Are You Jealous?
Yes, I am jealous, though just a little and outsiders will never know it. A little jealousy is good for a relationship and it should be shown sometimes. Just to let your partner know that you still care. Methinks that the one who claims not to be jealous, is either lying or simply does not care.
However, jealousy is often confused with a monster called possessiveness. This emotion drives people to violence. When you see it - unless if you like it when your life is controlled by somebody else - run for the hills! This is the guy or doll that is going to tell you who you may not be friends with, what you may not do, who you may not talk to, where you may not go to, what you may not wear, and even when you may not laugh. In fact, this person will try to take over your entire life and smother your personality.
Quite unlike a bit of healthy jealousy that is good for a relationship, possessiveness will kill it and trap you in a cocoon of fear or frustration. This person is obsessed with you, and may easily threaten murder or suicide if you should leave. And some will be capable of it. They are sick people.
There is another related emotion called ‘envy’. This is when you are ‘jealous’ of the achievements and possessions of other people and it drives people to inferiority, dishonesty and/or nastiness. I’m not going to dwell on that today. We see enough of it every day.
So when do I get jealous? I don’t mind a bit of light flirting, I‘m a shameless flirt myself but I always try to give my girlfriend or date more attention than all the others together. I expect more or less the same from her. I think that is only reasonable.
I don’t get jealous when a guy gives a lot of attention to my girlfriend or date. I rather like the idea if she is popular. It only underlines my good taste in women. However, if he is obviously irritating her, forcing him up to her, or if she ask me to, I will tell him off very politely the first time and if he does not respond accordingly, I’ll do it again but more to the point second time around.
If I feel that my girlfriend is paying too much attention to somebody, I’ll let it sleep for a few days before I tell her so. If she was just a date, I won’t tell her anything and if it continues after a second or third date, I simply won’t date her again.
So, in my opinion, it perfectly normal to be jealous and there is nothing wrong with it. It is the other two members of the family that we must guard against.

Just who is Michael Baxter of Real Raw News?
In response to: Site author “Michael Baxter” portrays himself as a reporter with access to privileged information. He cites unnamed sources who he claims are in day-to-day contact with Trump, and others who he claims are at Guantanamo Bay. He promises to check back with them regularly. He attributes direct quotes to named people. He issues corrections when he makes spelling errors or gets someone’s title wrong. A disclaimer added to its “About Us” page in April says the website contains “humor, parody and satire,” yet Baxter has defended the accuracy of his writings dozens of times in the comments sections on various articles.
“We don’t publish fake news,” he wrote in one such comment.
“The headlines can read like pretty straight news reporting, if you’re at all kind of susceptible to believing that this is really happening,” said John Gregory, a senior analyst at NewsGuard, a service that reviews and rates websites according to various journalistic criteria. “It doesn’t have some of the telltale signs of hoaxes or misinformation that we might see on other sites.”
In the alternative universe of Real Raw News, former Vice President Mike Pence has been on the run for months in an escape that saw him seek asylum in Qatar and take a bullet to the chest. Dr. Anthony Fauci, the White House’s chief medical adviser, hasn’t gotten his COVID-19 vaccine. The military has arrested dozens of public figures — including Hunter Biden, former Attorney General William Barr, and billionaire Bill Gates — and several of them have been hanged, sent to the guillotine, shot by a firing squad or otherwise executed.
Of course, none of that is true. But these headlines haven’t stopped the site from building a following. Though the website has been publishing for less than 10 months, mentions of Real Raw News, realrawnews.com and related hashtags have more than doubled across social media, broadcast and traditional media, and online sites within the last two months, according to an analysis from Zignal Labs Inc., a media intelligence firm. Several stories from that time frame got thousands of shares on Twitter and Facebook.
“We have this assumption that most people can spot that this is a fake news site, and therefore it’s not impactful,” said Rachel Moran, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Washington’s Center for an Informed Public. “But I just don’t think that’s the case anymore.”
After debunking more than a dozen claims in 2021 that originated on Real Raw News, PolitiFact decided to investigate the website and who was behind it.

Who Sleeps With Whom?
What we write in our blogs reveals our souls and it exposes us to the bone in the process. What we say and how we say it is the most obvious telltales of our personalities, but what we don’t say, can give away just as much. People read between the lines because every blogger has a distinctive undertone in all his or her blogs, be that goodwill, humor, loneliness, skepticism, scorn, bitterness, malice, or whatever. That undertone seldom deviates from the person.
Comment posters are not exempted from this. In fact, they are even more vulnerable to it, because comments are more spontaneous in nature than blogs. They come out at the spur of the moment whereas we plan our blogs and have plenty of time to sanitize them before posting it.
Reading comments is interesting and tells us a lot about the author, but when you look a bit deeper, a more interesting pattern unfolds. Try to see who ignores whom, who comments on whose blogs, and note the nature of those comments to the different bloggers, and you can easily see who sleeps with whom.
In real life, we avoid the people we don’t like. Why can’t we do it here? Of course, we may disagree with another person’s view on a topic and we are free to state such disagreement, but why do we have to criticize the person? Is he or she not entitled to certain a view same as we are? Do we have to take it to a personal level?
It is not enough to state our disagreement and scoot off. We have to add a bit of acid to it. Perhaps we all have a bit of a troll in us, only closer to the surface with some than with others.
Enjoy this day and let’s try to show a little more respect to each other.

