TSA agents stealing money from passengers...

This should make you queasy as you put all your belongings in bins along the conveyor so TSA can be sure you aren't traveling with weapons, explosives or drugs as everything passes through scanners and x-ray machines while they search your... everything.
So you get your things back, put your shoes on and find $600 is missing from your wallet.
Who 'ya gonna call?

Footage newly released by the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office appears to show two TSA agents at Miami International Airport stealing money from passengers as they pass through an airport security checkpoint.

It appears surveillance footage works both ways.

The ALGORHYTHM

XVI.

“I bless the tyrant because the society embrace the tyranny, fueling from its core; the same society develops the means of a tyrant, to rule, for it is the people themselves becoming like little tyrants, in some specific cases or designed parameters who will influence their decisions. Could everyone admit what truly happens in Reality, with the evidences laid plain on the table, just in case of not mistaking the earthly rulers with the same beasts placed behind bars, or rather not make the error of exonerating the guilt of the crowds behaving like something not resembling human nature, when comes about wars, revolutions, or times in which restrictions of all kinds leading to the same tyranny, by compliance of the masses?! Could anyone, at least, raise its hand up, and assume its responsibility for every single action taken, until present day, - ? – or to at least, admit, when evidences, facts, being brought in its sight, that had a major, minor, or tertiary role in such a society reshaped with new norms of living, so that human being born with a superior right to live its life in freedom of choice, of movement, of action, is nowadays robbed of all and everything that has, so that finally, made or turned into a modern slave, to receive the penalty: you have to pay, to be alive!. - ? – could anyone, at least, understand what I am implying?! These have to be addressed to the people, regardless of nation, color, social status, ranking. For each, indeed, has to answer, in separation of majority. But I do wonder, how many among them, would truly have an answer. Because all the evidences indicates how society fuels tyranny, as without the support of the masses by any means or purpose, a tyrant can’t reign. Without the reason to rule, or to conquer, if not the motive behind all these, one can not enforce tyranny. But tyranny is being enforced individually, as well as through mass participation. And I ask: does really people support a ruling state of law which they seem fit, or they are deceived, into supporting even the most bizarre legislative norms with infliction upon human nature itself?! Does really people sustain freedom, when aspects of the law itself harms the human being, - ? – or they are just searching in a dictionary upon the definition of freedom, and then compare it with causes and circumstances when all could be null and void; because from devoid, a sense, a meaning, becomes twisted, so like within a language, despite a common word, one gives a significance within text and context, while other, understand the means behind the wording, so as the principles through which a language is an expression of a whole nation, or even a root to understanding of the human being and the environment – the world has a meaning, therefore, without the word be called or written; why then, a law which inflicts human nature, is given, in the name of freedom, and when the letter of the law is applied, with a signature and a stamp, takes each one’s freedom, away?!”

Argument

Ever felt like you’re losing out in arguments?

Well, get ready as I’m about to reveal 10 cool tips from psychology that can help you.
These are real techniques that anyone can learn and apply.
1. Understand the Other Person’s Perspective
The first and possibly most important psychological trick to get the upper hand in any argument is empathy.
Understanding their perspective doesn’t mean you have to agree with them, but it can help you see why they feel the way they do.
Ask yourself: “Why might they feel this way? What experiences or beliefs could be influencing their point of view?”
2. Stay Cool and Collected
Ever heard the saying, “keep your cool while others lose theirs”?
This is crucial when you’re in an argument.
If you lose your temper, you’re likely to say things you’ll regret later.
Deep breaths can help.
3. Use ‘I’ Statements Rather Than ‘You’ Statements
Here’s a simple yet powerful switch that can make all the difference in an argument. Instead of starting your sentences with ‘you’, which can come off as accusatory and put the other person on the defensive, use ‘I’ statements.
For example, instead of saying, “You never listen to me,” try saying, “I feel like I’m not being heard when I speak.”
4. Listen More Than You Speak
It might seem counterintuitive, but sometimes, the best way to win an argument is to listen more than you speak.
When we’re engaged in a heated discussion, our natural instinct is often to defend our position and make sure our voice is heard. But here’s the thing: If we’re too busy talking, we might miss out on understanding the other person’s point of view.
5. Seek to Understand, Not Just to Win
This one is more about your mindset going into an argument. If your sole aim is to win at all costs, you might end up winning the battle but losing the war. That’s because a victory won by bulldozing the other person can damage your relationship in the long run.
In essence, arguing doesn’t have to be a zero-sum game where one person wins and the other loses. Instead, it can be an opportunity for both parties to learn, grow and come to a mutual understanding.
6. Avoid Absolutes
When you’re in the heat of an argument, it’s easy to get carried away and start using absolute terms like “always” and “never.” But absolutes can make the other person feel attacked and defensive, which can escalate the argument instead of resolving it.
7. Admit When You’re Wrong
No one likes to be wrong. But let’s face it, we all mess up sometimes – it’s part of being human. The problem is, when we’re in an argument, our pride often gets in the way of admitting our mistakes. We dig in our heels and defend our stance, even when we know deep down that we’re in the wrong.
Here’s the truth: Stubbornly sticking to your guns when you’re clearly wrong doesn’t make you look strong or smart – it just makes you look, well, stubborn. And it won’t get you any closer to resolving the argument.
8. Use Silence Strategically
Silence is a powerful tool in an argument that many of us often overlook. When used correctly, it can shift the dynamics of the conversation and even put you in control.
When you’re silent, it forces the other person to fill the void, often causing them to reveal more about their thoughts and feelings. This can give you more insights into their perspective and provide you with valuable information that you can use to shape your arguments.
9. Focus on the Issue, Not the Person
In the heat of an argument, it can be easy to start attacking the person instead of addressing the real issue at hand.
But personal attacks only lead to hurt feelings and more conflict, not resolution.
10. Know When to Walk Away
Let’s be honest: not every argument is worth having.
Sometimes, the best thing you can do is to simply walk.Link: Mindful living

