REPORT: Biden “Not Sleeping Well,” Says He Wants to Go Home to Delaware to Sleep

According to a new report from journalist Jack Posobeic, President Joe Biden is not sleeping well and wants to go home to Delaware after taking a separate vacation last weekend.

Biden telling staff he wants to go back to Delaware. Hasn’t been sleeping well all this week. Thinks he will be more functional if he stays over at home in Wilmington,” Posobeic reported.

Just an hour after Posobiec dropped this tweet, WMAL News reported that Biden would in fact be going home to Wilmington, Delaware for a long weekend.

“President Biden, who has spent the last few days traveling between the White House and Camp David, is scheduled to head to Delaware for a long weekend,” WMAL News tweeted. “That’s according to the FAA’s website.”

When America needs him most, Biden is going home to sleep in Delaware.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Biden State Department delivered devastating news when they announced that they “cannot ensure safe passage” to the Kabul airport for Americans trapped in Afghanistan.

I'm concerned about Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas...

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has popped up in the news this past week... several times. It appears his connections with conservative billionaire Harlan Crow has recently uncovered some unreported gifts and non-disclosure of real estate sales.
However wrong (or possibly illegal) that is, he will gather support so it's like water running off a duck's back.

The question raised is how could a Supreme Court Justice be impartial and able to do his job fairly when his wife and long time investor friend are ultra-conservative pumping money and support into the Republican party?

Certainly my opinion... I expect some of you to differ.

Nearly a year ago, there was movement on other issues that he should be removed from his position.

I'll call this a request for justice about a Justice.

re:Ferguson

I just can't see how former cop Darren Wilson-who shot down in cold
blood an unarmed young black man named Michael Brown-got 500k for an interview;that left people pretty pissed off because of the decision of the chicken GJ. There's no justice in Ferguson. Next that you know that former cop Wilson may have his own
TV or radio talk or even open a bar!frustrated

It is time for me to go....

Dear Members of CS and CS moderators

I had been on this site for nearly a year now. My intent was to meet and chat with great people all over this planet (and I did get this opportunity... thank you)...

However, recently I really got so disappointed in the people we have on this site... to a degree it is worst than real life, ...in real life you also can go and sort conflict face to face... here it gets messy...

My disappointment is not only in how people on this site deals when being challenged with facts ... It is also how gullible intelligent people can be... how can we take sides and that based on face value

... some bloggers don't keep any records of previous blogs (also then usually blame the inconsistency of this site ... which is also a concern for me). When there is a blog 'complain' ...some intelligent people will then get involved in the discussion and taking sides and that based on selective or no information at all...

My value system is far to solid for 1) being insulted purely because I wanted to make sense of my world, 2) tolerating manipulation of the system and 3) seeing members succeeding in the victim game...

My life is blessed and this site was purely when I couldn't sleep at night. I really don't have to be put up with this. Maybe I would be able to meet some of you in real life ... take care... look at the bigger picture, don't provide any person with your login details and approach life with open eyes...

I am in the process cancelling my profile... but in the meantime....

Sweetkisses ....Namaste

af·flu·en·za

af·flu·en·za: a psychological malaise supposedly affecting wealthy young people, symptoms of which include a lack of motivation, feelings of guilt, and a sense of isolation.

According to the published time lines, this affliction did not take root until around 2010 and it’s actual definition appears to be somewhat in question. Interestingly enough, it is not listed in the Blacks Law Dictionary ( the most widely accepted dictionary of law) or similar links, bringing into question it’s application and consideration in legal rulings. This is not completely uncommon since new definitions for different conditions and afflictions are under consideration in a variety of cases, but the use of or excuse for behaviors that result in loss of human life is rare. If in fact we are to consider this a medical condition, then different forms of treatment certainly should be considered.

A simple observation of the apparent condition might suggest that the best cure would be to remove the conditions that caused it and to reverse those conditions to the point that the condition naturally reverts back to “normal”. Since the causation appears to be a life of “plenty” and “excess”, both causes must be removed and replaced with a treatment of labor and conditions much like the great majority of our population experience each day; in fact to reverse the condition it might be well for treatment to include a period of time equal to that which caused the affliction, which is approximately 16 years, his age at the time of the accident. Since he has gone without treatment for nearly 3 additional years and there has been at least one relapse, a sound course of treatment might be considered at 20 years. In fact, the legal system has a description for such treatment. It is “20 years at hard labor”. While some might say this is unconstitutional by todays practices, let me remind you this is described as a medical/physiological condition so those rules simply do not apply. The good of the patient must take precedence.

Now, we are not talking about tossing the poor lad into a common prison cell. That would be cruel (although not unusual) and would not provide any treatment. A treatment something more in line with that old movie “Holes” would be more in line, in fact I’m betting there are quite a few young people out there with this affliction so an entire course of treatment in a similar facility should be considered reasonable and appropriate. We would advise against a warden that coated her finger nails with rattlesnake venom … that should be reserved for only the most die hard cases that completely resist treatment.

So, the Tarrant County District Attorney’s office has some options and the judge in the case also has his own responsibilities to the people, the family, and of course to the poor lad that is so afflicted. Let’s hope that go for an appropriate treatment that will serve everyone and prevent any further relapses!

Statist instinct of the Left: "Shut up!" vs. Free speech

Here's a test to see if you, yourself, have Statist impulses. Do you favor speech and debate, or is your go-to response "Shut up!"

The Founders of the American Republic and the U.S. Constitution were students of Natural Law and the Socratic method. Logical arguments, back and forth, within proscribed rules, until the truth could be elicited.

The Socratic method (also known as method of Elenchus, elenctic method, or Socratic debate) is a form of cooperative argumentative dialogue between individuals, based on asking and answering questions to stimulate critical thinking and to draw out ideas and underlying presuppositions. It is named after the Classical Greek philosopher Socrates and is introduced by him in Plato's Theaetetus as midwifery (maieutics) because it is employed to bring out definitions implicit in the interlocutors' beliefs, or to help them further their understanding.

The Socratic method is a method of hypothesis elimination, in that better hypotheses are found by steadily identifying and eliminating those that lead to contradictions.

The Socratic method searches for general commonly held truths that shape beliefs and scrutinizes them to determine their consistency with other beliefs. The basic form is a series of questions formulated as tests of logic and fact intended to help a person or group discover their beliefs about some topic; exploring definitions, and seeking to characterize general characteristics shared by various particular instances.

“Persuasion is the civilized substitute for harsh authority and ruthless force,” wrote R.T. Oliver. Oliver said that the recipients of any persuasive discourse must feel free to make a choice. In a free society it is persuasion that decides rules, determines behavior, and acts as the governing agent in human physical and mental activities. In every free society individuals are continuously attempting to change the thoughts and/or actions of others. It is a fundamental concept of a free society.

Yes, persuasion. Not, Shut Up!

But persuasion involves civilized discourse.

But if you are a Statist, there are millions of dead, millions sent to the camps, the Gulags of Soviet Russia, the Lao Gai of Communist China, giving mute testimony of the urge to say SHUT UP to others, rather than even attempting to persuade.

So, are you trying to persuade, like a Free Westerner, or scream, "Shut Up!" like a Communist?
