I wonder how many steps I walk in a year.. (part 2)

Oh yes, there's a part 2, but only because I gave some wrong information in my previous blog.

Quick note: The app I use is one that came preinstalled on my phone, so it does not have a name. One other app you can use is called Step Counter: Healthy Habits. That app tells you the distance you've walked as well as how many calories you've burned in a day. It apparently also rewards you for walking. A million coins gives you a $50 gift card for Amazon - allegedly. I haven't tested it out yet. I will let you know if it's legit or not

I mistakenly thought that the 184 miles was the total distance walked. It wasn't. It was the total steps walked this month.

Back in May, my phone told me that I had walked 98211 steps. In June, that number shot up dramatically, to 344178 steps. Given that this is the last day of July, the 31st, I am marking down my total steps this month as 442988.

So let's do the math. 98.211 + 344.178 + 442.998 is 885.387 steps - in about two and a bit months. How many kilometers is that? That's 708.3 km. That's about 440 miles, if you count imperial. That means my math was WAY off. In a year, I will walk 4248 kilometers, or 2640 miles. That's the same distance from New York City to Fernley, Nevada.

You'd think you could see it on me, but alas. You can't. Maybe in a years time, possibly.

Japan shows the way when it comes to policy surrounding the jab

Elected leaders in other countries should take note! No coercion or punishment around getting jabs, just old fashioned informed consent and respect for individual choice!

Most Deaths During The Spanish Flu Were Due To Bacterial Pneumonia

How Many Deaths Attributed To Covid May Be Due To Bacterial Pneumonia?
I.E. People may've Died WITH Covid but FROM Bacterial Pneumonia?

How many lives may've been Saved if Covid patients had been treated with Antibiotics?
But antibiotics weren't Prescribed because Covid is Viral - Not Bacterial?

It also raises the question whether widespread masking is sound Public Health Policy.
Note the Dates - 2008 & 2015, respectively.

All that information was Available WELL Before Covid arrived on the scene.

1/2 a kilo of yoghurt a day

Really, is half a kilo of plain, Greek, fat-free yoghurt a day too much?

I won't describe the loo bowl after I'm done with it but whoever has watched Train Spotting has a pretty good idea. However, is that really too much you think? Why/why not?

I'm trying to eat healthy but I have to fill my bottomless pit somehow. No, I'm no rabbit. No kilos of veg for me. Protein's a lot better suited to my palate.

I am truly sore.

Last night I played 2 games (double header) of softball in south NJ.
One was a regularly scheduled game and one was a rainout make-up game.
I did a tremendous amount of running..... in both games.

This morning I had a regularly scheduled double header in central NJ.
4 games in 16 hours is more than what I played, when I was 25 years old.
I'm well over twice that age now.

Next year, I'm holding on my contracts, until I get a lovely full time masseuse guaranteed.
You teammates want me running in the outfield, running when I get on base, and running for you,
when you get on base (courtesy runner), better pony up some ca..ching for my new to be hired masseuse. hug

tongue

Too bad my usual one, is currently living on her yacht off the coast of Florida. sigh

Covid Vaccine is 'Creating Variants'

The Luegenmedia is following the CCP Party Line that the epidemic will be resurging with a Delta Variant.

Of course they knew there would be complications from the Jab. This Nobel Prize winner tells us why:

While it is understood that viruses mutate, causing variants, French Virologist and Nobel Prize Winner Luc Montagnier contends that “it is the vaccination that is creating the variants.”
...

Vaccines are Creating the Variants

Prof. Montagnier referred to the vaccine program for the coronavirus as an “unacceptable mistake”. Mass vaccinations are a “scientific error as well as a medical error, he said. “It is an unacceptable mistake. The history books will show that, because it is the vaccination that is creating the variants,” Prof. Luc Montagnier continued.

The prominent virologist explained that “there are antibodies, created by the vaccine,” forcing the virus to “find another solution” or die. This is where the variants are created. It is the variants that “are a production and result from the vaccination.”
Antibody-Dependent Enhancement

Prof. Montagnier said that epidemiologists know but are “silent” about the phenomenon, known as “Antibody-Dependent Enhancement” (ADE). In the articles that mention ADE, the concerns expressed by Prof. Montagnier are dismissed. “Scientists say that ADE is pretty much a non-issue with COVID-19 vaccines,” an article at Medpage Today reported in March.

Do mRNA covid vaccinations permanently change our DNA?

Well the answer to that is NO

It seems some here are addicted to anti-vax hysteria, and the pleasant (to them); resulting melodrama...

Sorry to disappoint the anti-vax brigade on here; but once again, they DO NOT permanently alter our DNA

Oh, and just what happens to those simply dastardly spike proteins? Well, once again; sorry to disappoint you all; but they are not permanent, either

Boosted...

A friend of mine didn't make it out to the flying field last weekend as he said he usually does. His reason was virus. He believes it was a trip to the dentist where he had no mask in an environment with lots of people getting medical attention.
The county COVID testing sites are overwhelmed, but he was able to get a home test from the pharmacy to confirm his thoughts.
Cold-like symptoms, sinus pain and congestion, body aches that lasted about 4 days.

He and his family have been vaccinated and boosted. As soon as he felt sick the masks went on through his household and so far, he's past the contagious stage and no one in his family caught his virus.

Good news.
