Human life is like a bridge, in the beginning it is only the project, then the construction of the bridge begins and step by step the bridge begins to develop but in this development, the bridge will have holes/ weak points in it. When the bridge is almost complete, the devil comes to inspect the bridge and sends small attacks that will reveal the holes/weak points of the bridge. Along with these attacks, 3 events take place. 1 the devil finds out the weak points of the bridge, 2 we can receive certain information (if we know how to be careful) ... information that can be useful to us ... 3 we can try to patch the bridge as best we know so that in the end it is more resistant and to face the final attack when the devil comes with everything he has. At the end, it is decided whether the bridge is ready for our passage to the world beyond or not, and this will have a great impact on God's decision regarding the place where we will spend eternity. For me, the bridge of my life is almost complete, so the attacks started some time ago, which makes me understand that the final test is coming....

We have heat on these cold winter days.
We have cool air on these hot summer days.
We have love.
We have the internet.
We have tv.
We have tons of different drink.
We have cigarettes.
We have weed.
We have freedom of movement and choice.
We have the sun.
We have lights at night.
We have friends.
We have entertainment.
We have gas we can buy.
We have comfortable furniture.
We have windows we can look out of.
We have children or loved ones.
We have the ability to improve our life standards.
We have intelligence.


Why does complaining dominate us?

I think back to when I was younger....watching Little House on the Prairie....and what Charles needed to go through to provide for his family.....compared to what we have today. I think I am living pretty darn good...not much to complain about in my book.

I dream in color and most of my dreams are realistic. Normal stuff. I've jammed with other musicians, had conversations with friends and family. Discussed things about work. A few times I know what my day would be like because my dream the night before gave me a clue. Not a premonition, but enough sequence that I 'got the gist' something was coming up.

Years ago, I worked for a company and decided to leave because it was extremely hectic and I felt like I wasn't getting support from management... I waited for them to hire a replacement before leaving and a few months after, I was told the replacement wasn't working out and to PLEASE come back!
I did and the night before my fist day back I had a dream of meeting a blonde haired woman wearing a blue business suit. It was in a corporate environment and she was basically complaining to me about work that wasn't finished.
100% accurate. I was sent to meet a designer they started doing work for shortly after I left and she was very busy meaning it was potentially lots of work for us. So, I had to go to salvage the account.

Two days ago, I was dreaming I had the refrigerator door open and I was looking around. I do that often, open the door (letting cold air out) and stare for a few minutes... strange, but not a big deal for a dream. In the dream, I saw a package of English Muffins. I've been avoiding bread products to lose weight and thought "How did they get here?"
The first thing I checked when I got up was to see if English Muffins were in the refrigerator. Nothing!
Yeah, I've got some in there now!!

We all have memories growing up what it was like during the Halloween season. Seems like a lifetime ago, as I have fond memories of Halloween. The cold crisp weather, the scary movies put out by various networks, and of course, the candy.

I would say my favorite Halloween was spent on Halloween eve when my area had trick-or-treat night on that day every years from about 5pm to 6:30 or 7pm. It was 1984 when my gf came down to spend it with me. We strolled around the area and got with my friend Steve as he was handing out candy to the kids out on the step for and elderly couple he knew. We sat down with him for a bit as we went on our way back to my house. We sat out back in my lounge chair out in my back yard for a while, and I gotta say, it may not have seemed like a lot, but it was honestly like a little piece of heaven for me. As I have gotten older, these memories have become even more special for me.

Oh, and as for the candy, gotta love those peanut M&M's, Reese's, Kit Kat's, and Twix candy.

Mozambique has one of the most beautiful unspoiled coastlines in Africa. However, most beach tourism is confined to its islands.
Dont come to Mozambique if you are expecting that life here would be the same as where ever you came from.
It suffers from poor infrastructure and roads, inadequate public healthcare, corruption and sporadic water supply.
Id say visit Mozambique only if you're the adventurous type.

Its a paradise.

If contemplating a holiday, is Thailand a good place to visit, and are there opportunities to mix with the locals. Are the bars friendly especially at night time and are the ladies willing to help you see the sights, especially if you are male?

2021 was a terrible year for many. While I pretended to be semi-retired making less money than previous years, I didn't 'fall into a hole' financially. With a dental issue that popped up and is being resolved, my overall health has been okay.
I skirted COVID at least 6 times as people around me (coworkers and friends) were directly affected.

So what's to complain about?
Nothing really.

Retailers are still pushing with extended black Friday sales and sale-a-thons up the ying-yang.
(that's the first time I used ying-yang in a blog)

Anyway, 2 days after Christmas, I was in Walmart and the normal New Years party items are in the front of the store. To my surprise, they had Valentines displays out too!

Ya can't wait... can ya!

In Wisconsin now, drivers licenses are good for 8 years. Of course this month is when my 8 years has to run out. Now I have left my farm exactly 3 times in the last year. I checked on line..you can renew their..IF under 65. Of course have to put SS number on line to do it , too.
So checked..lots of satellite service centers are closed. Of the ones remaining, appointments only. And some no testing, no plates and title stuff.
I was lucky to find the one in my area is walk in, no appt. My fella lives in city and had to do appt.
Decided which mask is best cause have to drop for photo. Drove into town..cars...maybe it is staff? Parked and walked to door...half a dozen people inside waiting and doing. Two windows only. Do I go in..do I go and come back later. Well, only open two days a week so everyone has to do stuff here.
I entered, saw 2 guys right there and decided to wait outside the door! Gal come up, I said it is safer to wait outside. She is antsy. Almost told her go ahead of me if you are in such a hurry. A guy came out so I went into the foyer. She is on my tail. More people are now out and coming in. Why don't we just have a group HUG while we are AT IT!
I stepped inside..no spacing markers, old guy writing over there with no mask..oh he finished and put it on. Guess cant think and write with it on.
I finally got to counter..handed him the paperwork I had printed and done at home. Take eye test..germy machine!!! argh...He says tell me first line, can you see lights to side, good go for photo. Sheesh, why bother...they used to check depth, color and more.
I had a knit hat on, dropped mask. He tries..take off glasses. Snap. Here is receipt and bye.
I stuffed papers in purse and scrammed.
Finally looked at photo today printout. For 8 years I will look like an old witch. Know what..no one ever sees that photo on license anyway. So who care. It is what I call my year of the pandemic license. 5 days and seems clear of virus. Now can stay on farm til April when dentist again. Or may cancel. Readers Digest says yearly is enough unless issues.
