Not what it seems, or is it ?

"A 10-MONTH-old baby girl has died in Spain after her grandfather left her in the back of his car for eight hours"

Bit of a roller coaster this article, man leaves granddaughter, 10 months old, in the back of a car in Spain, in summer, hanging is too good for him professor but read on, he went for a coffee & forgot he'd left her there, so poor man has trouble with memory comfort not his fault professor But hold on, cars here heat up in less than a minute to maybe 50c+, who would leave a dog, let alone a child in a car under those conditions very mad I can't think of a single place in Spain where kids are not welcomed with open arms, was it he couldn't be bothered to take her mumbling

A Matter Of Respect.

Respect is a substance that can sometimes be in very short supply on the web and I often wonder if those rude people are like that in the real world as well.confused

Or are they like some of the guys I know? I cannot understand how a devoted family man, husband and father, can be the softest guy in the world until he shifts in behind the steering wheel of a car. Then he transforms into an absolute road hog, the aggression running out his ears; cursing, swearing, showing finger signs, and driving like a maniac; even when his family is with him in the car.very mad

Then, when I see the behavior of some of the people here, I wonder if it is the same scenario when on-line. Are we dealing with normally very nice people who become cyber pigs when they go on line, or is there a sub-species called human pigs who behave like that all the time?dunno

What can be so difficult about ignoring what we don’t like, as we do in the real world? We don’t walk up to a stranger and tell him: “Hey knucklehead, I don’t like your shirt, it is a vile color, and it only serves to reveal your poor taste in clothing”, do we? Nope, we just think that and walk on.dancing

And now I wonder if the Internet does not give some people a misplaced feeling of power, knowing that their victims cannot strike at them. Or are they cowards in real life and finding the cyber world a safe haven to say and do the things that they are too scared of in real life?doh

It is amazing how far a little respect can go and how quickly the lack thereof can spoil things. I think if people behaved in real life as some do on the WWW, there would have been more assault cases than what our courts can handle and more mouth injuries than what the hospitals can cope with.grin

Relax, it is weekend!wave

PS
Rumor has it that a guard dog, employed at a cupcake factory, was found asleep by the owner this morning. The warehouse owner was not available for comment as she was counting boxes.laugh

In another unconfirmed story, 24 mules were seen in the vicinity, carrying 2 boxes each. It is not known if the two incidents are related.doh

The latest news is that a well dressed female Malaysian national was last seen running in the streets looking for 'that darn cat and his mules'. We now suspect that the two incidents are related.

Let's get to the core

If your religion teaches you to kill, and you do it.

Who's fault is it?

Now killing as a response to the killer, would it serve good to humanity?

Or erasing and eliminating that religion, would it solve the problem?

Be my guest.

My son said: Mom, the saying goes, "EVIL REIGNS AND PREVAILS WHEN GOOD MEN DO NOTHING."

Make sense, doesn't it?

So the question is? Are you a good man?

White Lies

Some people believe that there are times when a lie will serve better than the truth and then they call it a white lie. I find it hard to reconcile myself with such a philosophy because I think it is yellow if you don’t have the guts to tell the truth; regardless of the results.scold

Let’s take a hypothetical case and imagine that your forty year old somewhat overweight mother, wife, sister, girlfriend, cousin, niece or whatever approaches you in a dress that sits way above her knees and asks you if she looks OK. It is obvious that she has her doubts otherwise she would not have asked. Now how do you reply?uh oh

You could tell her the truth and there is a possibility that she may be pissed off with you for a few days but she’ll get over it and more importantly, she'll know the truth - if she had not known it before. Or you can deceive her with a lie to make her happy but in believing that lie, she may make a spectacle of herself in public.doh

I could ask you which reply served her better; the truth that made her unhappy or the lie that made her happy but I won’t. I’ll rather ask you which you can live with better: To displease with the truth or to create a short-lived illusion of satisfaction with a lie. But don’t answer; I’ll leave that with you to chew on.mumbling

Of course, if she did not ask, you could have kept quiet. Ok, maybe the ethnics are not right but you still had the option to exercise your right to remain silent. But now that she asked, you are in a predicament. And this gives you another reason to be truthful; for people should learn not ask questions if any of the possible answers will offend them.dancing

What A Grand Mess!

