Whatever happened to buyer beware? Whatever happened to taking responsibility for one's own stupidity? Does anyone ever think they made their own messes anymore?

I see middle aged people on this site every day who think someone else is to blame for their stupidity, butt hurt, and/or their offended sensibilities. Just exactly why do people think they are entitled to someone else acting the way they most prefer? Foolish expectations, especially at our ages. We have a lifetime of proof that says that we have no control over other people, situations, behaviors.

You know what blame does? It puts the blamer in a position of powerlessness. It puts the blamer in the role of victim.

Color me crazy but I'm not giving my power away to anyone. I'll take response-ability for my actions and reactions, thank you very much.

That said, there are some insane people in this world. Cover your a** and trust yourself more than you trust anyone else.

Bunch of weak weak minded people in this world. Baaaahhhhhh.....go the sheep

Life makes a complete circle and in most cases, several of them; almost like a wheel. The closer you are to the center of the wheel the smoother is your ride.

However, you cannot win if you do not dare. When you live near the rim of the wheel, life is more interesting. Your ups will be more exciting and your downs more spectacular. When on top, the view will be great but when you go down, you will be dragged through the dust. And when it rains, it will be mud.

On your journey through life, you will overtake some people and some will overtake you. While coming down, you will seldom have much control. It is much like parachuting. You can pull a few strings here and there to choose the best landing spot but down you will go. Some people have the knack to run to the center of the wheel when it starts going down. Others try to stay on top by running on the rim; like a monkey riding a barrel. While it works, it is fine but when you lose your footing, down you go.

Going up is trickier. You have to be careful whom you walk over on your way up for those very people may overtake you again. What goes up, must come down… eventually. A helping hand to somebody going down may (or may not) be remembered later but a kick in the face will certainly not be forgotten.

And when you’re down, get up quickly. Life will not wait for you. Afterwards the people will not remember you for how far you fell. The circumstances that led to your fall will soon be forgotten. You will be remembered for how fast you got up again.

I wonder if you would be so kind as to do the world a favour & stop altering the English language, it's taken me 64 years to learn it & I'm too old to start all over again.

Device - explosives placed into a container & connected to a mobile phone for the purpose of detonation is called " A BOMB".

Terrorist- someone who makes\places in position\encourages others to do the prior\arranges payment for said bombs is a terrorist, mentally ill people do not plant bombs & to insinuate that they do is imo an insult to all those who are mentally ill.

No Connection to Terrorism - If I visit the shops, pay for my groceries & go home that's no connection to terrorism, if however I go to the shops & stab 8 people whilst shouting Allah, forcing people to run in terror of their lives, that's a terrorist, Someone who plants 2 bombs in rubbish bins with the intention of killing or injuring as many as possible, that's a terrorist.

You go to a restaurant for dinner, do you expect the guy to pay or do you at least offer to split the bill, me personally I would think more of my date if she offered to split it, but I would cover the full cost being an old fashioned gent,....

We think being a woman is hard.

But I honestly think being a man is harder.

In a world, political correctness gone mad, men have to think more than twice not to be accused of sexism, racism, misogyny, prejudism, violence or some other thing when dealing with women.

With the rise of feminism, manliness was denigrated and abhorred. Most men had to adjust or were forced to be gentle - men instead of gentlemen. They lost their identity and evolved into something else.

Even here in the virtual world, I see it's men who publicly whine mostly about other blog topics, scammers and bloggers. It's not manly to whine. Men have to be assertive. Have control over themselves and fight or defend and protect themselves and the vulnerable only when threatened.

(Sorry, not trying to teach anyone to be men. Just my opinion and I rightfully like to have it. Thank you)

Women stood up, fought and got to a place where they deemed was right for them. ( Whether women got it right is another topic for another blog.)

Will I die without finding a knight in rustic armour?

I don't mind actually dying without a knight if the Knights came in pink.



Will men fight back to get to their rightful right to be men, manly men with honour and valour ?

Or will they shape their eyebrows, start painting their lips and nails, look pretty and start a hashtag #pink is the new black ?

President Donald Trump said Friday that he was being sarcastic when he raised the possibility of using disinfectant inside people's bodies to fight coronavirus.

Trump said at his daily news briefing on Thursday that scientists should explore whether inserting light or disinfectant into the bodies of people infected with the new coronavirus might help them treat the respiratory illness caused by the virus.

"I was asking a question sarcastically to reporters like you just to see what would happen," Trump told reporters Friday at an Oval Office bill signing.


Trump on Thursday raised the issues during the daily White House coronavirus briefing after a Department of Homeland Security presentation detailed finding that the coronavirus deteriorates more quickly when subjected to higher levels of heat, humidity and ultraviolet rays from the sun.

"So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it's ultraviolet or just very powerful light — and I think you said that hasn't been checked but you're going to test it," Trump said, according to The Hill. "And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside of the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way. And I think you said you’re going to test that too. Sounds interesting."
Trump also asked if there was a way to use disinfectants on the body "by injection inside or almost a cleaning."

I think most will agree that where a scammer can be proved we should report, but earlier I read a blog where one member suggested we should report the blog as he found it offensive, should we really report any blog we don't like to me next would come bloggers we don't like the same member also described the blogger as scum taking up space on the blogs when one member insults another should we report that personally I'd look at each individual case before deciding but what if we know a blogger has knocked 11 years off their age stated in their profile, and posted a picture to match that age, should we report that indeed what constitutes grounds for a report, we don't want to overwork the mods now do we

We had an unidentified flying object traversing our Cape Town airspace for the last two weeks. It had the shape of a bright and shiny ball hanging in the sky, radiating immense heat.

It was visible during the normal hours of daylight, decorating our clear blue skies for almost 12 hours each day, slowly moving through the northern sky in a westerly direction, dispersing any cloud cover with the heat that it radiated. At first it was thought that it was doing an aerial survey, mapping the ground surface, but now it is believed that it may have been in search of intelligent life and, failing to find anything, it left because today it is gone, taking the welcome heat with it.

The South African Rugby Board said it was a Japanese probe to spy on our rugby teams. He added that it is an obvious plot to undermine our rugby and the mere fact that it arrived from the direction of Japan every time, is enough proof of it. Apparently, the information obtained was used to defeat South Africa, Samoa and the USA on the rugby field.

A government representative said people are to remain calm for it is not an extraterrestrial object. He contradicted an earlier statement by claiming that it was the sun, but just a few weeks ago, they stated that the sun does not shine over Africa. It would seem that our government learned a few tricks from the Americans when it comes to suppressing UFO evidence.
