Members of the national guard, emergency workers, rank-and-file Americans: all are exposed. Yet Trump appears incapable of emoting anything that comes close to heart-felt concern. Or just providing straight answers.
Rather, he is acting like Jefferson Davis, the president of the Confederate States of America: repeatedly letting governors know the burden of shoring up their sick, their doctors and their people falls on their shoulders first. The national government? It’s the world’s greatest backstop.
Remember when the Republican party freaked out about Barack Obama and the US “leading from behind” abroad? Remember the howls that evoked from GOP leaders? Those days are gone. Welcome to what Martin O’Malley, a Democratic former governor of Maryland, calls the “Darwinian approach to federalism”.
Trump is telling NFL owners he wants the season to start on time. He is disregarding Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advice on wearing facemasks in public. And he is touting untested coronavirus cures live on national TV.
Think Trump University on steroids, only this time we all stand to be the victims.
When Dr Anthony Fauci says there is no evidence to back up Trump’s claims surrounding hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malaria drug, pay attention. The fact Jared Kushner is on the case is hardly reassuring. He’s the guy who thought firing James Comey was win-win politics and promised Middle East peace in our time.
While all this is going on, the Wisconsin Republican party is giving America a taste of the campaign to come in the fall. Right now, the Badger State GOP is fighting in the US supreme court efforts to extend mail-in voting for this Tuesday’s Democratic primary.
In other words, voters will be forced to choose between foregoing their rights and risking their lives. Democracy shouldn’t work that way.
Back in the day, Republicans looked upon absentee voting as a valuable adjunct, a key piece in the party’s election day arsenal. Not anymore. Instead it is a dreaded foe, a fact readily admitted by Trump on Fox & Friends this week. If the US were to adopt mail-in voting, said the president, “you’d never have a Republican elected in this country again”.
For good measure, Trump later declared from the White House: “I think a lot of people cheat with mail-in voting.”
For the record, Trump voted by mail in 2018. In March, the Palm Beach Post reported that he had requested a mail-in vote for the Florida Republican primary.
There is nothing like populism marinated in wholesale contempt for the populace. In case Trump and the Republicans forgot, “We the People” are the constitution’s first three words.
Sadly, once again we are reminded that Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe’s masterpiece, Gladiator, is the movie for this presidency and its tumultuous times. In one scene, a senator, Gracchus, attempts to confront Commodus, the emperor, about a plague spreading through Rome. The emperor declines, threatens the senator and muses about disbanding the Senate.
On Thursday, Trump forced the removal of Captain Brett Crozier from his command of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt, for having the temerity to plead his sailors’ case as more than 100 of them tested positive for coronavirus.
If you can leave your soldiers to suffer then no American is truly safe, no matter what Jeanine Pirro may say. Crozier left the ship to the cheers of the crew – then reportedly tested positive himself.

January , I went to visit a friend in Thailand. I was surprised to see a huge box of face masks at the counter of FamilyMart located near the lobby of a popular hotel where there's no hospital nearby. In Manila where I have reunion with my American relatives, taxi drivers told me about an epidemic in China that they avoid Chinese tourists. It's known before the country's New Year, 5,000 Chinese from from Wuhan were allowed to travel around the world. The first death outside mainland China was in a Philippine hospital.
Local journalists and whistleblowers vanished
and the government is silent over disappearances.
Although WHO was informed, the crisis was not addressed
punctually ( waiting for China's instruction?)!
How do we know if China pays these big bosses of world organizations? Wuhan was granted 3.7 million dollars ( research and bio engineering of a virus?) through Dr. Fauci during Obama era and in 1917 he stated " a challenge on infectious disease... there will be a surprise outbreak "! So this was forseeable 'coz they were making virus? Take note of the last US-China Trade Deal signed last year, there's this clause that if there's a kind of pandemic, they will not honor the country's commitment.
This is more difficult than war because the perpetrators hide and we don't see the weapon they use. The one who spreads fear have power and ignorance is best for these evil tyrants to succeed. So good results for them would be mandatory implanted microchips in the skin to access not just info on the compulsory vaccination every year but also all elements to control us. These immunizations may make us weaker and dumb to think and protest against the New World Order agenda. Everybody will be busy listening and following their propaganda. Capitalism could be abolished and no democracy, freedom, democracy or liberty for anyone. Remember head of organisations and past presidents mentioned New World Order. One can read books on NWO, it's not a conspiracy theory.

