hi . i am just making a point so dont jump on me..ladies you should consider giving older guys like myself a chance..in a lot of ways we are better...if a woman is between the age of 35 and 40 why not go out with a older guy you never know you may find your match with the older guy thanks

I understand that this a dating site and I am trying to find a date, but it seems that everyone is treating this like a myspace. All that they want are friends and seem to have no intrest in getting to know someone. I know that I am not a prize catch or anything but atleast I tell the truth and people get turned off by that. I guess that I am just venting and tired of trying.

Getting Rid of Those Mind 'Ghouls'

The majority of the mental dialogue which people have from time to time stems from their past experiences - especially childhood experiences. So get rid of the dialogue by replacing it with your own mental speech. Speak to yourself in your mind. Mentally tell yourself positive things. Once you have done this, you will immediately notice that it will become easier to picture in your mind those positive things, which you have mentally spoken

This is a crucial point because this saying is a true saying: 'you are what you think'. The things which you visualize in your mind will always dictate your behavior and the quality of life you possess. You will soon observe a change in your behavior and attitude, the moment you form a

habit of positive mental speech and of visualizing those things you are saying in your mind.

So for example, if you have a fear of something, mentally tell yourself that you are not afraid. Then visualize yourself not being afraid of that thing you were afraid of. Keep doing that every time you have that fear and you will soon see that the fear will fade away each time. This is how to set your mind free. I end with this passage from the bible:

'Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things' - Philippians 4:8

Back when I was married and raising my kids, my wife, now my x-wife, pulled something on me one day after work. I cant remember exactly what it was but it was quite upsetting and we got into a heated argument. Later, after all was said and done and we made up, so to speak, I asked her what in the world ever possessed her to try such a thing..?
She stated she saw it on a TV Soap Opera and it worked really well there on TV...! I did explain to her that those TV Soap Opera's are only for entertainment purposes and not real life situations..! She was a huge fan of General Hospital, As The World Turns, The Bold and The Beautiful, and many others....
So ladies, if you watch the Soap's, do you allow them to influence your life in any way..? If so, how and why...?
I know the Soap's arent reality and I hope you do know this also...be honest......
