Act of humanity

I believe that the greatest crime is to learn something that can significantly benefit other people, yet share it with no one.

I rarely lose things...

I rarely lose things. But it's highly possible I could misplace something for years.
Right now, it's 2 things on my list.
The first, I paid $250 for a dimensional dental x-ray they put on CD for me that I need for an upcoming appointment with the endodontist. They handed it to me and left the office and went directly to my car. It's not in the passenger seat and it didn't make it to my attache.
The other is a special 22.2 volt model aircraft battery. I had 2 and this past summer, I retired one model that uses them. I brought it back into my lineup 2 weeks ago. Unable to find the original 2 batteries I bought 2 more. Nowhere to be found, I've been looking in tool boxes, along with other standard 11.1 volt batteries and maybe... just maybe they are in a plastic case that slipped under the seat of my car.

If I'm lucky, I'll find them along with the CD.

(Note to self: Get a plan to organize things)

Human nature...

It's been through the ages that people need something to complain about. They feel better after doing it. If CS didn't have Jim to obsess on, it would only be... Well, you know.

Halloween support group...

It's time. I call to order a meeting of the Halloween support group.
You've been holding out and it's time to open up about your problems.
Have a seat. Coffee and doughnuts are on the table.
Help yourself and get comfortable.
Take your time, we've go the whole night to discuss things.

Am I awake yet????

The answer has usually been yes whenever I have asked myself this question, although how many times I have asked it in my sleep I couldn't say. So, anyway, whenever I have thought myself to be awake, I have always treated it as a sign that I am awake, and the facts that I have had my senses about me and been capable or rational thought are things that I have always considered to be supporting evidence for my conclusion. But now I find that there is a school of thought that says you have to be a completely witless crackpot to be properly awake. This has turned my whole concept of wakefulness on it's head, and I don't know what to think any more.

I think I will need to sleep on it. sleep

Essence of Whole Spirituality

There are two main things in spirituality. one for inside deep unconscious mind. and another for the outer conscious mind.

For inner deep unconscious mind:
Stop reacting to your feelings, sorrows, pleasures. Start observing.

For outer conscious mind:
Give to others what you expect from others for yourself. And don't give to others what you don't expect from others for yourself.

Spiritual logic is very short and simple.

Yanking the chain or chaining the Yank

Having commented on several blogs and been given the order of the boot, along with other posters, in no uncertain manner by certain O.P.s I have to call in to question people's own mentality. There seems to be a group mentality on here of late which defeats the whole object of blogging. Control freaks springs to mind to say the least.

On one particular blog about libraries I found this interesting comment.

Antisocial personality disorder, sometimes called sociopathy, is a mental disorder in which a person consistently shows no regard for right and wrong and ignores the rights and feelings of others. People with antisocial personality disorder tend to antagonize, manipulate or treat others harshly or with callous indifference. They show no guilt or remorse for their behavior.

Common sense springs to mind that if you continually slag off others on here by calling them bastards, commie, d*ck heads, get back in the kitchen, do some knitting, the list is endless especially from one particular poster, are you not totally guilty of the one thing that you decry in others.

Answers on a postage stamp please.grin
