What An Adorable Man..

ONE
He had a meeting with his friends from the sport club, an online meeting ofcourse. He told me that one of his friends noticed something and asked him.
His friend : Hey, what happened to your razor? Is it broken?
Him : Nope. There is this woman. Her name is Kal from Indonesia. I have grown my whiskers for her.

My silent response -->
blushing love

~~

TWO
Once I asked him if there's any Muslim in his area. He said he wasn’t sure if there is.
Me : Let say I come to your city and I accompany you to a sport event where there are many friends of yours. What do you think will your friends say or do when seeing me, a Muslim woman wearing hijab, holding your hand?
Him : They will be nice to you because you are with me.

My silent response -->
blushing love

~~

THREE
Sometimes when we video called, he let the door behind him open so I could see his son’s bedroom door. Once I saw his son entering his room.
Me : Is that your son?
Him : Yes, the youngest. Do you want to be introduced to him?
Me : Naah. I am not ready. Next time, ok
Him : Sure, whenever you're ready

My silent response -->
blushing love

~~

FOUR
I told him about what a big tall western man did to me when we’re on the Train from Paris to The Netherlands.
Him : If I was with you that moment, do you want me to act accordingly?
Me : Naah, I can handle it. If he started being abusive, then it’s your turn.
Him : I have never been beaten but I am not afraid to
Me : Nooo… I don’t want that to happen

My silent response -->
blushing love

And every day there is always something, even just a little thing, that makes my heart touched.
Isn’t he so very adorable or what?
heart beating heart wings

Have a good weekend, everyone! wine

Not the way I wanted the new year to begin

Once again, I didn't listen to the "little voice in my head", which told me to prepare individual presents for my workmates. I didn't do this, as I think making it individual is too personal, and I do this only for friends and family.

My last night at work before Christmas, was the 17 December. I like the team I'm working with, so same as the year before, I prepared a "thank you present" this time a crate of 5 kg clementine and about 1.5 kg small chocolates for the whole team. I bought all this with my own money.

The muslim guy working the evening shift said he doesn't eat sweets, but took a few clementine before leaving, that was ok. I told him that the present was for everyone. On the morning of 18/12, before going home, I presented the present to the morning staff... people who I've been working with for almost 2 years. They were happy and thanked me.

I returned to work on the 26, and everything was gone, even the presents we got from the families of the people we take care of. Last year, there was still some available, even until the new year.

On Monday night, first night in the new year, one of my workmates for almost 2 years, who is also one of the women who received the Xmas gift, told me that on the morning of the 19/12, there was nothing left of my present to them, but 2 others had had their boxes filled with clementines.

Tuesday morning, before leaving work, I asked another long time workmate, if she had gotten anything from the present, she replied "no", but 2 others were eating lots of clementines on the days after I had left the present.

This pi$$ed me off, made me upset and very, very angry, to the point that, not even listening to a book on the way home (I usually do this to and from work) calmed me down. I had breakfast, showered, went to bed, but couldn't sleep, I was crying, I kept thinking of what those 2 young muslim men had done. As they were working yesterday afternoon, I felt like instead of sleeping, I'd go back to work and confront about their behaviour.

Not wanting to cause problems, as I know I would have done, being as angry as I was (If i cry when I'm angry, it means I've reached, or am almost to "the point of no return"). I called and talked to one of my bosses, who calmed me down and I was able to sleep, but she said when I talk to the 2 men, to do it in a calm way, and say it wasn't nice of them, to do what they had done.

Some days before Xmas, I was talking to those 2 men and they said they don't celebrate Xmas, as it isn't part of their religion or culture.

My point with this blog is, why the hell did they eat and or even take home all of what I had left as a Xmas present for everyone...9 including then both. I've been working with the team for almost 2 years, 1 of those men started working with us 4, the other 2 months ago, which is also the same amount if time they've been working in the nursing home.... You don't celebrate Xmas, but your should still have something called a conscience, and respect for others and their cultures.