Kim Jong Un went to see Vladimir Putin...

Instead of taking the bullet-train, he took a bullet-proof train!
The meeting lasted more than four hours where he promised his full support for Russian President Vladimir Putin in what he called a "fight against imperialism"

In other world news, Jaime Maussan, a self-proclaimed ufologist brought 2 caskets to Mexico's Congress claiming they contain the mummified corpses of non-human aliens believed to be 1,000 years old.

Sept 13 1917, Miracle of the sun

A scientist describes the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima
On October 13, 1917, a crowd witnessed a miraculous event that was recorded by journalists, lawyers and scientists.

Thousands of individuals gathered near Fatima, Portugal, on October 13, 1917, to witness the next apparition of Our Lady. What they saw was widely reported at the time and became known as the “Miracle of the Sun.”

According to various sources, Dr. Gonçalo de Almeida Garrett, Professor of Natural Sciences at Coimbra University, was there and later recalled what occurred. (As a note, some claim the account was actually given by Dr. Garrett’s son, Dr. José Almeida Garrett.)

Dr. Garrett explains in his account that at first nothing extraordinary occurred.

I was looking at the place of the apparitions, in a serene, if cold, expectation of something happening, and with diminishing curiosity, because a long time had passed without anything to excite my attention. Then I heard a shout from thousands of voices and saw the multitude suddenly turn its back and shoulders away from the point toward which up to now it had directed its attention, and turn to look at the sky on the opposite side.

What happened next defied all scientific reasoning.

It must have been nearly two o’clock by the legal time, and about midday by the sun. The sun, a few moments before, had broken through the thick layer of clouds which hid it, and shone clearly and intensely. I veered to the magnet which seemed to be drawing all eyes, and saw it as a disc with a clean-cut rim, luminous and shining, but which did not hurt the eyes. I do not agree with the comparison which I have heard made in Fátima—that of a dull silver disc. It was a clearer, richer, brighter color, having something of the luster of a pearl. It did not in the least resemble the moon on a clear night because one saw it and felt it to be a living body. It was not spheric like the moon, nor did it have the same color, tone, or shading. It looked like a glazed wheel made of mother-of-pearl. It could not be confused, either, with the sun seen through fog (for there was no fog at the time), because it was not opaque, diffused or veiled. In Fátima it gave light and heat and appeared clear-cut with a well-defined rim.

At first he feared what was happening and tried to turn away.

During the solar phenomenon, which I have just described in detail, there were changes of color in the atmosphere. Looking at the sun, I noticed that everything around was becoming darkened. I looked first at the nearest objects and then extended my glance further afield as far as the horizon. I saw everything an amethyst color. Objects around me, the sky and the atmosphere, were of the same color. An oak tree nearby threw a shadow of this color on the ground.

Fearing that I was suffering from an affection of the retina, an improbable explanation because in that case one could not see things purple-colored, I turned away and shut my eyes, keeping my hands before them to intercept the light. With my back still turned, I opened my eyes and saw that the landscape was the same purple color as before.

At the end of it, Dr. Garrett affirmed that he was in his right mind and was not suffering from a hallucination.

And in fact everything, both near and far, had changed, taking on the color of old yellow damask. People looked as if they were suffering from jaundice, and I recall a sensation of amusement at seeing them look so ugly and unattractive. My own hand was the same color. All the phenomena which I have described were observed by me in a calm and serene state of mind, and without any emotional disturbance. It is for others to interpret and explain them.

The Miracle of the Sun ushered in a new wave of devotion to Our Lady that remains to this day.

How close am I to getting my own apartment?

My current living situation is this: In a house with 8 other people.. Well, 6, now that 2 have moved out, but usually, we're 9 people in this house. For the past three years or so, I have been wanting my own place, so I signed up for a few housing companies, to register my interest in a 1- or 2 bedroom apartment. I would like a place that's not too far from where I work.

