What is the point of understanding personality types? Since everyone is unique, the idea of cramming people into categories seems odious. And even if personality types were somehow theoretically valid, they would probably be either too academic to be helpful in our daily lives or too vague to be meaningful—grab bags anyone can read anything into.
Our fellow human beings compel our attention because they are easily the most changeable, infuriating, pleasurable, and mystifying objects in the environment. It would be impossible for most of us to spend a day without coming into direct or indirect contact with dozens of people—family, friends, people on the street, at the office, on television, in our fantasies, and in our fears.
People are everywhere, having all sorts of impacts on us—for better or worse.

There may even have been times when we realized that we did not know ourselves. The behavior of others—and even our own behavior—is, at times, strange and unsettling. Odd things keep popping up, or seem to be out of place. Some of these surprises can be pleasant, but some are decidedly unpleasant, having calamitous effects upon us far into the future.
This is why, if we are too unthinking about the personality types in which human nature expresses itself, we run the risk of disaster. The person we thought we knew may turn out to be a monster or hopelessly self-centered. We may find that we have been callously used or that our legitimate needs have been selfishly ignored. Unless we have insight, we can be terribly abused. The opposite is equally true: unless we have insight, we may overlook a diamond in the rough, or be too quick to get out of a relationship which is actually worth saving. Without insight, we may be hurt or foolish, and either way end in unhappiness.

The problem is, however, that while everyone wants insight into others, few people are as willing to look so intently at themselves. We want to know what makes other people tick, yet we are afraid to discover anything upsettingabout ourselves. Today's competitive culture has shifted the emphasis of the ancient injunction of the oracle at Delphi from "know thyself" to "psych out the other guy." We would like to be able to figure out people as if we had X-ray vision, while not wanting others to see our weaknesses and shortcomings. We do not want anyone, including us, to see us as we really are. Unfortunately, something necessary and valuable—looking at ourselves with the same objective eye with which we view others—has been lost.
We have everything upside down. To correct this, we should remember Kierkegaard's advice. He suggested that we become subjective toward others and objective toward ourselves. That is, when we judge the actions of others, we should put ourselves in their place, trying to understand how they see themselves and their world. And when we judge ourselves, we should see ourselves as others see us, overcoming the ease with which we find extenuating circumstances for ourselves. Of course, Kierkegaard's suggestion is very difficult to put into practice. We need to cut through vanity and self-deception when we look at ourselves, as well as cynicism and defensiveness when we examine others. We must have courage toward ourselves and empathy toward others.
How can we acquire the knowledge and sensitivity we need? How can we begin to make sense of the vast diversity of human personality? How can we develop insight so that we can lead fuller, happier lives?
The answer is paradoxical: we will discover that we cannot really know anyone else until we know ourselves, and we cannot really know ourselves until we know others. The solution to this seeming conundrum is that understanding ourselves and understanding others are really two sides of the same coin—understanding human nature.

And rarely, when things go well in this important regard, wouldn't you know it, the buddy's female partner turns out to be difficult? Some are deep into the bottle---never good for socializing with many of us. More often, usually in hen pecked situations, where exquisite control over hubby's existence is paramount, any one taking the wusse's time from her is a threat. And of course there is jealousy, or worse, little wifey isn't getting it, and she casts her wanton glances at the latest new swinging d*ck, often in sequence. And who can overlook garden variety personality disordered driven behaviors? Do we just end the friendship, or practice deceitful subterfuge for avoidance? Over the years, Bob, David, and now it's Eric. But these days, such problems are even more rare.

Was going to write on sleep hygiene, or issues north and south/east and west, nationalism speaking, but C's blog got me coveting my CS neighbor's goods. A visit from the CS cyberscrutinizer? How unfair. With all my highly copious and acerbic ranting here, and not a few bidirectional personal attacks, on everything from my intelligence, to my stature, to my age appropriate shrinking manhood,----well, my envy almost got the best of me, my fair minded CS fellow bozos on the bus. So this BLOG. Don't you all think it unfair that I am being so cavalierly and unjustly overlooked? Why, for all I do to stirr things up here, and to get a few limited number of brain neurons French kissing, you'd think that CS would visit me. Not merely on the shamelessly lavishly appointed CS member home visit traveling van. But in the IT ether herself, AND a few nights on the manicured VIERK mansion kilometer long driveways. With all holds on the van chock full of wonderful and expensive presents, for..........................................ME! The servants would be glad to haul it all into one of the guest cottages. Ah, but long ago, in another life, concerning jealousies, I learned---that it's not a fair universe, and---"Eifersucht ist eine Leidenschaft,-wer mit Eifer sucht, was Leiden schaft". Hope this isn't the hook for the VIERK. Alors, Pereat les narcissismes, sur CS.