I'm not sure if I'll see them the 2 nights I'm working next week, but 1 thing is for sure, even if I'm off duty when they're working, I'm going to go to work and have a serious conversation with them about this. Not only that, I'l tell then that before their ramadan begins, they have to buy a big cake for the team. I'm not going to threaten them, just say it in a nice friendly way, whilst hiding the "poison" behind my smiles.

Create a blog...

A quote from the top of the blog page:

A Blog is a journal you may enter about your life, thoughts, interesting experiences, or lessons you've learned.
I do, but some people complain about that.

Post an opinion, impart words of wisdom, or talk about something interesting in your day.
I do, but some people complain about that.

Update your blog on a regular basis, or just whenever you have something to say.
I do, but some people complain about that.

Creating a blog is a good way to share something of yourself with others.
It would appear that way on the surface. Should I go into detail of how people misinterpret what I say, gossip about me, copy or mock my comments in spinoff blogs?

Side note:
One of the biggest complaints about dating sites is the amount of scammers. I spend a few hours each week carefully researching bogus profiles FOR FREE and have been happy to have quietly rid CS of more than 1,000 fakes last year, yet one member here repeatedly has to make negative comments about it to others. In layman's terms WTF is wrong with you people?

Ethnicity: Native American

One of the profile selections allows you to state your Ethnicity. This must be open to interpretation as lots of black girls say they are Caucasian. Another choice that is mistaken is Native American.
Last I checked Native American was for the race of people who were already living here when settlers came to America from Europe, took their land and pushed them into reservations.

For clarification... None of those 'Indians' had blonde hair and blue eyes. So if your great grandfather came from Germany or Poland, Caucasian would be the correct selection and not Native American.

That's my PSA (Public Service Announcement) for the month.

Noosehim

I told my boyfriend that I can’t watch governor Newsom because he’s too good looking. I can’t focus on what he’s saying. I told him so I have to rely on your interpretation. My boyfriend said he tries to tell other states what to do even though he’s governor of California. And you can’t disagree with anything he says because he’s the governor of California. laugh I suppose his only redeeming quality is his looks then.

And no my boyfriend didn’t mind that I said that about Newsom. He’s secure in himself. I’m actually the one ashamed of myself that I can’t even focus on a word he says because he’s beautiful. I’m a sucker for beauty.

True or False

Well this could be true in most cases, but maybe that's why so many men rather run than be laid.

They (educated women?) say that men in general are like floor tiles.

If you lay them right you can spend the rest of your life walking over them.

multiple personality disorder

If we look closely, every person in the world is suffering from this disease. Our personality keeps changing according to our feelings. When anger, hatred, greed, ego, fear, lust, etc. dominate us, our behavior changes completely, and it affects our life also. Similarly, when good feelings awaken within us, our behavior also becomes good. Our personality depends on our good and bad feelings.
If we could control our feelings, we can get a stable personality and a stable life.

Mafioso mustache...

Mustache also spelled moustache refers to facial hair under the nose. I've used some language translators that have fewer words (than English) to describe facial hair. Beard, long sideburns, mutton chops, goatee and mustache all get grouped together. The same thing happens to gnat and mosquito where other languages call any 'tiny flying bug' a mosquito, but this blog is about mustaches.

I started facial hair growth in the 1970's around the time guitarist Ted Nugent released his album Survival Of The Fittest where he hadn't shaved in a few weeks. I tried the look, but that got shaved off as it really wasn't my style. In the 80's, my wife asked me to grow a mustache and it had the vertical strips like Glen Frey of The Eagles. Trimming it back to a normal length, the mustache has always remained and I often think there will be a day when I shave it off completely.

Going through old photos I found one of an uncle who had what many Italians refer to as a Mafioso mustache. It's a trimmed growth probably 5-6 millimeters (1/4") in width along the upper lip.

Certainly, if I lose my mind (and trademark mustache) and decide to shave it off, I'll buy an electric razor and document the event with photos... there will be the phase of Mafioso 'pencil thin' mustache before it all comes off!

Who knows, I may decide to keep it that way...

DISCLAIMER for those who don't actually read my blog and assume the guy in the photo is me. It's a nameless person who's photo came up on a Google search of mustaches.