We Are Surrendering Without A War
Modern men are just lame, too passive and not standing for their rights; forever trying to be politically correct. This is mainly because they have been deprived of their pride – the privilege to care for their families.
It appears to be more advantageous to be gay. Somehow, it is perfectly acceptable to say you want to be a woman, but when you try to be a man, everybody jumps on the bandwagon. Women are not satisfied with equality. They want to dominate, and in the process, they are causing men to feel uncomfortable about being men. Men no longer care about being a ‘real man’. All they strive for is to be politically correct.
Men are avoiding long-term commitments altogether; buying a house is no longer considered to be a good investment, and no longer do they see a proper education as important. We are rapidly losing the basic building block of our civilization – the family, and children are raised without discipline or routine.
Well-off men refuse to get married because it is a one-sided venture that entitles women to half of their possessions and future earnings via a divorce settlement, even if they cheated. In the US the paternity fraud rate is as high as 30% in some states; think about it, three out of every ten children are raised and supported by unsuspecting men, fraudulently convinced that they are caring for their own offspring(*). With the average cost of raising a child to the age of 18, now standing at 245,000 US$, we are talking about a major crime.
Neither men nor women need to dominate. We are about equal in numbers. It is only in the higher age brackets that women have superior numbers. That is only because men die earlier… after working all their lives to provide their families with a comfortable old age. The mere fact that 80% of all residents in retirement centers are women enjoying a comfortable old age – thanks to the efforts of a late husband, can testify to that.
Modern men no longer see provision as paramount and sometimes, when you see the fruit of a lifetime’s labor being squandered on a toy boy, it can easily be understood. Men are rejecting the idea of being a ‘real man’, because there’s no logical reason to be one. They are trying to avoid a situation that places them at a disadvantage.
The countries in the West with their sophisticated constitutions and so-called human rights bills are getting weak, and in the end, we will be over-run by the countries where men are still allowed to be men. There will be nobody to defend against them because our men will no longer be men.
It happened in Rome and history will still repeat itself. And it may just happen that the dis-empowered men of the West, having nothing to defend, will see the invaders as liberators. We are digging our own graves.

Porcupine Pie
According to Neil Diamond, you have to eat it with gloves or your hands will turn green. I never had it in pie form; we barbecue them on a rotisserie like a whole chicken. I also like rabbit done in this way. I have eaten a lot of porcupine in my life and my hands have never turned green. So it must be just another folk tale. Or maybe it means that if you eat porcupine without gloves, you will become a good gardener.
Another myth about porcupines is that they can ‘shoot’ their quills about three meters far. The truth is that when they are chased, they suddenly stop when the chaser gets close. Whatever is chasing him then runs into him, collecting a few quills for his trouble. Therefore, it is a pretty harmless creature for as long as you don’t chase it blindly.
What is not a myth is that they can ruin a potato crop if you don’t keep the local population in check. They multiply quickly. My friend, who adopted my previous dogs, grows potatoes on a commercial scale. Whenever they get out of hand, they have to be culled. It serves a double purpose. The crop is saved and it is good meat for the table.
They are small animals, only slightly larger than a rabbit and not worth a bullet. Their quills cause them to look larger than life and form a natural armor coating; small caliber bullets like the .22 more than often ricochet off it. We hunt them with pitch forks, failing that garden forks will do equally well. We form a line, spaced about four meters apart, and move through the potato fields over a broad front. A farm worker will follow to collect the fallen porcupines. It is a lot of meat for everybody and very tasty on top of it.

Man Haters.
There was a time when we saw a lot of blogs running men down. For some reason or another, we don’t see them that often lately but when you read some of the comments on the blogs, man haters are still alive and well and thriving in Blogland. Which is peculiar; after all, this is a dating site.
The strange part of it is that the blogs where these anti-male comments appear are seldom about men, so the hate must be very close to the surface. And it is not just random members; it is mostly the same faces. Another odd thing is that most such comments are not really insulting men; they rather carry an undertone of dislike, bitterness, and distrust towards men although some of them are downright offending if not slanderous.
I said it a few times before that writing reveals our souls but when we write a blog, we have the time to sanitize it somewhat though the undertones are subconscious and can never be hidden. Comments on the other hand, are more impulsive and we have less time to think about it. The true self shows much clearer in a comment.
Yes, I know we see the same thing done by men from time to time but not even nearly as often as what the ladies can manage it. Of course being a male, I may not notice it as easy.
It would seem (to me) that men forgiveand forget easier than women do; or do we just hide our feelings deeper?
