We both enjoyed listening to ghost stories but at the same time afraid of them.
After our lunch, I invited Mimi to my work place.
Me: Mimi, let me show you the storeroom I blogged about .

From virtual to reality. Many of you must have read MimiArt's blog about our meeting.

Yes, I met Mimi and her husband this morning and had a sumptuous lunch near my work place. She was a nice and friendly lady. A jovial one too. We chatted for hours at the restaurant. Luckily, the restaurant owner did not chase us out. Thank you Mimi and Art for the nice gift. Loved it.

Prior to the meeting, I told my friends about meeting an online friend. I told them Mimi was from Perak( one of the states in Malaysia) and married to an American. Both my friends were so worried for me. They were afraid I will be scammed or even worse , kidnapped.

Friend A( a long time friend) : Be careful. Don't fall for their sob story and don't go into their car. You never know.

Friend B is my colleague. I asked her if she was free this morning to accompany me. She laughed and laughed when I told her I will be meeting an online friend. Jokingly I told her if I don't come to work on Monday, please call the police. I may be kidnapped. She laughed again and said who would want to kidnap me. I said, you never know. They might sell my organs. Who would want your organs....you are not 100% healthy. Lol ...and we laughed at that joke. She couldn't accompanying me because she has to go back to her hometown.

In fact , this is not my first time meeting an online friends. Friendship across borders. More than 10 years ago, I was on a website( now defunct) similar to CS. I made many friends from all over the world. Most of them were bloggers. Over the years some of them came to Malaysia for holidays and I managed to meet them and gossiped about the bloggers especially those not from our team or shall I say, not of the same wavelength. There are all kinds of people in this type of social media, the jealousy type, the naive, the badass, friendly type , and of course the scammers. Well, life's too short to be serious all the time.

I'm quite new to this site especially the blog section. Now, how do I insert photos?

I often wonder if Florida governor Ron DeSantis is the antichrist as he's back to doing things that boxed him into issues that were unpopular with Florida voters.

The son of Immigrants, he rages against immigrants and once misappropriated funds to bus some illegals across Texas state line and drop them off at Martha's Vineyard with no approval or jurisdiction to do so.
He's anti-Disney, anti-gay, anti-woke, anti-books and now it's reported he's reaching out to send the Florida National Guard to guard the Mexico border.


C'mon Ron... pay attention to Florida, the state where you were elected to serve.

When Trump becomes POTUS later this year he will have a phenomenal task ahead one that is even bigger than when he takes up the reigns from Barack Obama.
The absolute mess made by Biden and his corrupt band handlers is a challenge only a man like Trump can accept, conquer and repair.

Fortunately he has overwhelming support from good solid Americans that still have good moral values, integrity and self respect.
Acting with integrity means understanding, accepting, and choosing to live in accordance with one's principles, which will include honesty, fairness, and decency. A person of integrity will consistently demonstrate good character by being free of corruption and hypocrisy.
Like he said the biggest deportation of illegals will take place as soon as he takes office.
Defusing the wars and all the ill will Biden has caused in the past 4 years will be a miracle in itself but the world knows that this brilliant businessman and leader who was persecuted by MSM and the democrats, for years, will have the strength and will-power to do this task.

Just a friendly warning, WANKERS not welcome

I have known a very good friend through online chat since 2006 or 2007. The distance wasn't a problem. He was a great and understanding friend. I could tell him my problems without being judged. These 10+ years, we had on and off friendship. We lost touch for several years until recently. I knew where to find him. He's here in CS and a famous blogger(not the most famous but one of the best) Though we have never met in reality but our friendship is still strong.

To this great friend, thank you for the friendship and being a good listener.

Recently, I had a shock of my life. I have been working at the same place for more than 30 years. During those 30 years I had never seen nor experienced the presence of the unseen. Heard many stories about the wondering spirits from my colleagues.

Recently , I experienced 2 occasions where I felt their presence and seen one.

Experience 1 : This particular day, I had to enter an abandoned storeroom to check on something. My colleagues told me not to go in alone, asked someone to accompany me. One of my colleagues who has third eye, told me she once saw a woman stood at the storeroom door. Being stubborn, I peeped inside and went in. Out of a sudden I felt my whole body shivering. I remembered what my colleagues told me. Quickly , I came out of the storeroom. Told the whole office about my experience and had an earful.

Experience 2: Happened last week.. Never crossed my mind that the toilet I had been using for more than 30 years has a wondering spirit. There are 3 cubicles. When I came out from the 1st cubicle, out of the corner of my eyes I saw someone walked into the 3rd cubicle. I thought it was my colleague. After washing my hands, I turned to look who it was. All three cubicles were empty.

I still use the same toilet.

Time Once Again To Find Out If Spring Arrives Or Folks In North Murka Will Suffer Six More weeks of White Hell.

I make it a point to keep quiet and also avoid arguments more these days because....

Things are booming. Uh huh. That is why people are getting evicted and homeless and are maxing cards and pay laters for Christmas shopping when they still haven't paid off last years.
I had a dentist appt so had to tough it out and leave farm to head into town. Well, if I HAVE to go to town, might as well catch up shopping.
Stopped at Goodwill. First time in over two years. Why did I bother? Prices on clothes are half of new prices in box stores. They are now peddling lots of new items. Bad enough to ask double the price the dollar store asked, but I should shop like a regular store too. Not!
Went to Dollar Tree. Gee, guess they finally got the Christmas inventory. Couldn't find what I wanted so total was small. Some things are a good deal. Others? Wow... 1.25 for glittered styrofoam or paper.
Went to Wally world. Inflation is down? Someone should tell them. Friend likes Miracle Whip. Idea for gifting. Oh now I see why he won't spend the cash. $5.38 for oil and flavoring. And same price for mayo with eggs and cream. Pass! I checked clearance prices on clothes. Yep..that is not going home either. And since when do they charge 25-50 for a garment?
I spent 158 and part was for gifting. Or pantry stocks. I have no idea how a family can afford to eat. Of course fast food workers in Cali got a raise to $20 an hour.