This weekend was an abortion. Almost everything went wrong. Luckily only one event placed me at some disadvantage.uh oh

First I walked out of my volunteer job. For three days running I had no pupils after the break. Monday and Tuesday I had two and four respectively. Those kids only come to school for the plate of food and then they disappear. Of course I was not going to sit around wasting my time. I went home early on Wednesday and Thursday.help

On Friday the principal said he found something to keep me busy before I disappear again. I told him that I don’t need to be kept busy. I volunteered to teach illiterate street children, not to arrange books in the library. I got into my car and drove off. Anyway, I should not have volunteered in the first place.doh

On Saturday a bride did not show up for a wedding. I cannot say that I’m sorry. Apparently some of the guests were not informed and were milling around at the venue for an hour or two before going home. The only trouble is that the husband-to-be blames me for the fiasco and I was not even there. He now threatens to sue his would-be bride and I for breach of promise and I don’t even know where she finds herself at the present. Good luck to him.tongue

Then things settled and we had a great Sunday Braai, but last night somebody spoke about ‘biltong’. Google it! I got a craving for it and drove 7 km to find a café selling decent biltong. Coming back, about 1 km from home, a drunken duck drove into the back of my car. Thankfully, not too much damage. Mostly plastic trimmings, the left-hand tail light (big bucks) and the boot won’t close.sigh

Spent two hours in the charge office trying to make a statement and all I got for my trouble was about 250 gm of biltong at ZAR300.00 per kg. At least that was passable.thumbs up

Have A Heart

I can understand that some people can refuse to eat meat because of the cruel way in which animals are raised and killed. But I have the same sentiments towards vegetables and I must object in the strongest terms against the practice of calling a brain-dead person a cabbage or a vegetable. Vegetables have feelings too.scold

Animals still have the option of running away when hunted. They can seek shelter against the sun, rain, and wind, while the poor vegetable is chained to the little piece of real estate where we have imprisoned him. There he must stand there day after day, in the sun, wind, and rain, enduring immense pain while rodents gnaw at his few remaining leaves that the frost of the previous night missed.help

Then, after we have robbed him of a carefree youth by propelling him into adulthood with the use of fertilizers, which is the plant equivalent of humans using anabolic steroids, we grab him by the hair, and jerk him out the ground, depriving him from his water and mineral supply to die an agonizing death. Plants take weeks to die, and when you consider the effect of the withdrawal symptoms (after we got him hooked on fertilizers) it is barbaric to say the least.frustrated

So when next time you cut up or shred a vegetable, know that it is probably still alive; yelling and moaning silently – all vegetables are mutes. Have compassion when you put salt on those fresh wounds and when you put it in the boiling water, think of the pain and suffering that you are causing. But given the life of misery already endured, death may come as a mercy.sigh

I’m sorry if this blog has upset you, but vegetables cannot speak for themselves and somebody has to speak up on their behalf. I don’t think I’ll eat vegetables again. Hmm, I think I must make a good green bean stew for tonight.giggle

The Mueller Merry-Go-Round - The Circus that never ends

How convenient is it that CNN was tipped off to be there to witness it live, for maximum propaganda impact? HA! Real collusion is between the deep state and the fake news. Meanwhile the real criminals roam free and are still in power. What a joke. Definitely not a load of sh-t!

Since when does the FBI alert a supposed news org. that an arrest is about to be made? They are usually made in the darkness of night with stealth. Something rotten in FBI.

Here's the absurdity of Stone's arrest:

One of the counts against him is failure to turn over some emails and texts.

HILLARY DESTROYED EMAILS, PHONES AND TEXTS WHILE UNDER SUBPOENA! NOT ONE CHARGE! ZERO??

Filming his arrest was red meat for liberal MSM.

Is it wrong?

What do I do or say say now? Is it wrong to have a birthday? In that case I do apologize to all involved for doing do. I meant no harm. I did not pick the day I was born on and it is not my fault if you did not enjoy yours.

But why am I apologizing? For the second time since I'm here, I ask you, am I such a piece of shit? Tell me now and I will leave because I have never done anybody no harm. I cannot help if you have a bee in your bonnet.

The previous time I posted a blog like this, CS preferred to delete the blog after two days but that was under other circumstances, so I say again, tell me now and I tell leave. I don't need this in my life.

The Trolls Of CS

While it cannot be denied that they keep the blogs interesting, there are limits to what we have to endure. To have a difference in opinion is one thing; the blogs would have been a drag if everybody was in agreement all of the time but to insult and/or defame other bloggers as a habit is inexcusable and there is a vast difference between mocking and insulting. mumbling

My first impressions were that there were many trolls here but it seems that I was wrong in that early assessment; we only have a handful but they have several profiles and that is why they don’t care about being banned or suspended. They simply carry on with their other identities and reincarnate with a brand new identity; often very civilized in the beginning to gain a few friends. Sometimes when you think that you are outnumbered, it is actually the same person coming at you with different identities. uh oh

I don’t know what drives a person to act nasty when on the Internet. It could be that they are that way in real life but I’m more inclined to believe that most of them are not like that at all. I believe that by insulting people whom they don’t know at all, they are trying to divert their thoughts away from their own insecurities. thumbs down

Being anonymous has the effect of giving insignificant non-entities a false sense of security, invisibility, and power. tongue