Happy New Year!

For the past few years, pretty much ever since I got out of the navy, I have had a relatively big fear of holding a gun in my hands. I know, this sounds silly, with me expressing a desire to join the army and everything. But one of my biggest fears, is actually guns. It's weird, because I have no issue with violent shooter video games. I think it's because I know that video games aren't real. The gun I am holding isn't a real gun, and the people that I shoot aren't real people. The same thing with movies. I know that the guns shot in movies are dummy guns, shooting blanks. Whenever someone dies, from being shot, in a movie, it's fake. The person is alright at the end of the take.

In order to combat that fear, I have begun watching YouTube channels, with guns as the main focus. Demolition Ranch is one of them. That channel practices safe gun handling, as well as educating people on the guns used. I used to watch FPS Russia as well, since that channel was meant to entertain about gun safety, as well as demonstrating just how destructive a gun really is. I found another gun channel, called Hickok45, which is being described, as a "drama-free, "family-friendly" shooting channel". I have yet to dig into the videos, but the titles and thumbnails look interesting.

Now, I want to attend a gun range at some point in my life. It would then seem fitting, that I visit one when I am in New York. I just need to figure out which one to visit, since there are a LOT of ranges to pick from. It has to be one that gives clear and good instructions, regarding safety, posture, education about the guns and generally makes me comfortable with shooting a gun.

This is where you come in: Do you know of any gun range in the Albany/Troy area, that practices any of the things I have listed? I would love to go to an outdoor range, if possible. Not a requirement, though :)

The Story goes, that there is a lion in Heaven who guards the 9 gates in which We enter through.
So, since there are 9 gates they needed 9 lions to guard it, in turn the guardian to the gate created 9 lions of the same lion. Keeping in mind that the guardian has many tools at his disposal one being creating or doubling up.

To Us hes a harmless kitten, the ones who are forbidden entry, hes a giant, his head is the size of a house, and he eats their heads off. Literally. But that is not to say we do not go through the same process. Only difference is We dont lose our Heads.

So the guard and the lion whom both willingly serve all who live in Heaven protect the 9 gates for all eternity. Until the day someone finds a way around them, so that others may enter too.

But Our Father has anticipated this eventuality, because of the nature of the beast. as they say.

Imagine, if you will, that the Gates of Heaven acts like a Highly protected Computer, He is the User and His Room is the Throne and Himself in One.
Complicated I know but we'll get to that perhaps in another blog, because yes it may take that long to reveal? lol.

Getting back to the PC, and like all computers they are prone to viruses, however this virus was born in the PC and was not aware of himself becoming the virus. Until the appointed time in which he does become one. So like any virus its removed completely from the system and the pc gets formatted with a new OS, but formatting the pc was not enough, since the virus is evolving over time after being extracted, and placed into a vault, that he has left sometimes.

So he creates a program, that counters the integrated virus within the pc both hardware and software and integrates over top of the virus. So that all the mini-users will have the option of use to both the old and new system while all getting permission through the new system. And so far it has worked flawlessly, see what you have failed to realize dear reader that The User loves all that he creates. virus included...
The User is giving the virus the chance to evolve into something more loving of his own status. Because unbeknown to the world the virus was one of the highly honored, which is why the virus has been forgiven so often, before the change in nature.
Even the User hopes, this time he will change...

Back to the PC story.
The User realises he needs a whole new system that not only completely eradicates the virus while leaving the system in-tact, but it stays that way for ALL eternity and can never be manipulated ever again as well as the pc itseelf including the Throne is altered. Given that the virus was an earlier made program in the earlier days of the making of the pc it has to be a NEW Program the virus has never had contact with., but at the same time using what is already available.

Now in relation to the lion and the guardian there is nothing they can do to stop him from coming and going. however his children may never given access only he is.
But the virus is removed every time faster than the previous times because over time the pc has been upgrading for sometime now.

So he knows that after removing the virus the first time formatting the PC and introducing the new system over top of the old system it worked quite well. So he adjusts the new system, and creates a growing and self sustaining firewall from the previous new system. The Firewall will burn out all the virus has integrated itself into, and continue to grow until the virus will have no place to go except to see the Master User. Because none of his own programs he uses are working to sustain his self. In the end he loses all but his life and is thrown into the dark vault, where all the other naughty children currently remain.

So here I am talking about looking for the best match but it seems in reality you can't find that real match the reality is that everyone or every thing is broken nothing is unbroken and you will have to fix your way into a relationship but it's worth the challenge when the person is going to be yours, keep searching far and wide you never know what the future holds for you.
