Oversensitivity
As long as there is something about you that causes you to feel bitter, inferior or ashamed, the mere mention of certain words will hurt you. I said it many times before and I’ll say it again; words cannot hurt until you give it the power to do so. Only then can they hurt you. 
Some of the causes for hurt may be being dyslexic, stuttering, wearing glasses, having lost a limb, being born cripple, blind or deaf and too many other things to list here. We’re talking about things that you cannot change; things that are neither disgraceful nor scandalous. And until you can make peace with yourself, they will continue to hurt when people talk about it.
And if the reason for your hurt is something you can change, like bad teeth or untidy hair, or is due to intolerance to others, I have no sympathy with you for you are making yourself unhappy. If you don’t like homosexuals or hunting or if you don’t eat meat, you cannot expect the rest of the world to agree with your views. You either fix it you have to tolerate it.
Insults normally come to you as a statement of contempt and there are several ways to deal with it, depending on whether the insult is based on the truth and also whether the insult is based on disgraceful behavior on your behalf or just plain pettiness.
If the statement is based on ill behavior on your behalf, it is not going to help to trade insults with your quarry. This is not just words; it is the truth and it is embarrassing. We are not always proud of our actions. Nevertheless, admit that you were wrong, apologize for the indiscretion and not only have you gained the respect of the people around you but you also have taken the wind out of your enemy’s sails. Your enemy has nothing further on you and if he wants to proceed with his assault he must resort to lies and/or pettiness.
If the statement is untrue, it is not an insult but a lie. There is very little you can do about it… and unless if you can expose the lie in one swift and final stroke, ignore it. Those who know you will see it for what it really is; a common lie. If you try to defend yourself against it, it can only create a perception that there may just be some element of truth in it.
Then there is the third category; normally the tactics that slimeballs employ to hurt innocent people. The attempted insult is true but it is based on pettiness rather than shameful behavior. This is not an insult but we perceive it as an insult because we resent the truth; we feel bitter, ashamed or inferior about something that we cannot help for.
Don’t waste your time on shit you cannot change; don’t fall into the bottomless pit of self-pity because of something that you don’t like about yourself. I’m sure most of us have viewed a few profiles while on dating sites. Sometimes we just scan it briefly or maybe only partially while other times we read it attentively. Sometimes you may read it even several times.
What is it that makes you pay more attention to a specific profile? Was it the picture or was it some word(s) in there that captured your attention. Is it some special characteristic that you seek?
And most of all; what does your profile try to tell us. What is the single most important thing you try to convey when a person read your profile or do you think that a good looking picture is enough?

Are Love And Happiness Mutually Inclusive?
We all seek love; believing it will make us happy. Nothing can be further from the truth. Love on its own cannot make us happy and it is perfectly possible to be happy without it. Love is only one component of happiness.
Please note that I’m talking specifically about the love between a man and a woman here.
Happiness is not an emotion; it is a state of mind. But it does not come by itself. You have to work on it constantly. You have to make other people happy so they can contribute to your happiness as well.
We often confuse the euphoria of being in love with happiness. It only temporary blinds us from all the other things that make us unhappy. It will soon wear off. Our unhappiness with other things will have a negative impact on our love and pull it down as well. We have to be happy to enjoy unrestricted love.
Many things can make you unhappy but only you can make you happy. To be happy you must be satisfied with your life. You cannot claim to be happy while you hate your job, your house, or your sister-in-law. You have to identify and eliminate the things that make you unhappy. (Don’t eliminate your sister-in-law. It will bring more unhappiness. You won’t get away with 10 months.)
Take stock of the things that make you unhappy. Rectify the things that you can change, and then re-evaluate the things that you cannot change and accept that you cannot change it. Contentment is the first step towards happiness.
Love is not self-sustaining and does not bring lasting happiness, but it thrives on it. Work on your happiness and love will soon follow.
Remember that today is the first day of the rest of your life. Get a good start!