On the housing companies websites, you can see your place in the queue, when the last bill was paid and when the next bill is due. Payment is yearly, and the amount is 165 dkk, or about $24. I can sign up for pretty much any apartment complex in their catalogue, but I have picked six complexes, that I would like an apartment in.

So, how far away am I from getting an apartment? Let's break it down, shall we? Four of the complexes are where I have lived before, so I know the areas well. One of them is my childhood complex. I am number 970 on the list, down three places since yesterday. Not a bad start.

The next complex is where my mother moved to, after her and my father divorced. This particular complex is split into 2 different "divisions", so to speak. In the first division, I am number 628 in line for a 1 bedroom apartment, and 1096 for a 2 bedroom apartment. In the second division, I am number 529 in line for a 1 bedroom apartment, and 925 for a 2 bedroom apartment.

Up next, this is where my mother and now-deceased stepfather moved, after they wanted a garden. There are two types of apartments there: Row of flats and apartment buildings. The row of flats has a garden, while the apartment buildings doesn't. I am number 1137 at both places.

The next complex is where my mother, brother and aunt live. Fantastic apartments, close to pretty much everything. I am number 542 in line for a 1 bedroom apartment, while I am number 828 in line for a 2 bedroom apartment.

The final complex is one I haven't lived in, but I once had a friend who lived there. I am number 539 in line for an apartment there.

So to answer the question I called my blog: How long until I'm getting my own apartment? Quite a while. The first complex I mentioned, the average waiting time - average - is about 30 years, since it's extremely popular with families, because of a primary school that was located on the other side of the bike path. That school burned to the ground back in 2019, so maybe people are moving out and are finding a place closer to a school. Before the school burned down, three primary schools existed within a fifteen minute drive.

I did the math - if I continue to move down three places on the list every day, in 323 days I will be offered an apartment there. IF that happens - and it's a VERY big if - I will say yes immediately! It's where I grew up, and my other aunt and uncle live in that complex, so it would definitely be a great thing if it happened. There's a Lidl close by, so grocery shopping would literally be a 10 minute walk away.

But - I am not expecting anything to happen for at least a few years. The thing about waiting lists, is that everything can change from one day to the next. Tomorrow, I could be number 2500.. We'll see when I get offered a place to live in either of the complexes I have listed above. I will keep you posted!

- Chapter I:
The ALGORHYTHM

XV.

“Why do I bless the tyrants?! Because – and just because – the world creates them, in most cases. Rare, is to be born one among the crowds, who will have a kind of birth-given credit, or inclination to this aspect of the matter. It is strange, for the many, - asking themselves: is a tyrant, to be blessed? My answer, rely upon the facts, which comes from a deeper analysis of what is human nature all about. But which, among those around me, to really understand, when I could count them on fingertips?! The world claims to love genius, and the image of what is a genius follows the majority; they just imagine a super-intelligent being, with a different capacity of thinking highly superior, and as well, with a different heart which is able to fuel its whole being into insights named astonishing. However, some of the tyrants, were actually embracing the same capacity rooted in what is Genius, while others – of course, majority – to be privileged by ranks, titles, given dominion, and of course, among them, a lot of stupid people with lesser and lesser capacity of thinking, or a distortion upon the aspects of the mind, heart, and soul, oriented to rule, to conquer, to destroy, to demolish, to crush, to burn. If then a lot of idiots seemed fit to rule upon the crowds, with appliance to fierce, violence, extreme, recorded in the entire history of mankind, it is no wonder – at least, for me – to what kind of extent was its reign, or dominion. Interestingly enough, strategy, cunning, made them successful into delivering evil, as if evil itself, was focused or concentrated upon transcending into a human being which would be able to conquer the hearts of the people. That is why, one can say that some tyrants were to be feared, by the level of violence, in enforcing their reign, expanding their twisted dreams or noticeable endeavors to conquer the world, either be there the scope of kingdom, or the greatness of an empire. While other tyrants, were – let’s say for the sake of the word in a distortion – loved, those beneath it, having besides the glittering eyes kept in a worshipping state, lots of privileges conferring power in ruling, like an extension of the master’s hand, or like united in the mind for the same inclination of delivering evil. Then, of course, we add the crowds, begging for justice on one side, while on the other, compliance, without counting the reasoning behind, either be there the hand who feeds them, either be there just an iron fist or a whip and a lash. One can distinguish various aspects connected to human nature, because when about to ask what truly a tyrant is, beyond all and everything such as deed, action, there is a human; even behind a ranking or entitlement, even behind a face with empty eyes or a mind split in distortions, a heart trapped in a maze, still, it is a human being. While some will say that does not resemble a human being, for its actions are oriented to sadistic states, animal, primal instinct behavior, predator, even being led to killing for pleasure, - even more, through deeds being compared as worst than a beast, - yet, it is a human. A human being. Fallen. Deceived. Empty. Damned. Cursed. What is the truth? What is in the middle of all these? Why would a human being reaching to such state?!..”
