Something both very exciting and terrifying has happened to me over the past weekend. I got hit by the "Thunderbolt". No, I didn't get struck by lightning. Here's the story:

Utilizing my online levels of dating, I made contact with a woman, exchanged messages and phone calls, and we met for the first time on Saturday. She came to my karate class' rank testing. I don't know exactly when she entered the gym, but when I first saw her, I got hit by the "Thunderbolt".

I'll try and describe the "Thunderbolt" as best as I can. I took the term from Mario Puzo's famous novel "The Godfather". He used it to describe the Michael Corleone's intense emotions upon meeting an Italian village girl named Apollonia.

To me, the "Thunderbolt" is a cross between getting punched in the stomach and having someone gently stroke your hair. It simply takes your breath away. There's a sort of breathless shock and then an overwhelming feeling of panic like getting hit hard in the gut, but at the same time you sort of like it and you don't want it to stop. After a second you realize that unlike a punch to the stomach, you're not fighting to breathe; you're just refusing to breathe in an attempt to slow down time because you know with each passing breath precious moments are flying by you.

As I mentioned before it is a wonderful yet horrifying experience. Wonderful in the sense that it's good to feel this sort of intense positive emotion, and horrifying in the sense that I'm scared that she may never feel the same way about me. I've only had this feeling once before for a woman and it was for my soon to be ex-wife, so you can imagine that I'm feeling really conflicted right now. The Thunderbolt is not just raw s*xual energy either. It's a sense of permanence. My heart leaps at the thought of us having a future together but it simultaneously breaks at the thought of future without her. I'll do my best to take things in stride and try to make her happy while protecting myself. I guess Love is a gamble just like everything else.

I've said it before this Chapter in the Bible is the blueprint for one's faith. Alot of people let satan just beat them down with guilt and I'm not good enough daily. Maybe a attitude or just a bad day, the enemy strikes you and targets you insanly. A mistake or maybe just not being up to par for people.

Where does this lead us?>?? Well it leads to a low self esteem, depression, lost of conscience and bitterness against all positive things. I mean the bottom line of the matter is can't seek perfection but seek the Lord that's when you find truth and righteousness in Him not men.

Jesus taught righteousness with common sense parables. Abide in Me and I in you and you will bear much fruit. Well what does that mean?? Abiding in Jesus is a spiritual connection that gives us a content heart from sin alot land and guilt. When you are in connection with the Lord there is condemnation. So don't let legalism bring you down or steal your joy.

Not one is good not even one, so don't beat yourself up or even worry. Victory comes from Jesus I need you, I understand I'm a sinner and Lord I need you to mold me in your presence. That's the victory prayer and one's stability is just simply relaying on the Lord's presence Spirit to mold us who we are meant to be. Don't let life beat you up, let the Lord build you up. Hello CS friends,
Well I must start off that I am freshly new here and so far it has been for me a great experience! Most of my life I have been abused by my two EX~WIVES, they have both left me with 2 kids each, totaling 4 kids. I love my kids with all my heart and believe me, I have a BIG heart! All I ever wanted in life was to love and be loved in return, I get that from my babies and noone else! Now I come to this site after leaving here months ago due to no activity or responses. I have to say that i wasn't looking for a woman too far away from my location. Somehow, all of a sudden, out of nowhere, comes this beautiful lady in my mailbox! lol... We have been chatting for a short time but, wow, she seems like the most amazing lady that i have ever or will ever meet in my lifetime Located on the other side of the earth.. lol..
As if someone intended for this to happen. I believe that she feels the same way that i do, "hoping". Does anyone believe that this sort of thing could happen this way? I'm awstruck by the whole turn of events! Could it be the ONE for me? I will tell you this, if she isn't the one, then there probably is noone for me ): Now im not saying im in love or anything like that but she is just amazing to me and she is real as real can be. Am i only dreaming?
If this is a dream please dont wake me! When we first met, i thought she was a model looking to turn me over to her web site, then the thoughts of her being a model? Has anyone on here ever had this kind of excitement before? I get all warm and fuzzy feeling when i just open her emails or when we are chatting together. Yes she knows how i feel about her, i am an honest man, i have to be, raising 4 children and doing it right! Will this work? for my true friend ......

The spring season is officially in full swing. After watching 'my' Mets lose to the Brewers today, I went outside and conquered my Sunday chore. Yep, no more procrastination, I got 'er done. That's right, I mowed the lawn. The first one of the year.

It forces one to walk the perimeter of the pondarosa and ponder. This year I've planted a bunch of different flower seeds in various locations on the property and am awaiting signs of growth. But, there's no indications yet.

Last week I planted asters, larkspur, morning glorys and appropriately, bachelor's buttons. :) I also expanded my veggie garden last weekend and notice that the radishes have already sprouted. Yipeeee ! Harvesting for them is only 3 weeks away ! I eagerly await them and all the other veggies; tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, lettuce, carrots, broccoli. I also planted cantaloupe and sugar baby watermelons and every year the big raspberry bush keeps getting bigger.

There is nothing like the taste of fresh home grown fruits & veggies ! It will be a fine summer !!