“The torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans,” President John F. Kennedy said at his inaugural in 1961. Today, this generation is passing that torch to invite a new generation of barbarians to burn and loot and pillage, not serve and protect.
The modern urban mayor is epitomized by Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, who has chosen not to crack down on the barbarians torching his city, but encourages them to keep the flames hot because “The symbolism of a building cannot outweigh the importance of life.” That laughable, sophomoric statement isn’t going to save anyone or any structure.
That building is not a “symbol.” It has value to the person who owns it. And that’s the problem with Frey and the generation of snowflakes who are moving into positions of power and responsibility. Quite simply, they don’t believe in private property. In fact, they see private property as a genuine evil. So, of course, it doesn’t matter if you burn it. It’s not worth protecting.
We saw this same attitude in Baltimore in 2015 when Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake expressed the notion that protesters should be given space to destroy.
Rawlings-Blake put the rioters in the driver seat with predictable results. The riots over the death of a black man who died in the back of a police van cost small businesses $9 million and the city was out $20 million.
The damage in Minneapolis-St. Paul far exceeds what happened in Baltimore in 2015.
Meanwhile, seven people were shot during a demonstration in Louisville, “protesting” Floyd’s death and the death of an unarmed black woman shot in her apartment.
The protesters say they want “justice.” The rioters? Well, they just want to watch the world burn. You can’t have “justice” or freedom without order. Even the dead racist, anti-feminist white men who wrote the Constitution knew that. But the lesson has apparently escaped this generation of political leaders whose timidity in the face of violence and anarchy would be astonishing if it wasn’t expected.
When the pagan tribes, known to the Romans as “barbarians,” were at the gates of the city, the public didn’t demand the praetorians give the Vandals “space” to destroy. They wanted to be protected. They weren’t interested in the virtue-signaling of politicians. They wanted to be protected.
But to Rawlings-Blake, Frey, and this new snowflake generation of politicians raised not to offend but to take offense, and to fear everything, the idea of “protecting” against the anti-social thugs who are destroying civic order and their city never materializes.

After writing a condolence letter
It was a beautiful warm spring day. I decided to go for a walk in the woods.
Enjoying the beauty of a lovely day, I suddenly realized that I could hear no sounds. No cars, no airplans, no birds.
Something was wrong!
Suddenly I hear the roar of a lion!
A Lion ! Is there a zoo near here? No! Is there a circus nearby? I could not remember if I had read about one, but a lion can walk many kilometers a day. Why has there been no warning? The lion showed no interest in me and continued walking parallel to me about 10 meters away. My lucky day, The lion is not hungry. The silence was unbearable, so strange, then suddenly there was a strange roaring sound coming from the south, like thunder and lightening altogether.
The noise came nearer, it was not an ordinary storm, a hurricane? I should not be in these woods during a hurricane. A big branch falls down from the tree near me. If I stay here I am sure to be a nice easy meal for that lion. I have one option, get into the open. I ran, although I did not know where I was going, I thought, the lion may know, and I followed his path. 5 minutes later, I saw the wide opening with green like grass. It was a large opening and not one tree.
I lay down and did not look up, afraid to get something into my eyes.
My eyes are closed and I am lying on the ground. Suddenly I hear very heavy feet stampeding near me. I open my eyes and see the under foot of an elephant. I was right, circus animals are free, probably it happened because of the hurricane,
I look to see where is the elephant running to? Animals have a 7th sense to save themselves.
I see at to end of the opening a building? It is silver metal with small windows along all the length. More like an airplane than a building.
I decide to run into this silver metal thing. The opening is very large and has a low ramp. I look inside and see many animals. Several Lamas, sheep, goats and also the elephant.
It reminded me of Noah's ark, only the animals were not in pairs. On one side there were several people including some children. I went to sit on the ground next to them,
No one spoke, even the animals were quiet.
I sat there for hours and, fell asleep.
When I woke up, most of the animals were no longer inside and all people had left.
