Get Outdoors and Explore US Parks and Forests

ATTN: Nature Lovers, Adventure Seekers, and anyone who could simply use some outdoor recreation,

"This weekend you can do something that really matters and make a real difference. We are making history and we need your help to do it: Our goal is to create a comprehensive US Parks & Forests online video library. We need your help to make it happen. In some places there is less than one-tenth of one-percent of the original wilderness left in existence.

Sadly, state and federal funding has ended at many of our nations wondrous and historical wilderness areas. Add to this, the Internet currently offers little, to no information about these ancient and beautiful places. They may soon be lost and forgotten forever. Unless we act now. We need videos of all these places to help bring public attention to them. Videos of these places, will inspire millions to get outdoors and spend time in nature. Videos of these wilderness areas, will help preserve them for the next generation. More than that ...

These videos will survive digitally for ever. People in the distant future, will be able to watch videos of our nations parks and forests - hundreds of years from now - and be able to see what earth was like during our time. Those future peoples will know that you, personally existed, if you become one of the volunteers that record one of these videos.

With your help, and the help of thousands of others, we are creating the worlds first comprehensive video library of over 10,000 U.S. Parks & Forests, making them available to everyone for free, forever. If you love nature as much as we do, we are asking you to travel to parks and forests in your area and film them. Later we hope to expand our video library to wilderness areas in other parts of the world.

Next time you plan a camping or hunting trip wouldn't it be helpful to have a video to watch that was recently recorded from inside the park or preserve? Today, you might not be able to find a single sentence anywhere on the web. So let's do something about that ...

We offer a complete list of over ten thousand US Parks & Forests. In addition to that, we have made checklists that will help you get the most out of your day trip to record this historic video footage. Our staff will do the video editing. All we need you to do is, visit wilderness areas near you and record them. If possible, speak with the park ranger, interview the locals ... learn as much about the park as possible. Any and all video footage of these parks is appreciated and extremely valuable.

Submit your videos, photos, stories to us. Our team will promptly review and publish your videos and articles through our websites, and with one-hundred Facebook Groups, sharing your videos and articles with millions of nature loving individuals, and to nearly ten-thousand Twitter followers.

Giraffe in snow

REALLY starting to worry about Eks now. Hoping all SA bloggers affected by blizzards are keeping well-wrapped up and warm hug

This pic one of several taken by a photographer called Kitty Viljoen near Graaff-Reinet (Eastern Cape) - fab photo, frightening implications. Hope this is a fleeting situation, I was in my 20s when it snowed early in September (spring in the southern hemisphere) and JHB came to a joyful stop but it was just a couple of days. In other words, doesn't happen often.

Maratika Namobuddha Lumbini Buddhist Tour - Healing & Meditation....

Last week we did a 10 days trip in Nepal. We got a group coming from different countries and collected in Kathmandu. We started up our Buddhist Tour on 10th of July from kathmandu to Maratika -260 kilometer/8 hours drive with 4WD Japanese jeep. In Maratika, we spent 2 nights and we did a wonderful meditation in Manjushree cave. It was such a powerful cave(spiritually). Then we came back to kathmandu then did a sightseeing with a wonderful tour guide in world heritage sites in kathmandu. Then took breathtaking scenic flight to Lumbini to the birth place of Lord Buddha. Spent 2 nights there too and back in Kathmandu with the same sort of flight. Then we went to NamoBuddha 2 hours drive in one of the loveliest Buddhist pilgrimage sites. All the tours we did with wonderful meditation and lovely healing in different monasteries and caves. heart beating heart beating heart beating heart beating heart beating heart beating

Eleven places I would like to visit in the future!

Once this whole pandemic is over, I would like to travel again. Jump on a flight somewhere for a week or two. While we have been in lockdown, I have written Eleven places down, and the reason for wanting to visit those place. So let's get into the list!

Number 11: Austria.

It goes without saying, that Austria is a true European gem. Amazing scenery, friendly people and great food. Austria is perhaps best known as the setting of the 1965 film The Sound Of Music, as well as numerous Bond films.

Number 10: Switzerland.

Switzerland is also one of those places that are so breathtaking. The nature is the main reason why I want to visit, since it's a fantastic place, with lots of fantastic sceneries

Number 9: Japan.

Tokyo is the place I would love to go, but I am just a little apprehensive regarding the size. Luckily, Japan is other than Tokyo. I would love to visit Hiroshima, to take in the spectacular beauty of that location

Number 8: The Philippines.

Anywhere that can boast having amazing food AND amazing views, automatically peaks my interest. I know a few people from the Philippines, and they have all recommended Cebu, as the place to go.

Number 7: Italy.

It had to be on this list! The country that gave us Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, pizza and other foods, as well as stylish brands, awesome scenery and the best accent ever! Italy is definitely a place I would visit!

Number 6: France.

I have been to Paris a few times, but I didn't really like it. Therefore, my focus is on the Champagne region. Why? Because champagne.

Number 5: Finland.

Any place that gets weird is a place I would love to visit! The Finns are the masters of weird. From wife run to extreme rallying in dense forests.

Number 4: Mexico.

I know Mexico might not seem like the obvious choice for tourism, but I would definitely love to visit! I would need to do some preparations regarding my trip, and follow the recommended advice from either the government or people who are from Mexico.

Number 3: New Zealand.

The Maori culture is one that is extremely interesting. I know a few people from New Zealand, and they are some of the friendliest people you can ever meet. Plus the scenery of New Zealand doesn't hurt either

Number 2: Australia.

Australia is high on my list, because of V8 supercars. And because the country is spectacularly beautiful!

Number one is perhaps not surprising to many people: The USA.

The Land of Opportunity, as some claim it to be. I have long had a desire to visit the United States of America. I even had a return flight to New York scheduled for May 1st, but I never managed to take the trip, because of the pandemic. Once it's over, and we are free to travel again, you best believe I am gonna book myself a trip to the United States.. How much do you want to bet something else will derail the trip?

time travel ...

we all experience some form of time travel , no matter where we are on the planet ,it can be summer in one country and winter in another ,the same applies with night and day,
but then you have countries with time zones so if you are travelling you usually gain time as you move into each zone , the usa has four time zones that can affect your travel ,russia has eleven which is no great surprise being that it is the biggest country on the planet, and yet france believe it or not has the most with 12 time zones ,
so man can really accomplish time travel all be it by the clock ,,
but is that it ,,,do we as individuals experience another form of time travel that some label as premonition
,,could it be that we actually did travel forward in time to see what might befall us in the near future ,,
with out ever feeling it ,or do we travel in our dreams ,,as we tend to some times vividly see a place or an event that has no special significance to us in reality ,,
nostradamus predicted many things long before they happened and they were frightfully true ,so did he travel forward in time ,,it certainly looks like he must have done ,,
and if that is the case then we all have the ability to travel in time ,and probably most of us have with out ever realising it ,
as i am sure we have all encountered being some where new for the very first time ,,and yet got the feeling you had been there before or even seeing some thing there that rings a bell with in you but you do not know why ,,,
and i am sure that many of you reading this will have encountered at least one experience in your time ,,
and as a foot note to this ,,then yes time travel does exist ,,but only going forward in time ,,as going back in time would serve no purpose what so ever ,,,or would it ,,,,,
