I tried very hard not to condemn people for their beliefs, and if I think they're bonkers but will try to keep my thoughts to myself . But today took my breath away.
Watching a programme this morning with a discussion between a farmer, his wife and a vegan. The farmer had posted a nice picture of his cow on a social media site with her calf triplets, apparently quite a rarity. All was well for 24 hours, then a group of vegans started trolling. This mornings discussion left me speechless with the vegan saying that farmers were committing rape on their cows when having them artificially inseminated, why because the cows had not given their permission.
My best friend Emmycat wasn't feeling well...so I took her to the vet clinic...
She had a mass on her heart and lungs...so I agreed with the vet to euthanize her...
Emmy may you rest in peace and I will never forget you...I truly miss you and love you...
The joy pets can bring is infinate...and Emmy was a joy to hang out with and loved to snuggle
and play fight...and she loved her kitty treats
In the memory of my dearest…
There was a very little spider in the lower right corner of my kitchen window. It span his tiny net and caught smallest flies appearing from the pots with plants… Once a week, I dusted off his corner with a cloth very carefully, using only my index finger and only when I was sure that you, my darling, had time enough to hide yourself in the window frame.
We lived in harmony.
That was a prelude.
…left my key to my best neighbour when departing for my usual 2-weeks late-autumn sun-holiday and asked her to water my pot-plants. Which she certainly did. The woman is an angel.
Upon returning noticed that my windows were washed. Couldn’t believe my eyes at first, but eventually surrendered to the fact: my windows shone clean! Turned out that the woman liked to wash windows. Indisputably an angel and my appreciation has no limits.
…but my spider was gone.
Now the small flies are flying all over my flat and there’s no one to catch them… And – snow, rain, nearest road – the windows are dirty again.
I hope, my dearest, that your short life in my window corner was happy and plentiful. I miss you so much…

JOHANNESBURG – The National Council of SPCAs (NSPCA) was "horrified" after it had to put down 25 horses belonging to the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) because the animals were starving to death, the council said on Monday.
The animals were in the care of the SANDF's South African Army Special Infantry Capability (SAASIC) unit.
In a statement, the NSPCA said its inspectors found the animals "in such an emaciated condition or compromised state of health that to prevent their further suffering they had to be destroyed".
These same horses were once the pride and joy of the unit. There are no words to describe.
We all know that Gary Glitter is very much persona non grata these days, which is no doubt as it should be. However, I can't help thinking it a little unfair that his scandalous sex abuse record has totally eclipsed what an absolutely crap musician this man was. His performances were truly diabolical, even by 70s standards. So, despite his moral descent to the very lowest depths, let's just take a minute to remember what a twat he was to start with.
