicine thanks to the various nutritional contents in Dayak onions.

The biased, fake news NYT....

gets the second resignation of an op ed editor (first was James Bennet) in the past several months. Mzzzzz/Mrrrrr ? Bari Weiss quits its job, with an interesting letter. The gist of the letter complains that the NYT doesn't have twitter on its masthead. And that it's been tough working there with the ongoing adverse political views of much of the other staff. Ceteris paribus.
In the early days of the paper, before the 1900's, one of the founders proudly announced that his paper should present all viewpoints, so as to encourage open public debate. Right.
Now, Bari, is hardly a right wing plant. And seems pretty young, and possibly inexperienced, for such a role at this major fish wrap. But c'mon, peebles, did she/he/it, possibly think that this left wing outlet would allow the sort of fair coverage the founders believed in, over a century ago? Much less, that it/he/she would somehow have a chance in hell to change the biased leftie direction of the suits, let alone other staff To inexperience, I'd add naivete'.
In these regards, I view with interest the frequent lifting of stories from the NYT, WP, LAT, etc., by some here on CS, to post, while making a TD-HD Syndrome political point. The severity of the illness is such, that not once has there ever been raised a doubt about the veracity of the paper's stories. Nor citing any other slightly different viewpoint. It just gets proudly, stridently, lifted and copied onto the posting. AS IF.
Yes indeedie, severe afflictions---VERY severe.

The Hero that Smiles

Here's a person that loves to smile.
They always try to purify anything vile
They always there to help people through their pain
And in doing so, The mental fatigue from others they gain.
They have been fighting this fight for month and years
Always barely escaping in scratches and tears.
Deep down they wondered "how long do I fight?
How long will I be able to keep up this might?"
"I am getting so tired of being beaten.
Please lord I just want this pain to end!??"
However life doesn't give them the happiness they desire
Instead they gains more people that just admire.
They admire their strength to keep moving.
That throughout many trials, their strength they keeps proving.
Knowing they have people that see their strength they refuses to quit.
For they would never forgive themselves if they end up hurting the people that stay with them through it.
They won't falter and will go another day.
Till the moment the pain finally goes away.
Now this may sound like a sad tale but that's not the case.
This is actually the obstacle in the race.
Or as a better comparison the conflict in a story.
The thing that is blocking this person's glory.
You see all things change and shift.
This problem here will soon be dealt with, powerful and swift. For even though they can't find others to save them, and their body begins to weaken.
The will eventually pick themselves up and finally get the beast to meet its end.
They will make it think it won, the fight coming to a close.
However at that moment they will reel her hand back and slam it into the dumb Beast's nose.
As soon as the beast head reel back, it's blood coating the ground.
They will give off a terrifying scream, one with a beyond angry sound.
They will start beating the beast back, ripping it to shreds.
Tearing it piece by piece, starting from the head.
As soon as they finished, with their head held high.
They will shout to the world, the beast has said its last goodbye.
They will smile once more though different from before.
Cause when they smiles this time, it won't be one with any pain in it.
Instead it'll be full of glee and relief though that isn't just it.
Final thing they'll notice is the tears streaming down their face.
They will fall so fast and plentiful that it'll seem like someone sprayed them with mace.
However at that moment they won't have a care in the world.
For at that moment they has freed themselves from the beast that made their body curled.
The thing that has haunted them has been slain.
Finally, for once in her life, pain in any categories won't be a thing they gain. Instead they finally acquired a peace of mind.
One such thing that no one can bind.
So again you may have thought this poem was sad.
However if you stuck with it till the end, you can now see that it was actually not sad nor glad.
Instead this poem was basically bittersweet.
A poem, which after writing it, I thought was pretty neat.
Now you may wonder what the next big beast the hero will need to slay.
And to that I say shut up and let them rest for the day.
The hero did their job so now's the time for relaxation.
There will be no such thing as a repeated occasion.
This hero can now rest easy.
For the future afterwards will only be breezy.

First Covid-19 vaccine into humans shows promising results.

Recipients of the vaccine produced antibodies to the virus. thumbs up
About 1/2 got some minor side effects like soreness at the site of injection or fever.
One person got hives (an immune response) and was withdrawn from the study.
Overall a good step forward.
