Hopefully, everyone reading this knows that dogs have a great range of hearing. They can hear high-pitched sounds way above the range for Humans. Because of this, dog trainers often use specialized whistles for training where they can teach a dog to respond to commands by the sound of a dog whistle.
Lately, the term 'Dog Whistle' has been used in a political sense. When used, certain groups of people hearing a key word or phrases will have meaning to someone who hasn't been 'trained' to respond.
It's almost like AMAZON ALEXA that sleeps until it hears it's name.
Another example would be Trump supporters waking up when they hear: Make America Great Again.
I'm reading about it and have seen a few YouTube videos reference phrases, I'm not 'in-tune' with the political dog whistle phrases. However, I fear not, someone will enlighten me about this phenomena.

Last night was my first real encounter with a person in an Alzheimer meltdown - strictly speaking in the form of LBD, Lewy body dementia, but I'd never heard of that before. A local friend brought her husband over (we live walking distance apart) for me to persuade him she really was his wife and not a dangerous intruder in their house. He's at the stage where he fluctuates between seemingly normal, if a little disconnected, all the way through to angry aggression, and back again. It took 20 minutes or more to convince him to give her back her phone and house keys.

Thing was, and why the blog, she's convinced his worst episodes are shortly after she's given him his sedation meds, twice a day, which are supposed to stop him stressing and fretting constantly. Does anyone here know much about the disease, have you any input? She is on groups and getting support and a few others on her groups have also noticed similar reactions but doctors insist it is not the medication but the nature of the illness. I wondered if anyone here was clued up on the topic.

They've been good friends to me but I had no idea how bad things occasionally are as up to now I've only seen him during his vague-but-friendly stages. Last night tipped once or twice towards scary. So weird that he knew me, and eventually trusted me to be telling the truth, but didn't know his wife of many years. So, another question, and yes we're not supposed to ask questions on blogs but this is more of a conversation - any advice on the best way to react, if (when?) it happens again -

Can't ask on any other social media as this is my only anonymous outlet.

A few days ago, Donald J. Trump posted on his social media site he had information to exonerate himself from the current legal matters that entangle him. On the advice of his lawyers (probably because it would open a quagmire that he could fall into) he restated the claim and said that it would wait for his day in court.

This morning in the news, Rudolph William Louis Giuliani aka Rudy Giuliani, who is facing election fraud charges in the 2020 election, claimed he has 'scientific proof' that will exonerate him. Rudy was at Mar-a-Lago last week asking (more like begging) the former president for money to pay his legal fees. I read, to raise money, he's got his apartment up for sale and there's a chance he could file for bankruptcy.

I dislike gambling, but I'd wager both claims of self-exoneration are just a case of "Open foot, insert mouth."

With the discovery of oil in the Orange Basin off the Namibian coast, will most probably mean the 'homing in' of countless vultures/ criminal elements from around the globe.

I lived in Namibia for 10 years, it's a wonderful clean and orderly country.

Wonder what the future holds.

I had this idea this morning. After ten years of being a member here, and seeing all types of scammers, i decided to found out a solution to make these pricks stop their deceiving work. Maybe my idea is not so perfect and needs to be improved and all ideas and suggestions are welcome by those who wants to help.
Lets create a room here, a blog and report the names and the profiles of all those people who wants to scam people and steal their money. Its simple right?