The Myth Of On-Line Friends
The definition of friends differs vastly on-line when compared to real life. On-line friendship appears to be a pseudo relationship that will last for only as long as it is beneficial to both parties and what may appear to be your best friend today, may become a sworn enemy overnight.
The farcical relationship between two on-line friends displays a zero tolerance to the imperfections of the other parties. It will only survive for as long as you tickle the ears of your on-line friends. Friendship in real life is much more robust and resilient against differences in opinion or views while minor squabbles are laid to rest so much easier.
On-line friendship is volatile and turbulent; it needs something to feed on. We strive to say what pleases our on-line friends, in fact we try so hard to sound politically correct to our friends that don’t say what we really mean; all in an effort to preserve the friendship, but it real life we’re not scared of such issues and such frail friendships are not even worth mentioning.
Friendship on-line is an illusion. In real life, you won’t even count cyber friends as acquaintances; simply because you don’t know them. Yet, we call strangers our friends while we don’t know anything about them. For all we know, our best friends on-line may be perverts, p*dophile, ex-convicts, scammers or any of the likes.
It is true that birds of feather flock together; we communicate with those with more or less the same outlook, but can we really call them friends? I'm not so sure if they satisfy the general criteria of being friends.

The Prodigal Son
I was almost converted when I read the chronicles of the prodigal son. He must have loved it to read his own eulogy and was probably getting dressed to attend his own funeral when a sorceress resurrected him. A perfect example of how the result can justify the method. 
And when I speculate about the (self-imposed??) exile in Babylon I get no wiser. It is hard to discern who is following the script and who is playing by ear. I detect a smokescreen here and cannot help to wonder if the accomplice is part of the setup or if she is just being played as well.
I would have placed my own
on the tombstone... had I not known for a fact that the prodigal son had access to an internet-connected device on Friday, August 23 which casts serious doubts over a lot of things in and around the confessions of both the sorceress as well as the accomplice. But then, was she (the accomplice) in the loop? Knowing the extent of his imagination, nothing is impossible. I think we all remember some previous attempts at gaining attention and sympathy.
About the Internet appearance on the 23rd, it is a pity that I did not bother to retain a copy of the now destroyed blog. But I believe enough people read it. A few even commented on the immorality of the contents. Of course it was him, or otherwise, he has a very good copycat on his tail and I don’t believe that.
So now all we need to do is to wait for the prodigal son to return so we can feast on the fatted calf.
But then all this is just speculation, conjecture and/or opinion.

A Minute Of Your Time?
Can you give me a minute of your time? Of course not, you cannot save, give away, receive or spend time; it is just a figure of speech. And yet, there is an abundance of it in the universe, which is defined qualitatively and quantitatively by time, space and matter.
Of all the things in the universe, time is the single item that science finds hardest to explain and all we can do is to do as much as we can as it relentlessly walks on; or we can sit idle, simply watch it goes by. It waits for no one.
Time compares well with the three stages of water.
The past is frozen solid; it starts now and stretches back to the beginning; whenever that was. There is nothing we can do to change it. Yes, we can correct the effects of the mistakes we made yesterday but we cannot undo them. What is done is done. An apology does not undo your previous action; it only admits to making a mistake. We cannot save a position and restore to it when things work out wrong.
The future is hidden; an impenetrable steam vapor that nobody can see through. Some people claim that they can but that is a topic on its own. It starts now and stretches forward into eternity.

I don't mean to to come and spread negativity in our blog world today but boy I'm having one of those days where I just want to sulk down in the bottom of the ocean. ...
I mean it's a very beautiful day in spring but my flowers are all eaten up by bugs and it happened so fast.
On my porch are beautiful begonias and orange flowers, so beautiful yesterday, I woke up and boy golly nothing is left of the leaves and flowers.
I know what to do, go and get me pesticides which I absolutely dislike.
Just sharing my not too shiny day. I hope my son will call me.
I should fly back to California this July 4th.

This isn't a comparison, just addressing lies from blind demonrats.
I think all of the Biden supporters are happy about this never before seen price of fuel.
They must all be rich and never get affected by it. I am not going anywhere anymore because a full tank of my car costs me over a hundred bucks. Yikes.
I'm not comparing the price from last week or month but during the last administration and today.