The sun is beaming into the vehicle. Only a few sheep and goats were still inside.
As there was no hurricane now, I decide to leave too,
Leaving by the ramp I saw that the place was a different place to where I went into the vehicle. The sky was blue, the sun was shining and exotic plantation caught my eyes.
I could hear water from the distance and decided to go an have a look.
There were pathways in all directions, so I used one of these paths so as not to tread on the beautiful exotic plants.
The sound of water was coming from a waterfall, Below I could see the water, shining in the sun. In the water I saw crocodiles, and ducks swimming on the water, a giraffe was drinking at the edge,
Now nothing more surprised me, nothing made sense. The animals you never would see in the same place all seemed happy to be near each other.
I continued walking the path, the vegetation was lush and so many exotic plants were flowering, it was like in a botany garden.
Everything was like in slow motion, like everyone had all the time in the world. The feeling was calm, warm, happy, content.
Am I dreaming? I pinch myself, no, I am awake! I decide to go back to the metallic silver vehicle.
I walk back, 2-3 people are sitting inside, I sit, getting sleepy.
A woman speaks: Awake! I will call the doctor!
The doctor comes into the room. He says: You were in a coma for 5 days, we had to revive you twice, once it took quite a long time.
Now I understand where I had been. I had a quick look into my future.
Later, looking at the news on the room TV I saw that there was a circus accident and that an elephant and one lion were killed. The circus was far away in a different country.

The silence was unbearable, so strange, then suddenly there was a strange roaring sound coming from the south, like thunder and lightening altogether.
The noise came nearer, it was not an ordinary storm, a hurricane? I should not be in these woods during a hurricane. A big branch falls down from the tree near me. If I stay here I am sure to be a nice easy meal for that lion. I have one option, get into the open. I ran, although I did not know where I was going, I thought, the lion may know, and I followed his path. 5 minutes later, I saw the wide opening with green like grass. It was a large opening and not one tree.
I lay down and did not look up, afraid to get something into my eyes.
My eyes are closed and I am lying on the ground. Suddenly I hear very heavy feet stampeding near me. I open my eyes and see the under foot of an elephant. I was right, circus animals are free, probably it happened because of the hurricane,
I look to see where is the elephant running to? Animals have a 7th sense to save themselves.
I see at to end of the opening a building? It is silver metal with small windows along all the length. More like an airplane than a building.
I decide to run into this silver metal thing. The opening is very large and has a low ramp. I look inside and see many animals. Several Lamas, sheep, goats and also the elephant.
It reminded me of Noah's ark, only the animals were not in pairs. On one side there were several people including some children. I went to sit on the ground next to them,
No one spoke, even the animals were quiet.
I sat there for hours and, fell asleep.
When I woke up, most of the animals were no longer inside and all people had left.
The sun is beaming into the vehicle. Only a few sheep and goats were still inside.
As there was no hurricane now, I decide to leave too,
Leaving by the ramp I saw that the place was a different place to where I went into the vehicle. The sky was blue, the sun was shining and exotic plantation caught my eyes.
I could hear water from the distance and decided to go an have a look.
There were pathways in all directions, so I used one of these paths so as not to tread on the beautiful exotic plants.
The sound of water was coming from a waterfall, Below I could see the water, shining in the sun. In the water I saw crocodiles, and ducks swimming on the water, a giraffe was drinking at the edge,
Now nothing more surprised me, nothing made sense. The animals you never would see in the same place all seemed happy to be near each other.
I continued walking the path, the vegetation was lush and so many exotic plants were flowering, it was like in a botany garden.
Everything was like in slow motion, like everyone had all the time in the world. The feeling was calm, warm, happy, content.
Am I dreaming? I pinch myself, no, I am awake! I decide to go back to the metallic silver vehicle.
I walk back, 2-3 people are sitting inside, I sit, getting sleepy.
A woman speaks: Awake! I will call the doctor!
The doctor comes into the room. He says: You were in a coma for 5 days, we had to revive you twice, once it took quite a long time.
Now I understand where I had been. I had a quick look into my future.
Later, looking at the news on the room TV I saw that there was a circus accident and that an elephant and one lion were killed. The circus was far away in a different country.
