Kanye West Was Tucker Carlson’s Ultimate Grievance Interview

Though you might not think so at first, the musical artist Kanye West and the Fox News host Tucker Carlson actually have a lot in common. Both men are very famous, and also very irritating. Both are sometimes remembered, sartorially speaking, for their preppier periods. Both have reached the peaks of success in their respective spheres within American mass media; both have chosen to use their platforms to pretend loudly and often that their platforms—and your freedoms—are actually in imminent jeopardy, thanks to the thought plague known as cancel culture. Did I mention that both men are very irritating?

It was only a matter of time before West and Carlson combined forces in a maelstrom of risible nonsense. That long-awaited moment finally came to pass on Thursday’s episode of Tucker Carlson Tonight, which was wholly devoted to a pretaped interview with West, who made a lot of people angry this week when he wore a dumb T-shirt to a fashion show. On Monday, both West and conservative commentator Candace Owens wore shirts reading “White Lives Matter” to West’s fashion show in Paris. The shirt, which also featured a large photograph of Pope John Paul II for some reason, was part of West’s latest collection—which, according to the New York Times, he introduced with a “rambling speech about critics who complained about his shows being late; … the pain of being called ‘crazy’; critics who complained that his clothes might not be well made,” and many other things. Classic Fashion Week drama!

Tucker Carlson, of course, lives for Fashion Week drama, and so he had West on his show to discuss how unfair it was that nobody liked his ugly, antagonistic shirt. “The response from the fashion industry and the international media was instantaneous and uniform: shock, horror, rage,” said Carlson at the outset of the hour-long discussion. In it, West rambled about his parents, announced that he chose to wear a “White Lives Matter” shirt “because they do ,” and spoke about how political forces had attempted to manipulate him back when he was married to Kim Kardashian. “We’ve rarely heard a man speak so honestly and so movingly about what he believes,” Carlson said. I skipped the first quarter of Thursday Night Football to watch this.

Kamala Harris facing White House sabotage - It's a whisper campaign

Top White House officials are mobilizing to defend Vice President Kamala Harris amid a gusher of leaks about dysfunction and infighting in her office.

White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain told Axios in a statement: "The President's trust and confidence in her is obvious when you see them in the Oval Office together." Biden senior adviser Cedric Richmond said in an interview late Thursday night: "It’s a whisper campaign designed to sabotage her."

Their responses came after Axios approached the White House with new reporting about growing tensions between West Wing officials and the Harris team, including chief of staff Tina Flournoy.

Some White House officials have been frustrated by a series of missteps from Harris and increasingly public bickering in her orbit, which spilled out in a Politico story on Wednesday. Flournoy's old boss, former President Bill Clinton, came to her defense with a statement calling her "an extraordinary person."
Why it matters: 2024 is the elephant in the room. While Biden aides overwhelmingly believe he'll be the Democratic nominee, they also know he'd be 81 when seeking re-election.

An operation sometimes visibly out of sync with Biden's — and missteps during a recent trip to the U.S.-Mexico border, following a scrutinized interview with NBC's Lester Holt — have reignited questions from Harris' 2020 primary bid.
Harris would be the presumptive nominee if Biden didn't run. Administration sources believe it would be nearly impossible to unseat the first Black woman vice president.
Yet many Democrats, including some current senior administration officials, are concerned she could not defeat whomever the Republican Party puts up — even if it were Donald Trump.

One Democratic operative tells Axios' Alayna Treene that most Democrats aren't saying, "'Oh, no, our heir apparent is f***ing up, what are we gonna do?’ It's more that people think, 'Oh, she’s f***ing up, maybe she shouldn't be the heir apparent.'"
Some Democrats close to the White House are increasingly concerned about Harris’s handling of high-profile issues and political tone deafness, and question her ability to maintain the coalition that Biden rode to the White House, sources tell Axios' Hans Nichols.
What we're hearing: Relations between the West Wing and the Vice President's office are tense.

Several administration officials used "shitshow" when describing Harris' office, and contrast her operation with disciplined, virtually leakproof Biden aides.
Some Biden officials view the Harris operation as poorly-managed and staffed with people who don't have long-term relationships with her. They feel she's gotten bad advice from her press and communications shop and think it's telling that she's already lost two advance aides and a digital director.

Are there 2 Presidents in this photo?

A remarkable photograph purportedly showing a “young Vladimir Putin” spying on US President Ronald Reagan in 1988 has resurfaced online.

Embedded image from another site

Putin would be the man behind the young boy with a camera around his neck.

The incredible image was shared on Instagram by Pete Souza, a photographer who worked at the White House under the Reagan and Obama administrations.

It was taken during Reagan’s visit to Moscow in 1988 and appears to show a young Putin posing as a tourist to get close to the US leader.

Writing alongside the striking image, Souza detailed the story behind it and the reasons that have led him to believe the man pictured is, indeed, Putin.

“In 1988, I photographed President Reagan during his visit to Moscow,” he begins.

“Mikhail Gorbachev, the leader of the then Soviet Union, gave Reagan a tour of Red Square where groups of “tourists” (KGB agents?) were positioned around the square.”

In the photograph, President Reagan can be seen shaking hands with a young boy.

Several men are surrounding the US President, however Souza urged followers to “note the man on the left with the camera around his neck.”

Incredibly, the photographer only picked up on the potential significance of the image more than a decade after he first took it.

MULTICULTURALISM

What does multiculturalism mean? Well to me it means that through migration a country can undergo huge changes. With an influx of different races of people, you get a change to the architecture of towns and cities. Suddenly mosques appear. Areas become concentrated with separate communities that don't integrate, or want to integrate. People still communicate with their own language. There is a large increase in certain types of crime, including, gun crime, knife crime, drugs, drive by shootings, muggings, rivalry between gangs and sometimes due to religious differences eg Hindus against Muslims. A recent example was in the city of Leicester where riots broke out between Hindus and Muslims.
Thousands of illegal immigrants entering a country exasserbates the situation, when they are left to roam the streets.
Multiculturalism doesn't appear to work from what I have seen living near a city which is promoted as being proud to be such a good example.

Some useful information...

Living by these 4 simple life-truths can encourage better quality life, and dating relationships:

- True fulfillment comes from thinking beyond yourself
Meaning and purpose are heightened by helping others and by looking at life beyond your own needs and desires. Helping others without seeking validation for yourself is a priceless way to add value to others’ lives and make a difference. The emotional rewards are immense.

- Congruency adds to contentment and peace of mind
When your ideal self (the image you show to others) and your actual self (the real vulnerable you) are congruent, amazing things occur. When your ideal-self and actual-self match and are the same, contentment and peace of mind are attainable. This is because you feel ‘at one’ and show the world your true essential self. You can help yourself towards inner and outer congruency by sticking to your goals and values, even in the face of opposition. Never change yourself to please others.

- Happiness is a fleeting feeling
There is a common misconception that happiness is a consistent state of being. A feeling or emotion that lasts for hours on end. The truth is that happiness is a fleeting emotion. It appears, sometimes we acknowledge its presence, and then it disappears. The last time I felt this brief burst of joy was when I danced around my bedroom to one of my favorite songs. I remember thinking, “I feel very happy right now.”

- We all want love and acceptance
No matter who you are or where you are, love is a feeling that we all want to experience. Feeling loved validates us and helps us to feel important. Whenever you don’t understand someone or feel detached from them, remind yourself that they too, just like you, want to be loved and accepted. I have never met anyone who disagrees with this life truth, and the ‘Universal' Golden Rule is the perfect reminder for us all.
